Very nice TR! Well done! The stabilization of the iPhone X is great (I can confirm as I film on iPhone X too). I flew on OA Q400 on ATH-KGS route and found the service fantastic for such a short flight. The prices are not always cheap especially on summer season, but I agree that connection in ATH is efficient. Thumbs up!
Many thanks for your comment mate, it‘s always good to share so many experiences! :) I am very satisfied with the video quality of the iPhone X and I think it is much more handy for filming tripreports than a real camera. Indeed, the flights were not that cheap but considering the fast and comfortable transport they are worth the price! :)

Super Video, Olympic ist ja eine sehr interessante Airline ...also sowieso schonmal gut. Außerdem sah die ganze Szenerie auch sehr gut aus.

Hello CSpotting! A very beautiful video as always! I love to fly with Olympic because of the legroom. As about inflight service, for such a short flight, I don't know if it safe, cause many people will keep tray table open during landing but its a plus that they offer complimentary snacks. A3 and OA have usually very clean and new looking airplanes and I like that as well. I think also that Dash8 Q400 is quieter than ATRs. Btw Aegean Airlines was involved and mostly paid for the construction of the new Terminal in Paros.
Hi, thanks for the really kind comment! :) I am not sure about the open tray tables, maybe it is a risk but I didn't have that feeling onboard... A3 and OA are fantastic - I would not hesitate to choose them again! We are really sorry for the late answer, the last weeks have been absolutely busy… Unfortunately our inactivity will continue for some weeks as we will travel to many different destinations, but after that we hope to be back better than ever. :)

Interessant, mal ein Tripreport von einer eher kleineren Fluggesellschaft zu sehen, hat mich echt überrascht, dass sie auf solch einem kurzen Flug trotzdem noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten angeboten haben. Danke auf jeden Fall fürs Teilen dieses ausführlichen Flugreports und die wunderschönen Aufnahmen während des Approaches auf Paros!

The Paros airport may seem small but it recently replaced the old one which was really small! Btw Great vid!!
Yeah I know, we have seen the old airport too, it is extremely small! :D Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love these small airports, flying to and from Paros was amazing, it's just an extreme contrast compared to airports like Athens! :) Thank you very much for watching and commenting mate!
We fly Olympic from Athens to Skiathos last year en route to Alonissos. I can highly recommend their short island flights.

It is not air... 7 years ago was one of the best airlines in the world!!It had boeing 747 airbus a340 but it has economical problems...

Ja, das stimmt, die Dash fühlt sich anders an als ein Jet, aber auf solchen kurzen Flügen finde ich das überhaupt nicht problematisch. So ein Inselhopping macht wirklich Spaß und der Ausblick ist toll! Freut mich sehr, dass auch dieser Tripreport dir gefallen hat, vielen Dank für deinen Support! :) Es kommen auch noch viele weitere Tripreports!
Klar, auf kurzen Flügen ist das ok, aber ich würde mir keinen Air Baltic oder Luxair Flug damit antuen, da die ja für ihre langen Dash ops bekannt sind... 🤔 Als ich im März die Dash geflogen bin hatte ich sie als relativ unruhiges Flugzeug in Erinnerung, was aber wahrscheinlich auch an der Flugstrecke gelegen haben mag (VIE -INN sind ja Berge pur 😝). Allgemein bin ich eher der Jet Fan, aber für so einen Ausblick darf es meinetwegen auch Prop sein... 😊 Unterstütze euch doch immer wieder gerne, eure Videos sind ja auch gut 😉 Bin nach wie vor auf den ST Tripreport gespannt, weil es nicht so viele detaillierte auf YT gibt... 😏
Ja, das stimmt, so ein längerer Dash FLug kann sicher schon auf die Nerven gehen... Als nächster Tripreport kommt wahrscheinlich DUB-DUS mit Aer Lingus, dann TUI auf DUS-FNC und danach Germania, kann sich aber sicher auch nochmal ändern! :)

Ach ja...Paros...War schon 3/4 Jahre nicht mehr dort :-/
Damals gab es noch den kleinen Flughafen östlich von dem Neuen. 800m Piste, ein Terminalgebäude nicht viel größer als unser Haus und noch die kleinen Dash100. Das waren noch Zeiten... :D
Sonst natürlich ein tolles Video und Ja die Vibrationen der Dash kann ich bestätigen. Musste bei meinem LGW Flug immer meinen Becher festhalten, da der sonst über den Tisch wanderte :D
Wirklich eine wunderschöne Insel, die Zeit dort haben wir sehr genossen! :) Am alten Airport sind wir auch einmal vorbeigekommen, wirklich sehr knuffig, inzwischen hat man dort die Landebahn mit Fahrbahnmarkierung „durchgestrichen“, so wird wohl keiner aus Versehen dort landen! :D
Ja, das mit den Vibrationen ist schon auffällig, da die Dash aber nur auf kürzeren Flügen zum Einsatz kommt, finde ich das unproblematisch. Die auf jeden Fall besten Dank fürs Anschauen und deinen ausführlichen Kommentar, freut mich, wenn dir das Video gefallen hat! :)
Was the flight in any way more uncomfortable on this plane compared to a 737 or A320? Bumpy or unstable? Apart from the vibrations. Im afraid to fly on one im afraid I will get motion sick due to it being smaller and a turbo prop.
First of all, thanks a lot for watching and commenting and sorry for the late reply! I personally enjoyed the flight, it was shakier than on an A320 but I always felt save during the flight. I cannot really say if a turboprop has a higher chance for getting motion sick...

This is truly the kind of video I was looking for, I showed this to my wife and she really liked it a lot.
We are traveling to Greece this July and visiting Paros. How was your connection from Athens to Paros and back ? Was it easy , did you have to show your passport or did they find your name already in their system?
Thanks for commenting again, I am really sorry for the late reply, the last weeks have been very busy for us... The flights were without any problems, we checked in online so we had to show the ticket and passport at the airport. As we were flying Paros-Athens-Samos, we had a connection at Athens and even though our flight from Paros to Athens was slightly delayed, Olympic managed everything perfectly and quickly so we could still catch our connection flight! :)

Was it easy collecting your luggage from Paros to Athens ?
Well, they handled the baggage from one plane into the next one, we did not have to care about this. They attached a "fast transit" tag to the baggage so they could easily see that they need to hurry with this one! :)

Let's have your opinion why is was a pathetic landing. I assume you must be a pilot. It looked pretty windy to me
@@timfly767 it doesn’t take a pilot to grade a landing, and this seemed more like a crash landing! Don’t feel offended that somebody thought this was not the perfect flight of the century!
It would be a much more satisfying experience to watch your little video clip, if every sentence you wrote, was not a self congratulatory pat on the back!! Frankly, it’s over the top, making the entire experience, that of an amateur recording!
Stop using exclamation marks after almost every sentence! They're not necessary!
