This series had so much potential. Fantastic premise and a few very interesting character, but they spend way too much time on subplots and arbitrary drama.
Excellent recap! You covered all the story points that I had forgotten in an easily digestible way. And your voice, seriously like butter, I’d listen to a podcast or audio book of yours any day. Thanks again! I’m all ready for season 2 now.
apologies, im way behind on comments cause of the grind. this was such a nice one. thank you for that =)) at the point i uploaded this, i had seen 3 episodes from season 2. and i still have only seen 3. im so excited to finally get some time at some point this weekend lol. hope you enjoy (or already enjoyed) season 2 =))
appreciate the kind words, thanks! especially cause this video was harder to edit than other recaps (cause the show jumps back and forth between cameras very quickly, which makes for choppier type recaps). but i tried my best to find visuals that would hang on to people while i spoke about them (and in a few cases, i slow down the clips to extend them lol), but again, thanks for the kind words!
you're speaking about this show right? "in the night season 2" - ive only seen 3 episodes far. love the cliffhangers. hoping to find time tonight to watch the rest, but im jammed up working on something right now. ahhhh i cant wait to see the rest =))
lol you're way too kind. i loooove chatting, especially about GoT and ASOIAF. unfortunately, with something liek 400 or 500 total videos now, its impossible to keep up with comments coming in across all of time. so for the most part, i just keep refreshing a video for the first few hours after uploading. so if you ever want to chat about a topic, thats the best time =)) have a great weekend!
Kevin, have you watched Click Bait yet? It's about 6 episodes. Also, the show 9 Perfect Strangers? Thank you so much for another great video!!! I hope you're well 💙
yup, i got up at 3am to watch that and put out a video that day =)) i liked it! never heard of the 9 perfect strangers though, which platform? (i only have netflix and hbo max. and ill be getting amazon once wheel of time drops). lifes a gift, thanks. hope alls well with you too, tam =))
@@bridge4 Life is such a huge gift! 9 Perfect Strangers is on Hulu. If you want my log in to watch Hulu, just let me know ☺ I can't believe I missed the Click Bait video! I know what I'll be doing today. Xx
Terenzio didn't beat up Ayaz at the airport, it was at NATO headquarters. I do like this show, but why not just fly to one of the poles, where there is no sunlight for several months.
They have no gear, food, provisions, gas or shelter at the poles. It’s a harsh environment to survive in, even if you are equipped for it. So yeah, they may avoid the sun but then they quickly die from the elements. I agree that it would be an ideal place if you had ample time to prepare and set up everything you’d need. But, on the fly, there’s no way this would be a viable, last minute decision.
oh great point! you're right. yeah i knew the room was NATO, but my dumbass thought NATO was at the airport for some reason. now that you say it and i take a step back, that doesnt make sense. but i cant specifically recall them driving there from the airport. then again, my memory stink. maybe they landed at NATO? is that what happened?
ah good counter points. that makes sense. also, i wonder how close to the north pole the closest airport is (side note. yall just made me smile. at least the penguins, leapord seals, and polar bears are chillin (hashtag dad jokes lol)
@@bridge4 From what I’ve seen on science shows, researchers that work at the poles have to be helicoptered in and only during certain months of the year. There’s actually another show on Netflix that’s “thrillery” about this kind of setup. I can’t recall the name at the moment. Also, don’t forget the penguins. The penguins are like “yeah we got a rough life but don’t you wish you were one of us now, Morgan Freeman?”
@@ParodyWhitney There are several large cities above the Arctic Circle. They would only work if it's winter in the Northern Hemisphere, which it seems to be, because they mentioned it would dark for some time at the seed depository. The biggest problem would be getting to the south pole before the sun got them when the seasons change. *******Spoiler Alert for final episode of season 2*********** Although, now that the last rat survived, maybe it's a moot point.
Hello all so I have just watched season two on Netflix of into the night first off I’m going to tell you immediately in my opinion season one was better but Ill tell you why I feel that way season two was really good when it came to the original cast in season two the original cast that we came to know and love from season one were back to their old tricks they were kicking ass and taking names so season two was good because of them but every other character in season two did nothing for me none of the soldiers none of the ambassadors the French ambassador and the the other ambassador who was shot in the head none of them did anything for the show I just felt like they didn’t need to be their because they didn’t bring anything to the show to be honest the character Gia her being mentally unstable I understood by the end of the season why that plot was made in the book it was to keep the people there in Norway I get that but all the other characters were just no good for me they weren’t acted well enough It all seemed too rushed and the only thing I kept thinking to myself was if all these other characters were gone and it was just the original cast and maybe a few soldiers in the bunker it would’ve made it better because all the actors from season one who are in season two we’re really good so that’s my final note season two was decent season one was better mainly because the original cast was the only ones who we focused on and the rest of the cast that we focused on just were not up to the standard that the original cast brought to the show but I do hope there’s a season three
interesting. as i wrote below, im only halfway through, so at this point i havent bonded with any of the new characters yet. but felipe and heremans are pretty dark, so im interested to see where it goes when things pick back up in episode 4. but i hear ya, ive also come to love the original cast. so they are the main reason that i'm enjoying season 2 =))
When the group of mom and son were at the airport, he ran into a raccoon or opossum. It was in the bag moving, which made the kid curious. Then, in the opening of S2, you can see a hot and crispy bird laying on the ground. It was either a crow or raven. I just started S2 a few minutes ago, so I still got the rest of this season to finish it 😎 Edit: first part: it wasn't at the airport, it was at the hospital where the kid found the opossum.
