@@DallasAutoDiag It will change to near zero within a few seconds of reaching 30mph given you are traveling straight. If it doesn't change, you have a problem that will require additional work. Either battery disconnect for seconds followed by zero point calibration per TSB process; or, there's a components or wiring problem like you had already suspected.
@@84combat this vehicle was driven for couple of months with the light on. I assumed at some point driver drove streight on 30mph. We end up changing the part and i told the owner to drive tge vehicle for a couple of days and see if that was gonna calibrate the sensor. It did not and the rwplacement part was junk yard one. We are waiting for new one althought its like $420 at the dealer. Thanks for the info and by tge way i assume this driving procedure is done if you don't have an advanced scanner that can do tge calibration.
@@DallasAutoDiag I was trying to communicate that the steering angle pid value of 1150 degrees is not abnormal after a key cycle ...so don't consider that value as suspect unless you've already driven in a straight line at 30mph. Why the VSC lamp is on without a DTC? ...that is a separate issue.

The steering angle data will show 1150 after each key off on cycle until the vehicle is driven in a straight line at 25-30mph.
For how long? Time or distance?

Hello- did you ever determine the issue or were you ever able to get the VSC light off? I have an 08' Avalon and the same light is on.
