New Killer: The Thing New Power: Unknowable Amalgam The Thing is able to adapt to any environment, and the Entity's realm is no different. In order to effectively hunt organics under new rules, it has evolved and will hasten its means to pursue and ASSIMILATE survivors. - Shapechanger: Press and Hold the power button at any time to open the "Morph" menu. The Thing can use the scroll wheel to select and mimic the appearance of any of the surviving players. When Shapechanged, the Thing gains the undetectable Status effect, has its red stain hidden, and its model mimics the Shapechanged Survivor. A needed addition Dbd would really enjoy for sure. Love how it actually sounds unnerving and has this unknown feeling to it, really fits the Thing well. Edit: while listening to the terror radius, I noticed that the 32meters sounds “Welcoming” in a way. Like it’s luring the survivors in which is a cool ass detail if that’s on purpose.

The Thing chapter would be an awesome addition, especially with RJ MacReady as a survivor and Outpost 31 as a map. You said it didn't end up exactly as you expected but I still think you did a great job!
New killer: The Thing Height: Tall / Very tall / Short / Average Terror radius: 32 m / none Speed: 4.6 m/s / 4.4 m/s The Thing starts the trial in his main form (formless thing from the end of original movie). In this form it's just a basic m1 killer. After hitting a survivor in main form, that survivor becomes infected and The Thing is able to Mimic him. Special abillity: Mimic While being in main form, The Thing can choose an infected survivor from menu of all infected survivors at the moment to Mimic him. After that, The Thing will quickly transform into chosen survivor. In this form The Thing can interact with various objects such as gens, totems, chests, lockers, pallets, windows and even survivors, but their interaction will not gain progress. The Thing just makes an illusion of doing objective. While mimicing, at any time The Thing can transform from survivor form to one of following forms. Transformation takes 3 seconds and has a cool animation (of course). First form: Spider-head "Survivor's" neck grows few spider legs out of it and after that, his head comes off. In the place, where neck used to connect with body, now grows a big mouth full of sharp teeth. The Thing now is that head and can control it. While in Spider-head form, The Thing gains 4.4 m/s speed as well as Undetectable effect. It can't attack survivors with basic attack and break pallets, but can be stunned by them. In Spider-head form, The Thing doesn't carrie the survivor to hook. It connects with their big mouth to survivor's neck and manipulates him to get to hook and hook himself. Survivors can't wiggle off that. Special abillity: Crawling While The Thing is in Spider-head form, it can crawl under pallets. It takes only 1 second. Special abillity: Hop on! While in Spider-head form, The Thing can Hop on survivors if it is close to them. When The Thing hops on survivor, it begins to crawl on them. After crawling 10 seconds this survivor becomes injured and after 20 seconds gets downed. However, every survivor can throw The Thing off their teammate. Timer of injury doesn't reset. (For example. The Thing crawled on survivor for 5 seconds. The Thing gets threw off, then hops right back, and now it has to crawl only 5 seconds until injury). Second form: Spider-body "Survivor" grows two additional pairs of hands and a long sharp bone out of each. It then grows a little mouth full of sharp teeth on the chest. While in this form, The Thing can break pallets and m1 survivor's. It gains 4.6 m/s speed and 32 m terror radius. Special abillity: Hunting While in Spider-body form, The Thing can press active power button to enable Hunting. While Hunting, The Thing goes down on all of it's arms, gains Undetectable effect and crawls (yes, again). It can crawl on walls and even floor, but can't m1, break pallets, vault windows, pick up survivors etc. The Thing can disable Hunting at any time, but it takes 3 seconds and in that time The Thing can't move. While Hunting, The Thing can freeze at one place to enable second abillity - Ambush. Special abillity: Ambush While Hunting, if The Thing stops at one place, it can use second power button to enable Ambush. While Ambushing, the little mouth on the chest grows into worm like thing that can move in any direction for 12 meters very quickly. Every survivor that comes in contact with worm will be grabbed and pulled to The Thing and will be unable to move until The Thing will not disable Hunting. Hunting disables automaticly after pulling survivor close. If Hunting disables while The Thing is on the floor, The Thing and survivor it grabbed both fall down and that survivor becomes injured. Third form: Chest-mouth "Survivor's" arms fall off and lots of small tentacles grow out of the place where the hands used to be. Chest and stomach turnes into one huge mouth. The Thing gains 4.6 m/s speed and 32 m terror radius and a special abillity - Tentacle grab Special abillity: Tentacle grab While Chest-mouth form, The Thing can press power button to activate Tentacle grab. Tentacles will grow forward out of The Thing's hands up to 4 meters. If they get in contact with survivor, this survivor becomes grabbed and gets pulled to The Thing's giant mouth, wich bites survivor insta-downing them. The survivor can get pulled over windows, pallets and some small objects. Special item: Flamethrower Flamethrower spawns in the random spot on the map. It's aura is revealed to all survivors within 40 meters of it, even if Flamethrower is being used by another survivor. While carrying Flamethrower, survivors are hindered by 5%. Survivors can burn The Thing using Flamethrower, while it's not in it's main form, causing The Thing to "die" and respawn in it's main form in one of 12 Dog cages on the map or as downed infected survivor who is dead on hook. (Let's pretend that each dog is infected and when ever The Thing "dies" this dogs or survivors turn into The Thing). After respawning in Dog cage, it destroys or, if it was as survivor, this survivor dies, limiting overall count of transformations to 12-16. The Thing can't be burned in it's main form. While carrying a survivor and few seconds after, The Thing becomes resistant to fire no matter what form it's in. Pallets, affected by fire, will quickly burn to ash. Survivors, affected by fire, will be insta-downed. If The Thing hits survivor with a Flamethrower, Flamethrower will explode, but will respawn 45 seconds after in the random spot on the map. After using Flamethrower for too long, it will overheat and survivors will be forced to wait until it cools (similiar to Billy's chainsaw). Perks: Predator among prey: You're abillity to act just like your prey, grants you a way to take them down before they even know it's too late. Whenever you kick a generator, this perk activates. While this perk is active, every gen you kick reveals it's aura with yellow to you. In the 8/9/10 meter radius around these gens, you again Undetectable effect and all your sounds are replaced with similiar survivors' sounds (footsteps, breathing and etc.). This perk deactivates and goes on cooldown of 45 seconds after downing a survivor. Paranoia: They know something's not right. Prove it to them. Whenever you hit a survivor, this survivor becomes unable to hear your terror radius, but they hear exact same terror radius around one of their teammates for 35/40/45 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 35/40/45. Scourge hook: Monstrous presence If they don't know where you are, it means you are everywhere. 4 random hooks turne into scourge hooks. After survivor is hooked on one of scourge hooks, every survivor becomes blind and oblivious for 10/15/20 seconds and aura of the nearest survivor survivor reveals to you for 8/9/10 seconds.
I am crazy and I liked your idea very much. But would've changed it very much to make it more balanced in my gaze. Anyway, that's actually a fucking great concept, specially the dog cages for "respawn"
You should make a Needles Kane "Sweet Tooth" concept from Twisted Metal. Incorporating his ice cream truck music and what not. The Sweet Tooth from the games anyway. Some Rob Zombie type of music would also work.
Ho-ly FUCK this is amazing. Once again you’ve taken a synth-heavy style and created gold! The amazing mix of the orchestra and minimalist electronic beats makes it haunting and addictively reminiscent, yet nonetheless unique. If you’re still open for recommendations on other potential licensees, I think Death Stranding or Mandela Catalogue would be interesting to tackle for DbD music. Other ideas would be Hannibal Lector or My Bloody Valentine for movies. And if you’re interested in dabbling into the potential of horror-adjacent anime for DbD crossovers, Danganronpa and Chainsaw Man are fairly good, if a bit on the popular side.

The Things power is cellular assimilation. By tapping the power button, your next basic attack will infect survivors with your cells. Infected survivors can be revealed by killer instinct and depeding on what button is pressed, either The Thing will imitate the survivors appearance and becoming undetectable, and gaining a ranged tentacle attack, or can change them into momentary killers for 20 seconds, allowing the thing to swap between its main body and the assimilated survivor. Perk 1: Incomprehensible Presence Your terror radius inflicts Blindness. When a survivor completed an action non cooperatively, they emit a 16 meter copy of your terror radius for 20 seconds. Perk 2: Chimeric Confusion When more than 1 generator is being repaired at a time, survivors repair speeds are reduced by 7% for each generation currently being repaired. Perk 3: Passing Infection When a survivor heals another survivor, the healed survivor becomes Oblivious for 18 seconds. When a survivor who suffers from Obliviousness was to come within 8 meters of another survivor not suffering from Obliviousness, they will become oblivious for 20 seconds.

I remembered an idea from a youtuber I saw before of having The Cloaker from Payday in DBD, so I think you should add that to the list cause these are just so good
I honestly felt like in the 32 meter radius it was an idle song in the menu when selected or something. And 8 meters feels more like 16, like it's getting closer but not as close or threatening. Other than that, very good job!
Pretty good work. The Thing would definitely be an interesting Killer in DBD. Survivors could become infected and have a limited amount of time before they become apart of The Thing. I also have to ask, what other killer concepts are you working on? Cause I have a few ideas if you don’t mind hearing them.

You should do the one for Crow Mauler, or preferrably Pocketcat maybe?? I think one of the two would fit the game really well If the thing was in dbd I would literally get a heart attack from the sheer happiness
Some characters I would suggest for killer theme songs are AM from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Deer god/Specimen 8 from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion and The Hunter from Dead Space.
You know that the thing would probably emulate a lot of Nemesis' powers though...they could maybe make it though disguised as one of the survivors...that might be an interesting concept, and change the game a lot into a pseudo among us style cat and mouse

You should do something from cry of fear, like Simon as the survivor or killer, and one significant enemy of the game being in the game. I think it would work super well with dbd!
If this is related to the movie, well, it wasn't that great but at least the concept/idea was good, i'm not gonna deny that and this theme, is really great, the menu theme has a great suspense and mystery, 32 meters is almost the same except you've to know it, then it scales like you don't know how to react since the fear to the unknown until it hits the chase moment, when the only thing on your mind is get away, how amazing
It can be brand-new stealth mechanic tbh, especially when we've got introduced first 3rd person killer. So... Hear me out. We can start a match with 5 survivors, which spawn together and are forced to have different characters, just cosmetically. But one of them is the Thing. It can repair gens and overall act like survivor. Also it can SABOTAGE gens while no one is looking. If survivors are sure who is the Thing, they can gather up to 2 or 3 people and attack the Thing, forcing him to reveal itself and start a chase like normal killer. After getting a down it can disguise again and mix up everyone's model, but ofc it's logical that less survivors remain - less effective the disguise is. That's why he should be given some other power - like, different tiers or forms, which grows with ammount of killed survivors. The only thing i can't figure out - SFWs with Discord and how to counter them. Because if Survivors know who is who at all times - The Thing will be easy prey for them
That's actually a good idea, I was thinking almost the same about him. That after the transformation to the certain survivor you could see aura of this survivor, to know where he is and not go there. Also there could be added some chase power to him

Но если отвечать сходу, то я был использовал что-то древнее боевое (как будто делал как-то охотника из племени), и добавил чего-то для футуристичного звучания. Меня поражает то, как люди тащатся с Hotline mayami или других дурацких концептов убийц в дбд. Неужели им по душе какой-нибудь киллер в маске убийцы, нежели внеземной разум, хранящий в себе знания мириады миров, разум, возможно непостижимый человеству, существо загадочное и таинственное, от которого не знаешь какой ужас ожидать. Но смотря на просмотры и актив под разными концепт видео я каждый раз сильно разочаровываюсь, т.к. возможно никогда не увижу своего любимого убийцу
Ну с хотлайном не вижу особых проблем в силу лора и атмосферы игры, хоть маньяк и просто человек. Но если бы у меня спросили, хотел бы я больше хотлайн, или нечто, то я бы выбрал второе

New killer: The Thing
Height: Tall / Very tall / Short / Average
Terror radius: 32 m / none
Speed: 4.6 m/s / 4.4 m/s
The Thing starts the trial in his main form (formless thing from the end of original movie). In this form it's just a basic m1 killer. After hitting a survivor in main form, that survivor becomes infected and The Thing is able to Mimic him.
Special abillity: Mimic
While being in main form, The Thing can choose an infected survivor from menu of all infected survivors at the moment to Mimic him. After that, The Thing will quickly transform into chosen survivor. In this form The Thing can interact with various objects such as gens, totems, chests, lockers, pallets, windows and even survivors, but their interaction will not gain progress. The Thing just makes an illusion of doing objective. While mimicing, at any time The Thing can transform from survivor form to one of following forms. Transformation takes 3 seconds and has a cool animation (of course).
First form: Spider-head
"Survivor's" neck grows few spider legs out of it and after that, his head comes off. In the place, where neck used to connect with body, now grows a big mouth full of sharp teeth.
The Thing now is that head and can control it. While in Spider-head form, The Thing gains 4.4 m/s speed as well as Undetectable effect. It can't attack survivors with basic attack and break pallets, but can be stunned by them. In Spider-head form, The Thing doesn't carrie the survivor to hook. It connects with their big mouth to survivor's neck and manipulates him to get to hook and hook himself. Survivors can't wiggle off that.
Special abillity: Crawling
While The Thing is in Spider-head form, it can crawl under pallets. It takes only 1 second.
Special abillity: Hop on!
While in Spider-head form, The Thing can Hop on survivors if it is close to them. When The Thing hops on survivor, it begins to crawl on them. After crawling 10 seconds this survivor becomes injured and after 20 seconds gets downed. However, every survivor can throw The Thing off their teammate. Timer of injury doesn't reset. (For example. The Thing crawled on survivor for 5 seconds. The Thing gets threw off, then hops right back, and now it has to crawl only 5 seconds until injury).
Second form: Spider-body
"Survivor" grows two additional pairs of hands and a long sharp bone out of each. It then grows a little mouth full of sharp teeth on the chest.
While in this form, The Thing can break pallets and m1 survivor's. It gains 4.6 m/s speed and 32 m terror radius.
Special abillity: Hunting
While in Spider-body form, The Thing can press active power button to enable Hunting. While Hunting, The Thing goes down on all of it's arms, gains Undetectable effect and crawls (yes, again). It can crawl on walls and even floor, but can't m1, break pallets, vault windows, pick up survivors etc. The Thing can disable Hunting at any time, but it takes 3 seconds and in that time The Thing can't move. While Hunting, The Thing can freeze at one place to enable second abillity - Ambush.
Special abillity: Ambush
While Hunting, if The Thing stops at one place, it can use second power button to enable Ambush. While Ambushing, the little mouth on the chest grows into worm like thing that can move in any direction for 12 meters very quickly. Every survivor that comes in contact with worm will be grabbed and pulled to The Thing and will be unable to move until The Thing will not disable Hunting. Hunting disables automaticly after pulling survivor close. If Hunting disables while The Thing is on the floor, The Thing and survivor it grabbed both fall down and that survivor becomes injured.
Third form: Chest-mouth
"Survivor's" arms fall off and lots of small tentacles grow out of the place where the hands used to be. Chest and stomach turnes into one huge mouth.
The Thing gains 4.6 m/s speed and 32 m terror radius and a special abillity - Tentacle grab
Special abillity: Tentacle grab
While Chest-mouth form, The Thing can press power button to activate Tentacle grab. Tentacles will grow forward out of The Thing's hands up to 4 meters. If they get in contact with survivor, this survivor becomes grabbed and gets pulled to The Thing's giant mouth, wich bites survivor insta-downing them. The survivor can get pulled over windows, pallets and some small objects.
Special item: Flamethrower
Flamethrower spawns in the random spot on the map. It's aura is revealed to all survivors within 40 meters of it, even if Flamethrower is being used by another survivor. While carrying Flamethrower, survivors are hindered by 5%. Survivors can burn The Thing using Flamethrower, while it's not in it's main form, causing The Thing to "die" and respawn in it's main form in one of 12 Dog cages on the map or as downed infected survivor who is dead on hook. (Let's pretend that each dog is infected and when ever The Thing "dies" this dogs or survivors turn into The Thing). After respawning in Dog cage, it destroys or, if it was as survivor, this survivor dies, limiting overall count of transformations to 12-16. The Thing can't be burned in it's main form. While carrying a survivor and few seconds after, The Thing becomes resistant to fire no matter what form it's in. Pallets, affected by fire, will quickly burn to ash. Survivors, affected by fire, will be insta-downed. If The Thing hits survivor with a Flamethrower, Flamethrower will explode, but will respawn 45 seconds after in the random spot on the map. After using Flamethrower for too long, it will overheat and survivors will be forced to wait until it cools (similiar to Billy's chainsaw).
Perks:
Predator among prey:
You're abillity to act just like your prey, grants you a way to take them down before they even know it's too late.
Whenever you kick a generator, this perk activates. While this perk is active, every gen you kick reveals it's aura with yellow to you. In the 8/9/10 meter radius around these gens, you again Undetectable effect and all your sounds are replaced with similiar survivors' sounds (footsteps, breathing and etc.). This perk deactivates and goes on cooldown of 45 seconds after downing a survivor.
Paranoia:
They know something's not right. Prove it to them.
Whenever you hit a survivor, this survivor becomes unable to hear your terror radius, but they hear exact same terror radius around one of their teammates for 35/40/45 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 35/40/45.
Scourge hook: Monstrous presence
If they don't know where you are, it means you are everywhere.
4 random hooks turne into scourge hooks. After survivor is hooked on one of scourge hooks, every survivor becomes blind and oblivious for 10/15/20 seconds and aura of the nearest survivor survivor reveals to you for 8/9/10 seconds.

You should make a Needles Kane "Sweet Tooth" concept from Twisted Metal. Incorporating his ice cream truck music and what not. The Sweet Tooth from the games anyway. Some Rob Zombie type of music would also work.

Ho-ly FUCK this is amazing. Once again you’ve taken a synth-heavy style and created gold! The amazing mix of the orchestra and minimalist electronic beats makes it haunting and addictively reminiscent, yet nonetheless unique.
If you’re still open for recommendations on other potential licensees, I think Death Stranding or Mandela Catalogue would be interesting to tackle for DbD music. Other ideas would be Hannibal Lector or My Bloody Valentine for movies. And if you’re interested in dabbling into the potential of horror-adjacent anime for DbD crossovers, Danganronpa and Chainsaw Man are fairly good, if a bit on the popular side.

The Things power is cellular assimilation. By tapping the power button, your next basic attack will infect survivors with your cells.
Infected survivors can be revealed by killer instinct and depeding on what button is pressed, either The Thing will imitate the survivors appearance and becoming undetectable, and gaining a ranged tentacle attack, or can change them into momentary killers for 20 seconds, allowing the thing to swap between its main body and the assimilated survivor.
Perk 1: Incomprehensible Presence
Your terror radius inflicts Blindness.
When a survivor completed an action non cooperatively, they emit a 16 meter copy of your terror radius for 20 seconds.
Perk 2: Chimeric Confusion
When more than 1 generator is being repaired at a time, survivors repair speeds are reduced by 7% for each generation currently being repaired.
Perk 3: Passing Infection
When a survivor heals another survivor, the healed survivor becomes Oblivious for 18 seconds.
When a survivor who suffers from Obliviousness was to come within 8 meters of another survivor not suffering from Obliviousness, they will become oblivious for 20 seconds.

I honestly felt like in the 32 meter radius it was an idle song in the menu when selected or something.
And 8 meters feels more like 16, like it's getting closer but not as close or threatening.
Other than that, very good job!
Pretty good work. The Thing would definitely be an interesting Killer in DBD. Survivors could become infected and have a limited amount of time before they become apart of The Thing. I also have to ask, what other killer concepts are you working on? Cause I have a few ideas if you don’t mind hearing them.

Some characters I would suggest for killer theme songs are AM from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Deer god/Specimen 8 from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion and The Hunter from Dead Space.
You know that the thing would probably emulate a lot of Nemesis' powers though...they could maybe make it though disguised as one of the survivors...that might be an interesting concept, and change the game a lot into a pseudo among us style cat and mouse

I wanted to do that, but I already did characters with a chainsaw. The most memorable enemies crom cry of fear is wielding chainsaw

Why dont you put the DBD motif in any of your menu themes?

If this is related to the movie, well, it wasn't that great but at least the concept/idea was good, i'm not gonna deny that and this theme, is really great, the menu theme has a great suspense and mystery, 32 meters is almost the same except you've to know it, then it scales like you don't know how to react since the fear to the unknown until it hits the chase moment, when the only thing on your mind is get away, how amazing
It can be brand-new stealth mechanic tbh, especially when we've got introduced first 3rd person killer. So... Hear me out.
We can start a match with 5 survivors, which spawn together and are forced to have different characters, just cosmetically. But one of them is the Thing. It can repair gens and overall act like survivor. Also it can SABOTAGE gens while no one is looking. If survivors are sure who is the Thing, they can gather up to 2 or 3 people and attack the Thing, forcing him to reveal itself and start a chase like normal killer. After getting a down it can disguise again and mix up everyone's model, but ofc it's logical that less survivors remain - less effective the disguise is. That's why he should be given some other power - like, different tiers or forms, which grows with ammount of killed survivors.
The only thing i can't figure out - SFWs with Discord and how to counter them. Because if Survivors know who is who at all times - The Thing will be easy prey for them
That's actually a good idea, I was thinking almost the same about him. That after the transformation to the certain survivor you could see aura of this survivor, to know where he is and not go there.
Also there could be added some chase power to him

За жанр тяжело ответить. Вообще, в идеале всегда соответствовать саундтрекам из фильма, которые использовали для хищника, их звучанию. Но если отвечать сходу, то я был использовал что-то древнее боевое (как будто делал как-то охотника из племени), и добавил чего-то для футуристичного звучания. Firstencounterassault, кстати, делал музыку для него, неплохо вышло.

Меня поражает то, как люди тащатся с Hotline mayami или других дурацких концептов убийц в дбд. Неужели им по душе какой-нибудь киллер в маске убийцы, нежели внеземной разум, хранящий в себе знания мириады миров, разум, возможно непостижимый человеству, существо загадочное и таинственное, от которого не знаешь какой ужас ожидать. Но смотря на просмотры и актив под разными концепт видео я каждый раз сильно разочаровываюсь, т.к. возможно никогда не увижу своего любимого убийцу
Ну с хотлайном не вижу особых проблем в силу лора и атмосферы игры, хоть маньяк и просто человек. Но если бы у меня спросили, хотел бы я больше хотлайн, или нечто, то я бы выбрал второе
