Yo B Clark in order to fix your T2 assuming it means type 2 diabetes, than the first thing you should do is start a Ketogenic Diet, meaning reducing your carb intake a lot, once you start the Ketogenic Diet make sure you do have a good amount of protein like 3-6 Oz per meal so you won't have hypoglycemia symptoms when you lower your carb and sugar intake, what protein will do is activate the hormone known as Glucagon and this will probably fix your problem with that,( I got this from a Dr.Berg video), also make sure you are eating your vegetables Dr.Berg recommends 7-10 cups of vegetables per day, and I know that might sound like a lot of work and a lot of veggies, and it is, so if you can't do that much, anything is better than nothing, so maybe 4-5 cups of vegetables or 2-3, basically as many as you can do, once you are on this Ketogenic Diet maybe for like 3 weeks, than you start incorporating Intermittent Fasting into your lifestyle, by doing 2 meals a day instead of 3 or you could even switch off some days, because you are doing Keto, make sure you get a little bit of high quality salt to keep your electrolytes up, like Celtic Salt and/or Pink Himalayan Salt, I personally don't know too much about Celtic Salt, but have heard it in videos, and I personally use Pink Himalayan Salt, because it's a good quality, I have heard you need a tablespoon a day, don't quote me on that though, what I do sometimes is shake a little bit of Pink Himalayan Salt into a cup of water and mix it with a spoon to dissolve the salt into the water, and then I drink it, I might do that once a day, also don't forget to drink water on Keto and in general, just don't golf down so much water to the point where your urine is clear, because according to Dr.Berg that means you are peeing out your electrolytes and thus making your heart weaker, and he says your pee should be a straw yellow, I am not even sure what that means, I am assuming it means a light yellow color or a light yellow straw color from a colored straw at a restaurant or something, also if you are on medications, and of course on insulin, than you need to of course talk to your doctor about the plan I just gave you and work with him on this plan while he measures out how much medication and insulin you need as your improve T2D, because once you start improving it than you will be needing less of that stuff, because T2D is a problem with the liver, T1D is a problem with the Pancreas, and T3D is a non official name presumably for Alzheimer's disease, because there is Insulin Resistance in the brain, T2D is a reversible disease that occurs over time as we age, and basically the worse your insulin resistance, you could develop it later in life, all of this information is a plan I have created based on information I have taken from Dr.Berg and Dr.Jason Fung, and have just putting it into a plan. I think this plan could really help you and even reverse your diabetes despite what doctors say that you can't reverse, because you can, but it could come back if you are not careful and get back on an unhealthy eating plan, but it is reversible, but of course advise your doctor first before starting this, I don't want to be responsible for something bad that might happen to you even though I don't think any of that would happen, just to be sure, like I said I would do this, you can also look up on RUclips MANY people have started the Ketogenic Diet and have reversed their T2D and have improved other chronic diseases and have improved their cholesterol and heart function. Oh and also one last thing, the best vegetables on a Ketogenic Diet are Cabbage, Asparagus, Bok Choy, Spinach, Kale, Broccoli, Salad, also make sure you are getting in enough fat, moderate amount of protein, and low carbs and sugars of course! I hope this helps you out a lot man! You've got this you can beat T2D and punch it in the face, just like I tell some of my tests in school 😂 you don't bully me, I bully you and punch you in the face, you don't punch ME in the face! lol

Wouldn't application of ropical magnesium through the skin be the best way to supplement for magnesium deficiency. I read that most of the magnesium is lost during the digestive process, and that is best absorbed through the skin.
Everyone is Mg deficient as not only is it not in the soils any longer, due to artificial fertilisers, but also everyone has stress & / or consumes sugar in many forms including processed grains; both of which burn through what little Mg we do have.
I actually stopped taking my Metphormin and Glicazide a week ago. Blood sugar is in the 5's, when I eat it goes up to high 6's and an hour later I'm back down to the 5's. I did my first 72 hours fast with just black coffee and green tea from Thursday night at 7pm and finished Sunday night at 7pm. My blood sugar was at 3.8 on Sunday around 6pm (do a lot of speed walking) so I decided to just stick with 3 days. I get around 50 - 60 carbs (almost all from fiber and veggies) a day and fast every other day from 7pm - 2pm the next day when I don't work out. On days that I do workout, I have breakfast and last meal at 3pm then fast until next day. I will do 2 day fasts once a month now I think. I also do resistance training 5 times a week and security (11k steps a day most days).
I take magnesium/potassium/d and k2 suppplements. I think they're are the most common mineral deficiency in ppl because its so hard to get enough from just food

It's taking fasting to recover my health! Thinking of going bank to the gym now!
A lot of people have a hard time absorbing any minerals due to low stomach acid. People taking antacids are only making it worse. In this case use foot soaks and magnesium oil or magnesium flakes in a warm bath. Your body will absorb what you need IF you are indeed deficient. Doing it this way you won't have to deal with gas and bloating that magnesium can cause in some people regardless of type. If you have low stomach acid you can take your magnesium with Betaine HCL/Pepsin and see if that helps.
Chromium is important too- Regards magnesium - I had left foot drop and unable to walk on my heel or even lift that foot-my shoe is worn but when I've upped the magnesium I can support my whole body weight on the effected heel- nothing truly scientific about that until you consider I'd have a few bits of lettuce or cucumber maybe some peas as vegetable once a week in the past. My BP is normal (was 145-90) before had readings of 114-77 recently - it not all down to that though as I've really cleaned up the diet- after years of eating rubbish absolute rubbish foods drinks etc. When I stopped magnesium twice in the past its returned .
Too bad there was no mention of the best form, & delivery method of supplementation for those highly deficient, and/or unable to metabolize certain forms. Or, of the role Iron plays, in the metabolism of Mag. Or, of proper testing for Mag. levels, & why serum levels aren't always the best indicator. Such a vital mineral.
If you are "highly" deficient then internet is not the best way to talk about delivery methods. Only after getting tested, you can be advised about the solution. For general non-deficient folks, daily application of a simple magnesium chloride solution is effective. For severely affected, an IV or injection is needed. And then there are tons of supplements with magnesium in different forms.

You've got this you can beat T2D and punch it in the face, just like I tell some of my tests in school 😂 you don't bully me, I bully you and punch you in the face, you don't punch ME in the face! lol
A regular blood test fir magnesium is not accuarate. Get a rbc test but mist doctors r pretty dumb n don't know wat tgat us or won't test ur red blood cell which will measure the mag in ur cells
toeknee Lorenzo honestly, they are fuckin assholes. don't listen, think they are Gods, taking kickbacks from the drug companies.
Wouldn't application of ropical magnesium through the skin be the best way to supplement for magnesium deficiency. I read that most of the magnesium is lost during the digestive process, and that is best absorbed through the skin.
Excellent advice and information ☝🏻
How much magnesium is absorbed when bathing in epsom salts?
None
THANK YOU DR BERG
Really enjoying your life changing videos. Keep it up.

Thank you so much for the wealth of information that you share with us constantly. RESPECT!
"0:53" -- Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for Magnesium for men is "400 to 420 mg" & for women around "300."
I take magnesium/potassium/d and k2 suppplements. I think they're are the most common mineral deficiency in ppl because its so hard to get enough from just food
Main 1 will be shopping for this & Swiss chard for breakfast- no problem. I have the classic leg cramping.. and yep- no problem with the dark Chocalate! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I've read/watched videos about K2 and think it would help me. What brand do you use, how many mg per day, where do you buy? TIA.
@@lindacormack365 Hi Linda, amazon, Life Extension super K, I get the 3 pak, 270 capsules for $45; one a day. After blood test, my K level is fine now.

How about Epsom Salt and Himalayan Salt?
I really wish people would say which diabetes they are talking about. Type 1, type 2, or both? As a person with type 1 daibetes this is very frustrating because usually when someone says "diabetes", they are referring to type 2.
He's talking able type 2.
Thank you for the informative video. You mentioned consumption of coffee depletes Magnesium and impacts Insulin resistance. I have come across articles indicating that black Coffee contains polyphenols which help prevent onset of diabetes. Can you please clarify on the contradiction and also quantify levels of magnesium depletion per cup of back coffee.
I don't think Dr Berg can provide how many micrograms of magnesium are deleted out of the system, per grams of coffee consumed.
Caffeine was mentioned. Caffeine is a diuretic and vasoconstrictor.
Just drink your coffee and rub magnesium oil spray on the soles of your feet.
you should look up william Albrecht. He was a soil scientist at the university of Missouri and came up with a nutrient building plan for soils based on a balancing of calcium magnesium (68%ca to 12%mg) I wonder if the same balance is needed in what we eat?
My temp doc took my off of lasix for swelling. I told him it wasn't helping and actually caused my sugar to spike and bp to rise. I noticed this when I usually had lies blood pressure and sugars. Around 60-90 was norm for me. I was a more active and could walk 20 miles ca day. Had perfect chemistry. Started taking that Crap...through everything out of whack. It's taking fasting to recover my health! Thinking of going bank to the gym now!
Dr Berg please make a video on cupping
A lot of people have a hard time absorbing any minerals due to low stomach acid. People taking antacids are only making it worse. In this case use foot soaks and magnesium oil or magnesium flakes in a warm bath. Your body will absorb what you need IF you are indeed deficient. Doing it this way you won't have to deal with gas and bloating that magnesium can cause in some people regardless of type. If you have low stomach acid you can take your magnesium with Betaine HCL/Pepsin and see if that helps.
Chromium is important too-
Regards magnesium - I had left foot drop and unable to walk on my heel or even lift that foot-my shoe is worn but when I've upped the magnesium I can support my whole body weight on the effected heel- nothing truly scientific about that until you consider I'd have a few bits of lettuce or cucumber maybe some peas as vegetable once a week in the past.
My BP is normal (was 145-90) before had readings of 114-77 recently - it not all down to that though as I've really cleaned up the diet- after years of eating rubbish absolute rubbish foods drinks etc. When I stopped magnesium twice in the past its returned .
So which Magnesium is best to supplement with?
Do you recommend Glutathione???
1 tsp of Epson salt dissolved in water is a good source of magnesium. ❤️
Wonderful tip. Thanks Dr. Berg
Salad with organic Hemp seeds!
What are the 10 foods to avoid diabetes?

Dr Berg can you do a video about the best diet for crohns disease. Also i dont want to lose weight rather gain weight. Can you do a crohns disease video please. I would highly apreciate it. Thank you
You might do a search of Dr. Berg's videos re: Crohn's Disease. He has spoken about it. Jordan Rubin was on the verge of death when he finally found help. He has written a book about his experience in great detail. He also authored "The Maker's Diet". You may wish to check him out. I've read both of them. Excellent info. I pray that you heal your body of this horrid disease. It's such a shame that so many doctors just don't have a clue about good nutrition!! Clean, nutritious food is #1.
@@vickieturner8688 Thank you for your reply.
@@M1a2n3o43 You are more than welcome! One of my dear friends died from Crohn's and the horrible effects on his human body. I did extensive research to try and help him. Unfortunately, he listened to his Dr. He ended up with a colostomy bag before the end. As with most of the physical problems that we have, our choice of food is the culprit for our ills. I do hope that you check out Jordan Rubin. May your efforts to heal be mightily blessed!
Do we need to consume magnesium supplements during prolonged fasting (2+ days - 1 week)? If so, how much is needed?
How about soaking in Epsom Salts?

I used to take magnesium supplements, but it made me way too tired the next day so I stopped,, I do eat a lot of pumpkin seeds, but I do drink too much coffee...so....maybe I’ll take it again,??

What is the best source of magnesium to take for type 2 diabetics? I've heard you can make magnesium bicarbonate from milk of magnesia and carbonated water. How reliable is this?
I don't get calf cramping but I do get cramping in the arches of my feet. I have recently started adding salad to my diet due to your videos.
100 grams of pine nuts have 251 mg of magnesium and 597 mg of potassium. Not too many people mention pine nuts for some reason.
Maybe, because they're almost as expensive as gold.
@@chachadodds5860 you can find them reasonably priced if you search. I did.
