  • My time spent in Rocky Mountain National Park was short but packed full of fun! Join me as I hike in a hail storm, camp by the river, and traverse the most technically difficult trail I’ve ever attempted. Good times! Thanks for watching ❤︎

    Would love to learn more about the permit process you went through to be allowed to film! So many creators have been stifled by this process so it'd be nice to see it broken down.

      Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪. Does Colorado not want to attract tourists, what’s with the filming permit stuff, sounds crazy and uber controlling. For me, that scenery looked stunning and made me want to visit someday. Thanks Jen for highlighting another beautiful spot in your expansive homeland.

    Live in breckenridge Colorado. Here’s some tips for your next hike in the Rockies. Go in the MORNING! Afternoons are unpredictable. We hike at 7 am. Never come into concerns. Our search and rescue teams are constantly searching for people stuck on the tops. Of the mountains in the afternoons. Be smart. Hike in the mornings people!!!!!

    Lots of people ski in June . Glad you came to Colorado I so enjoy your adventure travels, but I agree with the other few people it would be nice Sunday if you ever are inclined to go back to doing some home organizing videos I so enjoyed those! You're a brave woman to travel alone the way you do, I admire you!

    I have been watching your camping videos like crazy and can’t wait for the next. Thing is. I don’t really have a desire to camp at all. So i have been wondering why im so drawn to these videos. For some reason it clicked while watching this one. What im drawn to is watching a woman feed her soul with something she loves. Unapologetically. Pushing herself when she needs to and drawing back when she needs to. Being happy and sad at the same time. Carrying on when its hard. Finding beauty in nature. Making the best of it when her plans get messed up. I love it. Im striving for it my own life. Somehow i think these videos help. Please keep it up. All of it. Cuz im f-ing here for it!

    It's beautiful there, Jenn! We RV, my husband and I are in our early 60's. We started out tenting, then got a little pop-up when he had children, after that we had a really old pull-behind camper, next my mom gave us her old motorhome, after the motor blew up we got a used 5th wheel, we moved on to a bigger new pull-behind, and now we have a new 42 foot 5th wheel. I loved them all and wouldn't go back and change a thing. Camping has always been our family vacation. I, too, love walking through the campground in the evening to look at all the different camp set-ups. Camping takes you to some of the most beautiful places.

    started in a tent (i think 3 different styles), then a Roadtrek, finally a Casita, a huge reason we did stop camping, too expensive (enjoying Air BNB's lately) and a lot of the people you interact with are just not prepared or true campers like we are and want to be around. i don't mean to sound whatever u might say ...but a lot of folks are not prepared (don't put out their fires, don't pick up their trash, a lot of the places we bike or hike are take in take out, but they leave behind so much??!?!? which is so frustrating. if i have the abilities i would get rid of it, but i don't often have huge garbage bags to dispose of it all) ...i think you go to extreme (i think being cautious and aware of it all ...be apprehensive is smart, you are making good decisions and learning. growing in your knowledge (seeking books, or apps on your phone, whatnot) and are taking in more from other hikers you meet) but please let me say i respect that so much more ...you have to be ready for all situations because out west the weather does change so quickly and you need to be aware and ready for a possible overnight stay ...you never know and i think being a single hiker like you are …genius on your part. a lot of movies this day (other viewing apps, shows, podcasts, or whatever) and age make the younger crowd not think wisely or maybe the "commonsense" seems to not be taught from their parents (or guardians) ... i don't know? my brother jokes that he's a true camper ...meaning he takes a roll sleeping bag (foods, and most needed supplies carried on his back. he loves hiking.) and sleeps on the earth ...nothing between him and the bears (or other critters) we have never done that method of camping. can't imagine. we have done all states but Hawaii and Alaska, multiple parts of Canada, so we know our stuff. prefer electric over dry camping. keep having fun and thank you kindly for your fun vlogs, honest thoughts, etc. Beth ( ;
