You missed a GIANT part of Walken's professional story. He began acting when he was a kid, along with his two brothers, starring in commercials, live TV, and anything else they could cast him in. His mother managed his career but wasn't pushy, and Walken has said he really enjoyed it. He is one of the few child actors who survived to become successful as an adult. His mother was Scottish, so did not need to learn English, but his father was German. It was people in the neighborhood (multicultural) that caused him to develop his speech style. He started dancing as a small boy and danced on Broadway long before he did movies, starring in the road version of the original West Side Story. He met his wife, another dancer, while touring, and they are still together. These are things anyone knows who has taken the slightest interest in him. Next time, at least read Wikipedia, guys. P. S. He does not care how well or poorly his movies do. He's there to do the job, which he loves. Best attitude I've ever heard.

You should have mentioned "Who am I this time?" (1981) An early TV- Movie by Jonathan Demme( Silence of the lambs), starring also Susan Sarandon. Walken plays a young, shy man who can only express his feelings while playing his roles on stage, e.g. Stanley Kowalski in "Streetcar named desire". He shows a great versatility here, just great acting!

The last I even enjoyed a role by him was in Seven Psychopaths, his acting in the 2010s was just minor roles o cameos. He was a powerhouse in the 80, 90s and 2000s
Little known fact: the Fatboy Slim video did not include wirework. Christopher Walken can just simply fly through the power of shear magnanimous radiance. In fact, for some, seeing Christopher Walken floating in front of a large ominous painting is the last thing they will see.......
Rundown and Nick of Time are two of my most favorite movies of all time because of Christopher Walken!
Can't wait to see him as Padisha Emperor of the known universe in Dune part two. I've always loved Christopher Walken
An actor whose mere presence in a mediocre project can instantly make it better... Except for "Peter Pan Live", which we don't address.
One of the best actors of all time
5:00 He does not like it when a screenwriter “Walken-izes” a character. 😂
I love me some Christopher Walken
Walken had a certain way to deliver his lines along with his body language made him very strange . Great actor !
Did you mention his amazing scene in True Romance with Dennis Hopper? Short but breathtaking.
I hve always liked Christopher Walken as a unique one of a kind actor.
I LOVED him in Dad Zone and Brainstorm.
I really loved the movie The Milagro Beanfield War. He plays the hired gun in the movie. It is not a big part but that is a terrific movie.
My most favourite actor.....named my son after his character in prophecy....
America's Sweethearts is a brilliant and hilarious spoof and commentary on Hollywood. Walken was just the cherry on top.
Have been wondering that myself. Love C.Walken ! He's a great
dancer.
The Prophecy was an all around great B movie.
That’s my favorite movie, and his favorite role (he said in a book)
@@FadingVitals This movie brings back SO MANY good memories! I was a teenager, about 16. I went to school , and we were ALL impressed and inspired by his performance as Gabriel.
Is there a chance that you can tell me the name of the book?

I’ve loved him since at least The Dead Zone (I’m also a big King fan) and the parody of himself/his character he did for SNL was hilarious too.
Also if anyone here has not seen the “Weapon of Choice” video I would recommend you just go watch it now, it’s so good.
I‘m happy to own 2 autographs from him! He’s the best!
Lucky
One of my favorite Walken flicks is Poolhall Junkies! Him and Chaz Palmentaeri play off each other well!
He is awesome. He is magnificent. He is LEGEND. He doesn't need to do another thing.
I think he'll just go 'til he drops. He loves to work, and the world needs his level of skill and dedication.
I'm just trying to imagine a universe were Christopher Walken is Han Solo and what that would be like. I need to see it and know Disney can do it 🤣🤣
Chris Walken is doing fine. He's hiding under my bed like always.
Give him hugs please

One movie I didn't see mentioned was "Stand Up Guys" 2012. Al Pacino, Alan Arkin and Christopher Walken in a crime/comedy. Every role I've seen him play, it's always memorable.
“Out of all other characters, I am most like Morty from “Click”” -Christopher Walken.
Best actor all time
I seem to recall reading somewhere that in the Deer Hunter he was told by someone behind the camera (director?) to spit in De Niro's face without Bobby knowing about it and how Robert stayed in character to finish the scene. Anyone else hear about this?
Heard it. Dont know if its true
You left out Christopher Walken in "The Anderson Tapes," 1971. Good caper film with Sean Connery and a talented cast.
Just binged the show Severance and he was good in that I think
Christopher is king of comebacks , the years could pass before he made really a successful movie yet is good in all of them.
