Wow that is a great idea. I need to look harder and find some in my yard. Thanks for the link in case I can’t find any.

My yard is apparently full of the narrow-leaf variety…but I have at least 3 varieties. Thanks for the recipe…I had no idea making salves was so simple! Thanks!!!

You don't have to chew the leaf, you can just crush it up in your fingers and rub it on the sting, works just as good. I got stung about a month ago and for the first time ever, tried the plantain leaf on it. I was kinda shocked how well it worked and how fast. It made me pretty interested in medincinal herbs.
Great video! I'll have to try making some salve.

I just found some broadleaf plantain in our yard. I've seen it for years at the various places we've lived & never knew the uses for it.

We use plantain salve for mosquito bites, rashes, cuts, and minor burns. Keeping some in the kitchen is so helpful. Each time I've burned myself while cooking, the use of the salve immediately after the burn results in no blister and instant pain relief. Healing is also dramatically increased.
Thanks for the video! I have a batch of plantain oil in the cupboard that's ready to be transformed into a healing ointment. Great for gifts! 👍🏻👍🏻

Plantain, my first love of weeds ❤ I used it for itching first and then discovered a strong tea would break up crud in my lungs; happy accident. I use broad and narrow interchangeably.
