i loved the twist ending. all the signs pointed to the conclusion but they also didn’t so it kept you on the edge of your seat. it was just the constant anticipation of “waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
And more episodes than the first season. No drama. Like The Good Wife and first three seasons of Suits. Work, mystery and solving problems. Love and something to work towards. But not like the last season of Suits where there was a lame merger and drama. That was the worst season.
I think maybe because she knew that he was guilty and jerry was about to get him innocent while playing dirty and even paying bribe. So she played dirty too. I mean she wanted Elliot in prison but she did it in a bad way which deserved her punishment too. Everyone was playind dirty for different reason and in the end they all got what they deserve.
The head judge took the $150 k bribe to rig the jury, and Jerry Vincent got cold feet and didn't want to go through with it. Mickey believed that Vincent had prepared a motion for a continuance, which would have delayed the trial and put it before a different jury pool than the one that was rigged. Mickey said he believed that the motion was probably in Vincent's briefcase that was stolen when he was killed. Vincent was killed to stop him from delaying the trial.
In my opinion this actors doing a pretty good job. Especially. The lead actor his doing a good job And. We need to see something different than. Suits. Law and order Hope second season is coming
Neither my roommate or I like series, more into movies. We both work crazy schedules and are rarely home at same time. This had us so stuck we were both making sure to be home by 8 to at least watch an episode. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.. Hopefully season 2 coming soon
love everything about his show, his driver, his secretary, her boyfriend, the black detective, the ex wife, all of the casting was quite well done, and of course the Lincoln lawyer, love him.
Excellent analysis of this fantastic series! I loved this series and am happy to share they are my clients and are presently deep into writing S2! You did a great job and taught me a few things I had missed and yet to realize!
just admit that you find the mexican actor attractive and was getting excited to watchhim, so obviously you will find the show soo good. you are bias. you get aroused when watching the actor. he made you want to see him more and more. you are infatuated by his presence.
The only thing I don't understand is why Vincent wanted to win the Elliott case so bad that he would rig a jury. Thats pretty extreme. You win some, you lose some. Why was this case any different?
Such a clever show... Mickey convinced us the viewers his client was innocent.. It rapidly moved us to know mickey knew something else.. How it unfolded was a work of art... Absolutely brilliant show
Okay so Jerry found out what the judge was doing and the judge tied up that loose end Trevor had the judge in his pocket and she took it into her own hands to kill Jerry and Trevor didn’t know. she was getting paid by Trevor she rigged the jury for a not guilty it was all about money for her
@@vitrasi3002 Yeah I had watch a few other videos to understand. The lady judge was accepting bribes to rig a jury for a verdict but Trevor later grew a conscience and wanted to back out of the deal. The judge was having non of that and killed him to tie up loose ends. I think i have to watch the series again, I don't get why Trevor put that guy in the mental hospital, it seemed like he was a big help to the case.
She was taking bribes to rig jurors in high profile cases as a side hustle. Jerry was filing for a continuance, which would have prevented her from pushing juror #7 through and fulfilling her bribe. That would have been bad for her side hustle so she killed him.
❤❤ loved the show and cant wait for season 2.. but i have a doubt, as i recall, trevor elliot was never shown in a half sleeve shirt, the tattoo shown at the end was very close to the elbow.. and the hair cut or hairdo or the hair style whatever you call it plus the the body style of the man shows as it was trevor elliot. That is what i guess.. we’ll get to find out in season 2
But that's not Trevor, Trevor was shot down. Three shots and he died almost right away. Trevor has no tattoo. The actual person shown is the original killer of the prostitute in the Jesus Menández case
Doubt that was Trevor. I thought he died after getting shot a bunch by that lady. If he is alive, he’d have a long recovery ahead of him. The one dirty detective knows who did it, which is why he set up the one innocent guy to go to prison for it.
@@jarrodskufcagaming5203 No, it's not him. Didn't you see him got shot by the widow in front of the press? Also, the killer at the end has a tattoo, his tattoo was foreshadowed at the beginning of the series too.
After reading all of the Lincoln Lawyer books, I couldn’t help but watch. Very well done indeed. Connelly and Kelly; how could it be anything but great…
I didn’t understand why did that lady Judge Holder murdered Jerry Vincent? And secondly why was that jury guy McSwinny absent on day of jury selection? And what happened to that alleged bribe money which was missing from Jerry’s bank account?
Jerry wanted to file for more time in the trial and that would have messed with the plans of Holder because the rigged whitness would not be there. Mcsweeney was absent because of the note that Mickey wrote anonimously to the judge, because he knew that the judge would talk about the note with Holder and she could pull Mcsweeney out before they could have arrested him and then found her. The bribe money was from Holder or someone working with her.
1. Her name was Gloria Dayton, not Gloria Days. Her nickname was Glory Days. You kept conflating the two. 2. You didn't mention Maggie's case and Micky's connection to it at all. That was a huge part of the season and a big aspect of the ending. 3. It's weird that you said "I saw it as..." at 7:36. It's a literal, actual framing device used by the writers, not a matter of your personal interpretation. That's like seeing a flashback and saying "I saw it as a way of looking into the main character's memory." Yes, and water is wet. Same thing with saying "I believe [the ending] will set up a second season." That's really obvious and basically factual, not a matter of your own personal belief. Overall, weird video. Not good.
"She was taking bribes to rig jurors in high profile cases as a side hustle. Jerry was filing for a continuance, which would have prevented her from pushing juror #7 through and fulfilling her bribe. That would have been bad for her side hustle so she killed him" is what another comment suggests

Great story except for the motive behind killing Jerry. Judge killed him for... money?!? That's my only gripe but other than that, I enjoyed the thriller!
Unfortunately the whole thing unraveled and the ending seemed rushed and very choppy. Like they ran out of episodes to close the stories and had to end it. The Neve Campbell storyline was terribly edited. It added nothing, just a time filler. The woman killing the tech bro , and the bribed juror dying so conveniently was very dumb and anticlimactic.
Gotta agree with you there. The show often fell at times and dragged unnecessary scenes just to fill the time and some choice of camera angles was strange as well.
Very well written and directed. Only part I didn't agree with was Mickey's decision to keep client attorney confidentiality after he found out the truth about Elliot. I'm no lawyer, but this agreement should not trump over the principle of justice. Trevor paying for his crimes weighs heavier in the scales of justice than the agreement. Principles provide the BASIS for laws, rules. That's why there are laws. Principle = human life is valuable. Law = wear a seatbelt. Principle = every human deserves justice. Rule = client attorney confidentiality (to protect the client which paves a way for him to get the judgment he deserves) Trevor no longer merits the agreement because his actions deserve punishment and therefore the truth needs to be exposed. Mickey chose rule over principle.

Straight trash. No wonder Netflix is going belly up
nope, didn't like it. Some dialog was ok, but didn't like the protagonist or the actors for Lorna and her boyfriend Cisco.

the judge being the one who ordered the murder of jerry didn’t make sense. maybe i need to rewatch. like what was her motive?

Could u recommend some detective drama ?
I still don't understand why Judge Halder tried to have Micky killed, and the thing with the tainted juror, Jerry, and so on. What was her motivation?
