The version of the 5th element song (the diva dance) you want is this one ruclips.net/video/o5zMupUOgQo/видео.html not the confessa one where he duets. This older one from the singer is the best version of it he has sung! Btw its not the whole song- it doesnt include the first 70% from the movie that is from an actual opera - he just sings the challenging bit that singers attempt - so its only like 2 minutes long - so even if a patreon asked for the worse version, please do this singer version too - its much better in most fans opinions. Its not 100% the same as in the movie because there is 1 or 2 note jumps that is litterally imposible for a human lol- but besides that its way closer to the movie than anyone else has ever gotten and its amazing how he can bounce up and down such clear sharp notes so fast.
Просматриваю, прослушиваю этот шедевр в сотый раз и все время слезы льются градом , сказать , что я в шоке...значит ничего не сказать....Супер, спасибо большое ВАМ за реакцию ..

Dimash is just on a higher level of awareness than the generations of today. He's a man. A grown up with a well preserved inner child. A fascinating human being. Talent is off the charts. No one like him. Check out Diva Dance performed at Bastau. Its short....but no auto tune or digital enhancement. Reactors need to make time to cover Dimash content. Hes not top 40 . Thanks for your reaction. I suggest you check out his live performance of this at Almaty concert. This piece quite profound and goes stylistically hoes over alot of heads , the message is clear. War destroys beauty and the innocent Senseless wars must stop. Sometimes we must fight.... but today its gotten money and power driven versus noble causes.
I wouldn't necessarily say, for a fact, he's a higher level awareness of the generation today. He has an avenue to discuss it openly. Definitely bring never them most maintain artists for sure.
@@mcflyjp He is higher cultured and aware of more indepth philosophical and personal insights. He is not ego driven. Meaning and connection is more important than fame or money.
Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction, you got so much of the plot right, way to go! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😥 Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony. He is a Legend and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. “People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony. I’M CHOSING LIFE!! 🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖
This video is almost twice as expensive as Michael Jackson's Thriller, and before the creation of Dimash's Story, Thriller was the most expensive ever music video in the world, which Michael spent $5 million on.
👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace). One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen Script - Dimash Qudaibergen Music - Dimash Qudaibergen Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...) Directed by - Alina Veripia (She wrote the script and directed the MV "Okay") DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad) Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value. No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world. We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven. (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes) My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change? *** Pope Francis awarded a commemorative medal to Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen during the Pope's visit to the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions September 14-15, 2022 in Astana/Kazakhstan. A lot to go through here. But many people find this song very emotionally charged and resonate with it a lot. The fact he's able to at least think about things differently is important.
Can we just say that with Dimash's acting and screenwriting skills that if this had been a full on movie he would be deserving of an Oscar? I love that with a lot of his own work he forces us to ask the bigger questions of what we can do to improve our world, he doesn't hand us answers or allow us to wallow in the past, it's all about moving forward to create something better for ourselves.
An Oscar is fine and dandy but in my opinion that award has lost its luster. Too many good actors without Oscars just like there are too many good artists without Grammys. I think all great artists take the risks of either getting extremely deep with their music and/or having us ask the hard questions.
FOR OVER 100 YEARS SAID IMPOSSIBLE TO DO AGAIN, so difficult, complex and demanding, Dimash stood on the shoulders of the great 1800s pianist composer Franz Liszt who composed the first symphonic tone poem and changed music forever, he not only composed one, a 3 year effort, a symphony in diminished time frame, he made music history ! He composed, conducted, wrote a screenplay, he acted it, sang it, put it in movie format and distributed it. Has music executives, composers, and artists reeling internationally, and they're knocking on his door. Spent 3 weeks in talks with industry executives in LA before his current tour. Much talk of awards.
To be honest industry labels will ruin his brand I feel. They WILL autotune him because the labels do that to even the best singers. The industry ruins creativity. So for the sake of his art I hope he stays independent. He obviously doesn't need them.
@@mcflyjp He is sole head and CEO of DIMASHALI, his long term, world renowned production company, recently featured in a German TV special on 5 young adults from around the world who are radically changing their industries. @@mcflyjpHe is currently living in Los Angeles to conquer the western world from there (he has been dreaming of a Grammy since childhood).😉 It has also been reported that he may attend the New York Film Academy later this year to study directing. He is also currently working on his Ph.D. in composition. A truly remarkable! young man, in many ways. I think we can expect a lot more from him in the future, and not just as a singer. But he will certainly remain independent, he already had offers in 2017 after "The Singer", which he turned down for this reason, preferring to slow down but go his own way with his own production company Dimashali. This masterpiece has shaken all of us, it is a plea for peace, Dimash scream is a desperate call to think for ourselves and change our sad destiny if we continue to follow mistaken leaders or symbols that just divide us and have made us lose the horizon. Love is the answer to live a better and fair life for everybody. What a pain to see us, as humanity, reflected in this MV. 🥹🥲🌹💔🎤🔝
Thank you for your reaction. If you want to have some details about the song and the video, there's a booklet on his website. If you google "Dimash The Story of One Sky Digital Booklet", you'll find it. (I'm not putting the link because I don't know if RUclips allows it). Waiting for your reaction to Diva Dance-Bastau. Take care.
Great reaction to the best voice in the World. This is a Materpiece !! "WE CHOOSE LIFE !!! Yes, react to Dimash doing The Diva Dance DIVA in Bastau Concert 2017 . No one can do it better - male or female !! Thank you - greetings from New Zealand.
Just in case anyone missed any references in the video, This is by far the best explanation I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. His soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.
Hi, friend. With love from Russia. You are a wonderful reactor and thoughtful person. I noticed that you try to answer everyone in the comments, but I assure you that Dimash has so many fans ("Dear") that you will be bombarded with comments and you will stop keeping up with them)))))
I thought about this one for a few days and had an existential crisis (small one). What are we doing but perpetuating the shortening of the humans half life.
In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. It’s funny how very few reactors realize that the soldiers shot in the arm at the beginning of the war scenes was Dimash. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰. He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles. ruclips.net/video/2C55a3mvfP/видео.html The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English ruclips.net/video/YP1r9wlkmHU/видео.html Please react to the Diva Dance from the 5th Element from his Bastau concert. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition in which he also performed The Diva Dance together with another awesome Italian song Confessa by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano. The Bastau version is short but much better. He was much more relaxed there because it was his concert and no competition. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. You can react this song with another awesome version of Diva Dance together because it is really short (1.42 minutes). Some other reactors do. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China on January 25th, 2020. He sings with a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera Li Yugang. That's why he's trained to sing so high. This nasal singing is traditional and he is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. It’s really fantastic. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰. That's shows you that he's breaking barriers if the Catholic pope gave him an award. Just goes to show how important and impactful music can be. I definitely want to watch the Diva Dance as this song showed me be would probably knock that out of the park.
@@mcflyjp It's not just his voice that fascinates us about Dimash. He is a very humanitarian man who donates a lot for children, old people, hospitals and in June he visited seriously ill children at his concert in Malaysia and distributed teddy bears. He has already donated entire proceeds from concerts to a good cause. Of course, that also rubs off on his fans. Not only do fans/Dears of the various fan clubs organize fundraising for the needy every year on his birthday. Last year, Chilean fans managed to plant a forest with more than 1,000 trees in Patagonia for Dimash to reforest, which will even bear his name. He has positively influenced many Dears. He is a strong advocate for peace, as you can see in this video. Here's to a peaceful coexistence and never tires of talking about it not only at his concerts, but also in many interviews. You can see all the humanitarian things he does on his Wikipedia page. I can't name it all.
This masterpiece promotes understanding and peace between peoples. Our contribution will be to spread this message to everyone within our reach. Dimash has been working for peace for a long time. Your "dears" WE CHOOSE LIFE!!!!!
Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.
@@mcflyjp This is Dimash's goal with his artistic work. Regarding religions: May they not bring divisions in their differences, but unity in their common goals!

The live version is absolutely incredible. I really love the fact that you brought up Dimash uses his platform to spread positive messages to help unite humanity, he definitely is an Ambassador of Peace. This is my first time seeing your reactions, I am definitely looking forward to seeing more, thank you for going over 10 minutes, it’s time well spent ❤.
@@mcflyjpI agree, this was performed at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the next day he released this video, a massive 3 year project for Dimash, not only did he compose the music he also wrote the script for the video, this message comes from his heart. He composed War and Peace as well, I was told that it was performed in early 2020, so this is not his first time addressing the message of peace. I will look up the time stamps from the Almaty concert, he does speak prior to performing this song so you will want to turn on subtitles. Time stamps 23:15-35:45 ruclips.net/video/YP1r9wlkmHU/видео.html
@@mcflyjpI'm anxious to see your reaction to the live version. I've heard many times that it's only when you see him live in concert that you truly feel the power of his voice. This new world tour has started off in South East Asia but I've heard there will be 9 dates in Europe so as I'm from the UK I will be flying out to the one that's closest to the UK. Seeing him live is my only bucket list item as he's one of the few artists that apparently sounds far better live than he does on video or through a camera lens.
DR. QUDAIBERGEN. Currently writing his Doctoral thesis for his PhD in Musicology in Composition, he remained a full-time honors student and maintained an international performing career filling global arenas at the same time.
Very impressive getting his doctorate in music. That's one of those things that honestly is just perseverance. (not taking away from the hard work) but the higher echelon of music theory and composition can be very tedious.
@@mcflyjpAre you an industry professional? You have more than a, passing knowledge of music. Few qualify (the Doctoral Program) still fewer complete it, I am reminded he was also performing in top global venues concurrently. Requires having completed all advanced math classes in undergrad and graduate school with top grades. Then letters of recommendation from recognized authorities etc. He is considered a scholar among academics. Course material extremely demanding. It isn't unheard of for it to take years to write a doctoral thesis and argue it, friends and family went to school with him. Saw him argue his Master's. (video), brilliant, has a wicked sense of humor, very unassuming & down to earth, wide ranging interests. Ex: red belt with stripes in taekwondo, and world class swimmer and equestrian, horses in the blood of all Kazakhs. He stood on the shoulders of Franz Liszt with his The Story Of One Sky. Made music history, a 3 year effort, the international music community is still reeling, lotta talk of awards.
I got my degree is music and was in the industry for maybe 5 years before I decided to start a family and switch over to a career in Technology. So I have more knowledge than the general audience but certainly am not an expert.
@@mcflyjp Obviously still a love and interest in music, particularly good music. I hope your career in technology is rewarding and you enjoy great success and happiness in your personal and professional life. Patty
Thank you for thoughtful reaction to this Masterpiece of Dimash. He composed music and wrote a script for movie. For better appreciation of his voice I highly recommend to react to live performance of The Story of One Sky from his Almaty concert on September 23, 2022. It’s in the 3rd part of concert. The performance is no less impressive than mv. Dimash left his heart on that stage! Dimash is unbelievable!
Absolutely loved your reaction, especially your thoughts about the song! You were introduced to Dimash differently from most other people. The first song is usually SOS (Singer 2017 version). I definitely recommend you react to it. But since your next song is Diva Dance, which is also incredible, please react to SOS (Singer 2017) after that. Also, he performed the Diva Dance several times. Please check out both the Diva Dance (Bastau 2017 - less than 2 min) and Confessa and Diva Dance (Singer 2017). Thanks!
@@mcflyjp SOS (Singer 2017 version) link: ruclips.net/video/JEz1qGS0T1Q/видео.html. That was Dimash's first performance at a Chinese singing show, where he was discovered. He blew people's minds with that performance and many others. He was 22 years old then.
For Confessa and Diva Dance (Singer 2017): ruclips.net/video/23HYymUjIHE/видео.html; and Diva Dance (Bastau concert) : ruclips.net/video/o5zMupUOgQo/видео.html
More movie details: (1) The three (children) and the two boys disputed the girl's attention; (2) The character (which Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend; (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy; (4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general; (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family; (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend; (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life; (8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special; (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.
Yes. A bit hard to follow when I'm also worrying about the chat and other factors. There is a great story here now that I've watched on my own time. Amazing the plethora of talent on this man.
Well just go to Dimash Diva Dance, Bastau to see Dimash do.... the Fifth Element. He does it several times in fact. Diva Dance Bastau, Diva Dance and Drunken Concubine, and Confessa Diva Dance. Bastau is very short because it is not combined. All three are during live performances.
The Protagonist (Dimash) dies, his daughter dies as an innocent victim of the war, the antagonist dies. The son (of the Protagonist and his wife) survives with the help of people of all faiths and, in the last frame, continues, together with pilgrims of all faiths, on the path of Kindness, Hope and Faith. for the best.
I love your reaction, but you missed the storyline by not watching what was actually happening and who was who throughout the story. Please watch every frame closely and you will be blown away! Peace. 🤗🎶♥️
I understand, but perhaps just watch it privately, where you don't have to worry about stopping and commenting. I promise you will have an even deeper appreciation for the video. 🤗🎶♥️
This is an original video from his concert in Kazakhstan in the best quality. - "The story of one sky". (Look at 25 minutes) : Dimash - Almaty Concert | part 3. -- ruclips.net/video/YP1r9wlkmHU/видео.html
Hard to follow while also trying to make sure I am reading chat as well as other things. I have since watched in on my own with more focus and understand the true artistry of the story.
I get it, not everyone has the same feeling about his music. I am curious, though, how much of his work you've actually heard. Is this the only piece by Dimash that you've seen? Is it the genre that doesn't appeal to you? Purely asking out of curiosity.
Totally understandable. I wouldn't consider Dimash easy listening. I wouldn't put him in a playlist to play on a short car ride. This particular one is a piece of art. It's something I think you have to watch and listen to. I get though the operatic or intense singing style isn't appealing to all. Myself included. I'm just mesmerized by his talent.
I've only seen a couple. But I understand what he's coming from music is subjective and the type of singing doesn't appeal to all. You can appreciate the immense talent and artistry without actually liking the type of music.
@@mcflyjp which I get. That's why I was asking because I think a lot of people are introduced to his works and think this is the only style he sings, and it definitely is not everyone's cup of tea. So I was curious if he'd seen any of the pop or rock pieces Dimash has, several of which he does in English. For me that's one of the great things about Dimash, he has music that really can be for everyone. 🥰
@@mcflyjp oh you have some big surprises in store, not all of Dimash's music is big operatic pieces. He does a lot of pop, rock, EDM and lately he's moving into jazz and blues. At his concert in Turkey he premiered a collaboration with DJ Burak Yeter that is currently taking the summer festivals by storm, we just witnessed 200,000 people dancing at Exit festival to Weekend, which is soon to have its official release on all major music platforms. Plus there's Screaming, Be With Me, Okey, Golden, Zhalyn, Lay Down, Durdaraz, Fly Away, Together and a lot more than I can list here. Dimash doesn't have a genre. As an independent artist he can do whatever takes his fancy at the time as he doesn't have a record company telling him what lane he has to stay in. His own music tastes are eclectic and he listens to anything from Pavarotti to Eminem.
Thanks for this. I will make note. And pin as this is the next one :)

Well considering my stream got cut off as I started it I'd say that that is incorrect. That's why I covered it
Dimash composed this, it took him 3 yrs. To write it, and he acts in it. Through out the video keep your eyes out for the friendship necklaces
I'll have to watch it again!
Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction, you got so much of the plot right, way to go! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😥
Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity.
See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖
The ks for the kind reply. Many of the commenters were not happy they I missed a lot of the story.
But thanks for this rundown. This is very helpful!

Yes this one is coming next.
This video is almost twice as expensive as Michael Jackson's Thriller, and before the creation of Dimash's Story, Thriller was the most expensive ever music video in the world, which Michael spent $5 million on.

Спасибо за реакцию❤ Димаш самый лучший человек на планете❤❤❤❤ 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
Great musician for sure.
By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen
Script - Dimash Qudaibergen
Music - Dimash Qudaibergen
Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...)
Directed by - Alina Veripia (She wrote the script and directed the MV "Okay")
DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad)
Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet.
(description box, Dimash news, astanatimes)
My opinion: The whole song is an outcry.

Thank you very much ❤️🇫🇮

Very unique talent that has done much of this on his own terms. Love to see it.
Spent 3 weeks in talks with industry executives in LA before
his current tour.
" Highlighting it, the only organization of its kind, on a state of the art corporate campus of studios, large stage, facilities for sound, lighting and concert stage design, Creative Center, video, film and music studios and recording facilities, Administration and Legal, Advertising, Marketing and PR, warehouses for merchandise sales and distribution, everything down to ticket sales, he directs and manages his entire career in house, nothing is or has ever been farmed out, always surrounding himself with the best. Daily operations are run by his Father, the former largest music producer in Eurasia and successful vocalist in his own right, his Mother an opera star, and is staffed by long term collaborators, and talented friends and family, he is the sole decision maker. No one will auto tune him, he is his own label/brand. Importantly, the eldest son, an aristocrat, he is ceremonial head of his family, a direct descendant of a 14th century noble family of the Khanate of the Junior Zhuz, genealogy is extremely important in his culture. Raised from birth to assume the many duties and responsibilities to his people at 18 in ceremony this entails, he takes them seriously and performs them publicly and privately with dignity and grace, locally, nationally and internationally. His Father is titular head. Locals saying wait till the LA boys get a load of the understated Saville Road bespoke suits, the quiet handsewn shirts and the handmade Florentine loafers that walk into their "important meetings"...
Kudaibergen translates as “gift from god”. I’m not very religious but I believe it! ❤❤❤
Is that his actual last name? If so, what an expectation to have to live up to. (He's doing everything he can).
Yes. Dimash Kudaibergen. You’ll sometimes see it spelt as Quidaibergen. His brand is DQ.

Thanks for the props.
Yes the Diva Dance will be next. And his vocal range is definitely unmatched.
Just in case anyone missed any references in the video, This is by far the best explanation I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober:
This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action.
Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.”
Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine.
Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious.
Everything is well thought out executed for the sake of the message.
@@mcflyjp And he's only 29 years old. We still have at least 60 more years to go..lol
Hi, friend. With love from Russia.
You are a wonderful reactor and thoughtful person. I noticed that you try to answer everyone in the comments, but I assure you that Dimash has so many fans ("Dear") that you will be bombarded with comments and you will stop keeping up with them)))))
I haven't missed one yet. I'm going through them slowly :)
Yep. DIMASH DOES DIVA DANCE!😂
Can't wait for it!
I was wondering when you would expose your special vulnerability to the fearless human genius that is Story of One Sky!
It broke me for a month.

Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022.

The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English

Please react to the Diva Dance from the 5th Element from his Bastau concert.

Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️.
Just FYI this was 3 years in the making was over 7 million to produce.
Yeah. That's crazy. But awesome that he was able to pull it off.
Imagine Dimash sang this song life in his concerts. The whole thing. (video Almaty concert part 3)
Would be amazing to see.
This masterpiece promotes understanding and peace between peoples. Our contribution will be to spread this message to everyone within our reach. Dimash has been working for peace for a long time. Your "dears" WE CHOOSE LIFE!!!!!
When he screened that I felt that in my soul. Beautiful
Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations:
(1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time);
(2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284).
(3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon;
(4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.
That's amazing about the metal of gratitude especially considering the differences in religion between the two.
@@mcflyjp This is Dimash's goal with his artistic work. Regarding religions: May they not bring divisions in their differences, but unity in their common goals!
Have you seen the LIVE rendition from his 1st "Stranger" concert held in Almaty, KZ? DQ uploaded the entire 2 & 1/2 hour concert to his official YT channel in 3 parts. You can find this song approximately 25 minutes into Part 3 and it's phenomenal especially if you've already seen this MV that will act as a great frame of reference while watching the LIVE. 😊❤
I have not seen it yet. I will definitely check it out to see how it transfers live.
@@mcflyjp everyone is always blown away at how DQ manages to actually sound better somehow but, I think it matters which one you see first...you'll understand when you watch the LIVE rendition. It's downright spiritual It's so deep!
You may see the song alive on his Almaty concert Part 3 around 25 min and enjoy..
Thanks. I'm going to do that eventually. Curious as to the live version.
With this song, you just wet your fingertips in the ocean under the name Dimash ... React further to it and millions of Dimash fans will simply blow up your channel with hundreds of thousands of views and subscriptions. Dimash sings from classical to rap, he is full of surprises, have a good swim in this vast ocean of pleasures.
Got a lot of love in my previous video too. I'm curious to see if he just said it if he is actually skillful at it
The live version is absolutely incredible.
I want to see the live version. Dimash's talent is best admired through live performance, imo.
Thanks so much for the love! I appreciate it.
Hola...reacciona a esta misma canción en vivo...te deja sin palabras
@@mcflyjpI agree, this was performed at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the next day he released this video, a massive 3 year project for Dimash, not only did he compose the music he also wrote the script for the video, this message comes from his heart. He composed War and Peace as well, I was told that it was performed in early 2020, so this is not his first time addressing the message of peace. I will look up the time stamps from the Almaty concert, he does speak prior to performing this song so you will want to turn on subtitles. Time stamps 23:15-35:45

Patty

Dimash is wonderful! My two favorite artists are Dimash and REN!
Both talented artists in different ways. Love what they do with their talents.
Subscribed for more Dimash:) he’s the best! Thanks for your reaction!
Thanks for subbing! More Dimash to come!
Lots of requests for this bill have to look into it. And put it on the list.
Thanks!
Someone linked that particular one to me so I will be taking a look at their one really soon.

More movie details:
(1) The three (children) and the two boys disputed the girl's attention;
(2) The character (which Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend;
(3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy;
(4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general;
(5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family;
(6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend;
(7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life;
(8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special;
(9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.
Yes. A bit hard to follow when I'm also worrying about the chat and other factors. There is a great story here now that I've watched on my own time. Amazing the plethora of talent on this man.
This is full on emotion and dramatic art by Dimish. It's like the saying I can't unsee it. Music with a world view message. Thanks for the reaction.
The message was a very important one. And the performance both in the acting and singing was great!
😂❤
Well just go to Dimash Diva Dance, Bastau to see Dimash do.... the Fifth Element. He does it several times in fact. Diva Dance Bastau, Diva Dance and Drunken Concubine, and Confessa Diva Dance. Bastau is very short because it is not combined. All three are during live performances.
Yes. They told me in stream he's done it. I'm doing it next!
A beautiful artistic art piece and tragic story.
I love your reaction, but you missed the storyline by not watching what was actually happening and who was who throughout the story. Please watch every frame closely and you will be blown away! Peace. 🤗🎶♥️
It's unfortunate watching those type of videos on the channel because I like to stop and break things down as I see them.
It's also not fun for the stream to just sit and watch silently because eim thoroughly paying attention.
I understand, but perhaps just watch it privately, where you don't have to worry about stopping and commenting. I promise you will have an even deeper appreciation for the video. 🤗🎶♥️

Government tried to micromanage us :(
They've been doing it forever and people don't want to even try to notice.
I'm here to support. Not my thing. The dude has a good voice. But just wanted to throw out some support
