Great Review! I’ve had mine for almost 6 months here in the U.S. Its honestly very interesting watching reviews now outside of the U.S. and watching them be in the place I was 6 months ago. This is honestly very similar to my review and I will say that this device is so different that 2 weeks is not enough to really integrate it into your life. I’ve used mine every day for the past 6 months and am so happy I kept it. It’s definitely not a device for everyone. Great stuff, subscribed!
Thank you. It’s crazy to think you guys have had this for half a year already! You make a good point too - my opinions keep changing by the hour, and I’m sure if I kept this it would grow on me over time. Glad to hear you’re enjoying yours!
@@djmarkusrosenbaum3609 At this point its virtually a MacBook replacement. On a daily basis I use it for productivity, checking email, (on it right now), working, also watching shows/movies of course. Basically like a combination of a computer and a Tv/Movie theater.
I've been working a lot with the mirror display and I really did not notice the lag you mentioned. So after digging a lot and doing some tests. It actually uses WIFI + bluetooth (creates like a private network between both (?) )but also uses actual internet because if you do not connect to internet it can also work but then indeed has a lag. My cut is that once you are in the same network and if you have a good connection + a good router, there is no lag at all.
That could explain it, since I don’t think I’ve seen many other people mention this issue. Never had any issues with my WIFI before, but equally it may be that I’ve ever “pushed” it until now. I’ll look into this more. Thanks for sharing!
I think he was talking about 180 videos.. which for sport would require a high frame rate to stop motion blur.. and at least 8k to make sure draw distance is clear enough to see the whole play area..( think about how big a football field is) . On top of this if there are compression artifacts that is amplified inside the headset.. especially with fast moving objects… so we end up needing a very high bit rate… much much higher than standard RUclips.. this is totally possible.. but streaming networks will have to be onboard.. and people will need to use 5g or fast broadband..
3D sure (like the content you can watch on Disney+), but immersive video still requires a slightly more complicated setup, eg most sets are usually a mess from behind, which is fine because the audience never sees that on screen, but introducing an immersive element where the viewer can turn their heads and see what’s around them means you have to be a bit more careful about hiding the mess behind the scenes, plus it’ll probably need a bit of clever editing which can’t easily be done live. Not saying it’s impossible (Apple have obviously managed to create some stellar immersive content), I just reckon it’ll take longer than most people think for it to become mainstream, especially given the track record of most sports
@@sukhdeepsm actually I looked into it and I get it.. it's not just two video feeds because you can move. Yes I can image it might be more data, I hope they can find a compression to handle any extra data.

What are you using it for on a Daily basis?

3D streaming is like watching two videos at once on youtube, it's easily done

let me guess... you were most suprised about the price.
Haha not really tbh - I've gotten 'used' to the price tag from hearing everyone else on the internet talk about it
3d requires only double the data.. it's not that hard at all !!!

Yeah, that was the realisation I also came to. The future is certainly promising though 🤞
