if you never driven on snowy trails like that....they are very slick. i almost slid off the side of a mountain on Colorado trails that looked just like that
Someone gave you some bad info. You can get the edge in fwd as well as awd. Edge is great on slippery roads and in deep snow. I definitely wouldn't be taking mine wheeling though. Not enough clearance for any serious trails. Logging roads and dirt trails are about as far as I'll push mine. That could change with some proper wheels and tires though. I'd like to see a built edge.
There is a lift kit for 1.5". With better tires and the 2.7 awd it could do ok on trail roads and dunes. I think you might need more like 3-5" is what you might need if possible for anything a wragler could try
Super soft course. This isn't off roading, obviously. Teetertotter aside, (it had rubberized grip Matt's) the off roading was as basic as backing out of my driveway. What a joke. I also understand this suv isn't meant to trail riding or offroading...but this video from Ford doesn't exactly show much of what it can and should be able to do

First one here!!! cool!!! but yeah this is like definitely some test track BS i can smell it from NJ lol
Lol you think so??
I take my 2017 3.5 in the bush and hill climbing and it does great but limited clearance. Its definitely not a land cruiser.
