Rudy Think portapotty motif on that toilet. Get the body without the tank and urinal and drop it right over the toilet. Until you put ups some real walls.
Thanks for sharing why you left! We had hoped it was on good terms. And now we get to hear your story and see more of your talents along with your team!
When Rudy found and bought/surprised his little brother with the 63 Chevy truck that told us all about Rudy's character. Obviously a great guy , raised well.
In other words, Rudy grew up and got out of his dad's shadow. It was time for him to be himself, and I respect him for that. He still makes appearances now and then.
Thank you for answering the most asked question, Me and a lot of other RUclips watchers have had. Glad for Rudy striking out on his own.. We are pulling for you Rudy!
I followed you from Matt's Offroad. You're a cool guy and I like what you've done and where you are headed. As my Dad always told me: "You gotta start somewhere, why not build your own road."
@@teamidris he has his own shop now doing his own thing but matt and crew call him to help out some still so he aint gone gone hes just growing up😁🤷♂️
He left because he realised most rescues were fake.. If you look at most of the sand rescues, there's a bow wave of sand in front of the front tyres. Meaning the car was Hard Braked in to get bogged.. and they just don't use Max Trax to get the cars out of snow, mud ,sand.. DSparks travel with them all the time.. on all rescue vehicles.. Matt Rescues is fake..
I really do miss Rudy on the channel. Glad to see he's happy and doing his thing though! Rudy wants to do it on his own, and tell his story. That's admirable. Rudy is Matt's top welder, but Lizzy has picked it up so quickly and is kicking butt with the welding now! I have feeling Rudy had a big part in teaching her. It's cool watching the skills being passed down.
Also, you actually interviewed the man himself! I thought this was gonna be more click bait with no substance and all guessing. Nice job Decent Garage, whomever you are! LOL :)
Deciding to go out on my own instead of continuing with my dad's business was both the best and stupidest thing I ever did. Every man has to branch out on their own at some point and then realize just how good they had it. Rootin for ya Rudy!
I'm in the opposite boat, kinda like Rudy my true talents go outside the immediate scope of the family business, and now I'm at an age/status where it is much riskier to go after that path instead of staying in a less fulfilling but fairly stable foreseeable future... It's a tough crossroad that I wish I would've turned at years ago, but I guess the grass is always greener and what not 😄🤷♂️
Rudy is such a down to earth, humble, nice guy and it is a pleasure to watch him work on his projects. Thanks for doing a feature on him and asking him questions we all wanted answers to. Well Done!
Rudy did a great job in this interview. He has a number of great guys to help him, Robby, Fab Rats, and other extremely talented individuals who would gladly help him. I wish great success in his life both in business and his private life.
I know a man that did a lot of fixes just to make it work , the best repair that comes to mind now is the head gasket blew [ water and oil mixed so remove the water and add more oil ] but no water at all ?
To be honest, I miss Rudy being with Matt. To this day, every video from MORR , I'm looking for Rudy to drive up. I wish Rudy the best but want to remind him to never forget the ones who will be there for him when nobody else is.
Well said! As a father I would be broken and a lil pissed. I have not subbed to Rudys channel and I dont plan on it because he says that he wanted to tell his own story and use his own voice but had used his dad and his dads platform to invite his dads subscribers to his channel. That is contradictory
@@theamerican8337 As a father myself I would be VERY PROUD of my son doing his own thing. I also would support him 110%. Any father that loves his son would want to see him grow and be successful. And if I was in Matt’s position I would encourage all my subscribers to go and follow my son. Why would any father not be supportive!!
Thank God his life with his Dad and the business didnt go down the same route as American Chopper went Well Done Rudy and Thank You for the video Decent Garage
Practice welding is better then learning how to weld by reading a book. I use to take my dads scrap metal and practice on it when I was in school. Luckily my high school had a college welding course we could take to get certified do my last two years of school I got certified.
Everyone has to start out from somewhere. I give him props for jumping out on his own and trying to go his own way. I hope he’s successful in wherever this leads him.
I have been painting automotive and industrial since i was 28 and im 51. Never went to school in my life for painting, from what I have observed in the autobody field is people who go to school to learn to paint or do bodywork are usually not that good at it. There is an exception to the rule but 98% have no clue and waste time going to school to learn to paint. When you finally get out of school the old timers are going to tell you to forget what you learned in school. When I started painting my old boss asked me "what makes a good painter" I bust out some textbook answer and he turns and looks at me saying "NO, What makes a good painter is knowing what to do when sh!t goes wrong and it will". Years later I never forgot that and was able to thank him for it and how much of an impact that had on me all them years ago.
I’m just glad to know that it wasn’t on bad terms. I wish Rudy much success as I am sure his dad does too. Keep building, you all have some awesome skills and BIG KUDOS to all of you for teaching your kids those awesome skills!
If I could build my dream truck it would be a 1990s obs f250 or f350 but it needs to be 4 door long wheel base white the whole interior would be black it would be on 9.00-20 military tires which is the stock tire size on a duece and a half it would either have a 300 I6 a 7.3 idi non turbo or a 460 it would have 8 inch dual stacks
I miss him at Matts! Very Talented and great guy. I did what he did also after I worked with my dad many many years. Did good on my own. BUt I did missed some good times with him and miss opportunity to grow the company even more. But, is what ever your heart tells you to do. Thats all it matters. Like to see you with Robby and FatRats too once in a while.
I miss Rudy in MORR's videos like everyone else, but I will never criticize anyone for taking advantage of an opportunity. And I'm really enjoying the stuff he's doing on his own channel. I do wonder what the "day job" at that shop is though.
Matt's Off Road Recovery has become too much pre-produced scripted clickbait. I got tired of watching a year and 4,383 episodes of fixing Ed's old truck that he is too old to drive. It was never about Ed, it was about the clicks. I liked Matt's more when it was about the recoveries and not the made-up commercial click bait crap.
Lol, toilet in the office or office in the bathroom? I think the first thing I'd have to build is a wall and a door with a lock between the toilet and the computer lol. Thanks for the video update!

I was behind the camera for this one and I gotta say, Rudy is as humble and down to earth in person as he comes across in his videos. Thanks Rudy!
Heritage shines through
In other words, Rudy grew up and got out of his dad's shadow. It was time for him to be himself, and I respect him for that. He still makes appearances now and then.
Rudy had the most proper education. A fantastic dad who taught him a trade!
Nothing ventured is nothing gained. He’s Young and ambitious. Fab work is a learned skill.

Really like Rudy, I think In a couple of years, Lizzy will move on too, get her own channel

Great guy from a great family. Keep your positive attitude and you will succeed.
The clip of Matt and the "gonna have a Cummins in it, guaranteed" made this video!!! As, I just watched that episode...
