I remember my mother helping me make the signal box in the mid 1960s. She also had to help with the engine shed, level crossing, booking office, garage and a couple of the houses. She is a very patient woman!

The signal bridge looks like a modeler could easily install LEDs or "Grain of Wheat" light bulbs to make an operating model!
