    Dimash is a promoter of love, peace, and tolerance of all. He's been to and participates in anti-racism/peace summits and gives to charities all over the world. This work definitely needs to be heard all over the world, along with his amazing voice. Your interpretation is very spot on.

    Best and most versatile composition and vocals EVER! Please react to the live version as well (Almaty Concert part 3 from minute 25) on Dimash's RUclips channel). It is worth being appreciated separately. You'll understand why for sure after having watched it. Dimash's artistry is devine, absolutely unmatched. Thank you so much for your reaction! Thank you for your good interpretation of the video.
    In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself.
    The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
    He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.
    The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
    As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.
    Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor.
    But it‘s funny how very few reactors realize that the soldiers shot in the arm at the beginning of the war scenes was Dimash.
    If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com
    Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.
    He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles.
    ruclips.net/video/2C55a3mvfP/видео.html
    The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel, Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English
    ruclips.net/video/YP1r9wlkmHU/видео.html
    And he's been singing it in all his concerts ever since. But always a little different.
    Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

      Wonderful interpretation! This video is truly life changing. Or should be. One thing I read somewhere that you didn't mention was the medallion. It's a compass. It's significant that it has an opening when Dimash first finds it, and whenever it's in the possession of the "peaceful" people, but the hole is closed for the militaristic ones.

    Great reaction 👍 “The Story of One Sky” was composed by Dimash and the script of the MV was written by him also. It took him three years to finish it. Dimash and his team worked very hard to make it and all of them deserve we show appreciation for the amazing artistic work they’ve done. “It was perfectly scripted and beautifully acted"
    This masterpiece has shaken all of us, it is a plea for peace, Dimash scream is a desperate call to think for ourselves and change our sad destiny if we continue to follow mistaken leaders or symbols that just divide us and have made us lose the horizon. Love is the answer to live a better and fair life for everybody. What a pain to see us, as humanity, reflected in this MV. 🥹🥲🌹💔🎤🔝

    Many feel this is a masterpiece of Dimash's, including me. Dimash wrote the story, composed the music and the emotion he portrays is so raw and real. It was 3 years from start to finish for Dimash and so important for him to share his feelings of how our world has become such a hateful, heartless place. He has spoken of his feelings about war at his concerts on times. Loved your reaction and you got the story perfectly. Thank you 😊💕🙏

    Dimash is an extraordinary man. I feel he didn't act it, he didn't need to because he felt it very strong in his heart. He was given that special gift that he can feel what he didn't experience by himself, like losing his child and so. But he knows it anyway.
    This is a masterpiece and I feel all the pain he gave into it 💔

    Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😥
    Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, and also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
    Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
    This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
    This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, and the other boy grew resentment with time and grew up to become the Piper and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
    1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end.
    2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end.
    3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war.
    For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions.
    I’M CHOSING LIFE!! 🙏🙏
    See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖

    I lived 26 years of my life under a dictator and I know what it is to feel fear when a policeman approaches you. I did not experience the horrors of war, but many of my relatives did and my grandfather was taken away and shot in the back of the head with others for no reason. I can relate to this story. Unfortunately, we are living a period in history in which our lives can dramatically change if our country is ruled by a dictator. It’s up to us to be vigilant and avoid voting for extremists in both ways of the political spectrum. People should use this video to educate the younger generations. Thank you for your reaction. ❤️🙏☮️

    The title itself - “Story of One Sky” - is thought-provoking. Before Islam became the predominant religion in Kazakhstan, the nomadic people of the steppes followed Tengriism with Father Sky and Mother Earth as deities. Like many old pantheistic religions, its core tenet was the “unity of all things” since everything in the natural world is animated by and connected through spirit. This concept of spiritual unity lives on in Kazakh traditions, music and poetry.
    It is subtitled "Requiem” to commemorate and mourn all those who have died in war and in the struggle for peace, but it is also a vision for the future and a call to action to save ourselves and our world. Raised in an observant Muslim household, classically trained in music, educated in world and Kazakh history, and immersed in literature and folklore, Dimash has a deep understanding of sacred music and the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as ancient traditions, so it is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
    Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself.
    The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but it is distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people.
    Dimash interweaves the past and the present, the ancient and the modern, throughout this work. Alluding to more contemporary music, with the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony to be achieved by erasing our differences and giving up our identities. The world is complex, cultural roots run deep, and people experience life quite differently across the globe. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must find common ground while respecting our differences and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way.
    The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. We see that happening every day around us.
    The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Many of us remember the story of the Pied Piper of Hameln from our childhood. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start war, who do not support war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against?
    The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed. There are no winners in war. Dimash is right: war is death.
    The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant and punctuated by the sound of Tibetan bells that create a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. The birth underground is reminiscent of the sacred cave Akmeshit (White Mosque) found in Southern Kazakhstan, an ancient place of power said to heal diseases and cure infertility. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking up the sacred mountain together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. With the mountain scenes, Dimash alludes to another sacred place in Kazakhstan on the Kazakh/Russian border, Ice Mountain, which is referred to by the local Altai residents as “The dwelling of the Gods” and by Buddhists as the location of the Shambhala, the legendary country of Gods.
    When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening of the sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storms of his emotions that buffet the pilgrims. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is also that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby.
    The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.”
    There is a very moving scene where pilgrims bury a man who perished on the journey. Men of different faiths come together to honor his life and his passing. This reverent expression of love and unity stands in stark contrast to the commander’s harsh pronouncement that it is war that unites people.
    Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect.
    Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
    This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. As the hymn goes: "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."
    Dimash is a very spiritual person, so using the symbols and sounds of the major world religions is fitting for this work. For those who do not subscribe to any faith tradition, I want to mention Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s latest book “Starry Messenger” where this agnostic scientist calls for the need to develop a cosmic perspective along with the rationality of science to solve the intractable human conflicts that so often lead to war. It is on that HIGHER ground - be it in religion, humanism, or science - that we can find COMMON ground.

    ❗THEY SAID IT COULD NEVER BE DONE AGAIN ! Too intricate, musically demanding, when pianist composer Franz Liszt composed the first Symphonic Tone Poem in the early 1800s and changed music forever. Dimash stood on his shoulders, composed a 13 minute symphony, wrote a screenplay, acted it, sang it, put it in movie format, distributed it and brought the international music community to its knees. In weeks, LA was calling and at their invitation, he spent 3 weeks there in meetings with industry executives and artists the calibre of David Foster. They had no idea what they were in store for. Reeling from all reports 🖐️🤣 at's our boy ! Thank you for your incisive remarks. 🌿

    Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations:
    (1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time);
    (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death!
    (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon;
    (4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.

    The genious of Dimash:
    At the beginning of this song, Dimash sings the lyrics:
    "Piper's crazy, we're all bound to fall"
    Here Dimash is referencing his childhood friend that saved his life on the beach (future leader) by refering him as "PIPER" It referenced a deeper meaning from a medieval folklore inspired by a Grimm Brothers legend of the "Pied Piper" of Hamelin who lead innocent children to their death with his mesmerizing melotic flute.
    There will always be another "Pied Piper" that will lead innocent people astray with their (mesmerizing rhetoric/propaganda) and lead them to their deaths through the guise & facade of war "to unite people".
    At the end of the video, we see Dimash as a grown man with the symbolic necklace. He is the child that was born from the union of his parents (Dimash & the girl from his childhood). The little girl that Dimash was holding in his arms was his daughter. He does not know where his pregnant wife is or if she even survived. We hear the lyrics:
    "Here is last chance...Piper's lead us to the slaughter long enough"
    "Time to wake, it's not a moment left to lose"
    With such devastating loss & suffering, he sees the futulity of war & chooses NOT to follow the "Piper" anymore. However, as we see here, vengence is not the resolve, as violence met with violence just leads to more death & suffering, everyone looses.
    The new born child (from Dimash & his wife) becomes the leader to lead a new generation from all walks of life (depicted by various nationality & faiths) to walk a different kind of path of Peace & Neutrality NOT war and choose LIFE.
    This sentiment is reminiscent of Jesus' teachings recorded at Mathew 26:52. Here Jesus commanded Peter, one of his diciples who tried to to defend Jesus from the Roman soldier's unprovoked & unjustified arrest:
    Mathew 26:52
    "Then Jesus said to him (Peter): “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword."
    Similarly we see from this video (a labor of love) and Dimash's impassioned plea for PEACE!!! Even if it means to walk away from all that you know and to start all over again as seen the last image of him lead the people to a path of PEACE! At the start, each one of us can make a CONSCIOUS effort to choose LIFE!
    Hence Dimash sums it up beautifully when he sings the lyrics of:
    "Here is last chance...
    Can we balance on the edge of fiery grave?
    Our future, is it possible to save?
    "So when our crazy Piper's failing,
    We decide to stop the trailing,
    We decide to follow the light...
    We're making final turn from wrong to right.
    We are choosing life!

    Just in case anyone missed any references in the video, This is by far the best explanation I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober:
    This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism.
    It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan.
    In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass.
    Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon.
    It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light.
Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence.
    That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love.
Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price?
    War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life.
    Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress.
Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. His soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby.
    Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness of other people.
We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

    (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy;
    (4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general;
    (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family;
    (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend;
    (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life;
    (8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special;
    (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.

    👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
    This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
    Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace).
    One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'.
    The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work.
    The second transfers his problems, his unheard claims of ownership from childhood into the adult world and mercilessly follows his twisted ideology.
    By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save:
    “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
    The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
    While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
    However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
    A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
    The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
    Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Script - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Music - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...)
    Directed by - Alina Veripia (She wrote the script and directed the MV "Okay")
    DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad)
    Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value.
    No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world.
    We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven.
    (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes)
    My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?

Noting that she makes her choice with the thought of losing 😢 Dimash (That smile of coming back to Life. That Knowing). Then the sharing of the sun ☀️ dial as a symbol of Friends Forever (Love, Light & Time)✨
    The words of the Pied Piper (leading people to war) were blatantly stupid, as they always are if you really listen to any Pied Piper (well done for pointing that out). Also, the symbol being corrupted from Love to Hate, Light to Darkness (upside down isn’t unnoticed) 🥺
    Dimash, his Pregnant Wife (the girl on the beach), & Daughter are on the defensive side of the war.
    While Dimash is fighting, his family is helped to safety.
    But the Wife goes into labor, & the Daughter goes back for her treasured 🧸
    Defense being only necessary because the Piper takes control & freedom from others. Forcing his soldiers with the always-present threat of
    "Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity."
    Blah, Blah, Blah‼️
    Dimash makes his way home to his family, only to see he is too late (the burning town sign).
    Calling on all the strength of Man’s ✨Spirit✨ to face what he fears in his home. He takes the step 🥾forward.
    ✨🎶✨The Crying For Strength Too The Soul For Needed Endurance ✨🎶✨
    Thinking there’s no way his Daughter is dead without the same fate happening to his Wife. He's got nothing left to lose, so he chooses to sacrifice his life to stop the Piper’s madness.
    His Son is born. The symbol is placed upon him for the death of his Mother in labor.
    Notice Dimash & Wife are together in the boat at the end. The striving of souls to the Light ☀️. His grown Son wears the ⏳ symbol on the path to a Peaceful Future with All ✨🌎✨ Leaders

    My take on the story:
    It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child (the tallest boy, Dimash is tall!), saves the boy, who eventually became the Dictator. Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people of all religions are being led in peace, by Dimash’s son who was born in the movie)

      The tall boy becomes the dictator. If you look on the right cheek of the tall boy and the dictator they have the same mole. The tall boy would not accept the necklace and you see him as an adult holding it in his hand and he never put it around his neck.

    This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life.
    Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb)
    So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer.
    Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷
