What I like about my C-5 is that you can put down the windows and not have to deal with much wind turbulence at high speeds. With the top off it's not bad, but you are still clearing out the cockpit of all dirt. It's a great car to drive. It handles like a dream and stops on a dime. You never worry about not having enough power to pass. I leave the traction control on and just slam it. Without that, you will smoke the tires at 50 mph, and I have the tall rear gears. The great thing is that you can pick up a 2000 and up model for under $15k. The L-S1 will run for 200k miles for sure.
I still like your reviews except for the camera angle staring right at you. No offense, but when the car is in motion, I want to see the view from a driver, passenger, or rear seat passenger view if applicable, seeing the dash and out the front window prospective. Your videos would be some of the best on youtube if you did that. What a shame. I owned a 2003 version of this C5 and I really wanted to see it driving from the camera angle I like with your good review. Damn.
@ 9:17 Bugatti Veyron GS , Ferrari 348 TS ,Porsche 911T... Corvette was part of an elite group to have the Targa top. It’s def a great feature to have.

Ive had my 2001 for ten years. I finally had to spend a few thousand to get the Rear main case replaced for leaking and because its a torque tube and not just a drive shaft, the labor is insane haha... but definitely worth it. I dont think i could ever sell my C5 and still sleep at night.
No. It normally goes (Front to back) Engine, Transmission, Driveshaft, differential. The shifter is at the end of the transmission. In the corvette, it goes Engine, Torque Tube (driveshaft) Transmission, Diff

Manual Corvette is the only way to go👍🏼 C5 body style is still fresh and looks good today
