C5 Chevrolet Corvette: 6 Speed, 2003 Anniversary Edition

In this video we feature Rick's beautiful 2003 C5 Anniversary Edition Corvette. Check out the cool additions to his car and how great the 5.7 liter V8 drives and sounds. This Vette is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission. Manual transmissions are no longer available on Corvettes starting with the C8, making Corvettes like Rick's rarer and rarer as the years go by.

That is a corvette made in the anniversary year of corvettes but that is definitely NOT the anniversary edition.

All 2003 are anniversary editions, but the anniversary package is an ordered option and is only red and shale in color.

Nice car but not the 50th aniversary. The 50th was almost a maroon color plus the steering wheel and headrest will have the aniversary logo on them. They all were made automatic.

Yes Vincent you are technically right. Year wise every 2003 is an anniversary production vehicle. So all 2003 are anniversary Corvettes and then there are the special edition anniversary Corvettes for that year. Just like the upcoming C8 Z06. My dealer conversation went something like this, 'All 2023 C8 Z06's will be anniversary vehicles, but do you want the special anniversary edition or the regular one.' At the end of the day, I just want the car.
So when you say that they were all automatic in 2003, you are talking about the base 2003 Corvette right? Did they make anniversary edition Z06's in 2003? As far as I know no Z06 Corvette was automatic until the C7. Please correct me if I am wrong and thanks for watching and for your comment.

This car isn't a true 50th Anniversary Limited Edition.
I own a 2003 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Corvette "Special Red". I have only 1,806 original miles SHOWROOM CONDITION Z06 6SPD manual .

Hey K Aguilera, thanks for watching and commenting. Had an 02 Z06 in red, and I put 1,800 miles in less than a month lol. Loved the car. Was like a go cart. Light and fast. Congrats man, sounds like u have a real gem there. If u ever think about selling drop us an email. We buy cars all the time. A friend just bought one w 18,000 miles. Anyway thanks for your explanation. I was under the impression that all 2003's were anniversary editions because of the year. But if I read u correctly the Anniversary Limited Editions are as you described in your other comment. What is the difference in market value? Thanks
