Just did this job on my Eclipse Spyder GT 3.0L, the rear valve cover gasket and tube seals were rock hard and were original 21 years old. Did those, spark plugs, wires. Do EVERYTHING you possible can on these Mitsubishi v6 while the intake plenum is off.
I really couldnt see what you were talking about. Its kind of like i came into the middle of a class too. Like there is a alot i missed walking into this.
I have the same car but I need to replace the negative cable. I can't find where the end part that supposed to be on the engine block is, any pointers?

How long does it take to change the automatic tranny on this car without a lift? I’m guessing well over 10 hours!
