I write a lot of articles for parents of autistic kids, but my blog itself is for people like me. Autistic people put forth a LOT of effort to teach non-autistic people how to accept us, and we are still spoken over, dismissed, etc. I get hired to ghostwrite content like that for non-autistic mom bloggers. It shouldn't be like that, but it is. Asking/telling autistic people to educate non-autistic people on how to empathize with us instead of wanting to eradicate us is like asking indigenous people to educate Americans on why Pocahontas is false.
