WONDER ❄ | December 18, 2023 | What a treat to make a stop on the True Journey which was before I found YWA so every practice from this journey is a new one for me. This was a great stretch for the upper body, and I rounded it out with a few cat-cows and cobras to help some tenderness from yesterday's core ritual 😅🙏

Started this video with the sun barely peeking over the horizon, and by the time it ended, my room was filled with the mild early morning sun. I had a dog pushing a pillow against me, an 8 year old practicing competitive yoga with me (until I kindly noted that it wasn't a contest), and another dog and child resting nearby. Even with all that, the focus required of this practice put me in such a great place in my mind. When it was over, I rolled up my mat and looked at my 5 year old, who was telling me about her dreams last night and rolling back and forth on the couch in an impromptu cross-legged happy baby pose. I can't remember the last time I mindlessly rolled around like that, but hope to find myself doing it soon.
"Where attention goes, energy flows.......". This quote is now on my bathroom mirror so that I can remind myself every day to live in the positive present and look forward to the positive possibilities. Old habits are hard to break, but finding my peace on the mat is getting me there. Thank you.
Wow!...So thoughtful and lovely with intent mindset. i enjoyed this, though had some wobbles trying all the poses here for Wonder Day 19:22:23✅.... i showed up, gave it my all,😅🧘🏾.....lovely stretches and slow with less intense...i will give this a go again my new fave💫... feeling really refreshed. I think that Adriene and her team are responsible for preventing thousands of headaches through this yoga program! I'd been getting them nightly for a while and whoosh ... an asana a day makes the head feel okay :)
Adriene! I am currently trying to recover from a neck injury which has turned into chronic pain. I now do yoga with you every day since it is the only thing really helping me reduce the pain, and feel like my normal happy self again. THANK YOU for showing up for us

Thank you. I've had problems with balancing on one leg (eagle pose); today I did it!! Not as elegantly as Adriene, but I did it. Instead of saying, thinking 'I can't do this', I said 'I just haven't done this yet', and now I have. Positive thoughts do lead to positive actions. Namaste.
so true..my negative self talk..constantly doubting myself..was making me so anxious could work at all for days..finally am getting back into it and this was first practice after a while..thank you adrienne just whaf i needed❤❤
During this practice I realized that there was a great deal of unconscious (until today), pessimistic thoughts going around my head - regarding exams and interviews coming up, but also regarding things I do - or can't do - in yoga. I realized that due to my pessimism, I wasn't doing my best: thinking that you will most probably fail can make you lazy. And, finally, I realized the incredible power of those quiet inner voices, reflected, as Adriene says, on the yoga mat: During each practice this month, I tell myself "next time try to be more mindful / move slower at the beginning of a balance pose / don't push yourself more than your body needs", and this tiny reminder-to-self actually works and each day my practice gets better and better (in my scale of things). On the other hand, quitting the self-judge on my difficulty to do certain things - like the eagle pose today - allows me to benefit from this difficulty, rather than be hurt (emotionally/mentally) by it. Today, instead of thinking "oh what the hell I cant interlace my hands together", or "my foot can come around my calf", I said to myself, look, I'm going to find my limits and push there, not beyond. And I did! I stayed in the eagle pose longer than ever, and while "simplified" it was very very challenging for my body. In the end I felt amazing, better than I have felt after any other practice before. Thank you so much, Adriene! And anyone reading this, I hope that your little voices are a little bit more positive today as well :)
I was just thinking about how my 'evil' voice is getting quieter each and every day!!! I hope by the end of the month, she is replaced by my strong independent loving voice, that has just always been drowned out by her evil twin.
Thanks for sharing this!!! I'm so frustrated after doing this, balancing poses are so difficult for me. It is really easy to let that voice of pessimism and anger get loud. What you said is a good reminder!

m choosing this practice today as my thots / energy low - m mourning for loss of dear friend whom has been such a pillar big cry in a long time and feeling poorly finally able to pick or rather drop onto mat - choosing to take a pause inwards m grateful and thankful for adriene (like a friend guru presence and light) / ywa team namaste to all practising and may all thots / energy flow with ease

Like how she said here at 14:07-14:35 and 16:40-16:55 Notice when we start to bind ourselves also notice when people put you in a tight bind or compromised position. How do you feel and react. And don't label yourself just notice. Good stuff on and off the mat We had our first almost full week of freezing weather. A little bit of snow. Stopped now. I'm glad most people aren't used to driving in a lot of snow around here. I already saw a few wrecks in town yesterday. Can't believe tomorrow's the 20th already 🌟 🎄🎉 ♡♡♡♡

I’ve been tidying my room and workspace today and starting to get half finished projects completed, so this practice was perfectly timed. It’s so easy to let “clutter” develop in my mind, whether it’s holding on to something that annoyed me or having too many ideas floating around, so this was really lovely!
I'm enjoying all of the practices I have completed so far, but TRUE has been the eye opener. I've shifted and am feeling calmer, less in a rush and letting things 'just be'. Loving you yogis. Namaste 🙏💛

I was thinking “I’m doing it!” So excited for this journey and how much stronger I’m becoming. This series is blessing me daily. It’s my favorite part of my day!
Today I have completed a year of yoga with Adriene. I started the first day of lockdown in the UK and have surprised myself that I have maintained a regular yoga practice. It was slightly harder in the period when we were not locked down, but in that year, I have only missed 20 days! WooHoo!
This practice was next level for me. As I continue watching these videos I discover more and more about my body and mind, but today was just incredible. The binding and releasing, feeling the blood rush back to my hands and head was the coolest and most calming experience. I am so happy that I’ve finally begun practicing yoga and mindfulness together in harmony.
The beauty about your teaching is that it's not about pushing yourself to achieve but to be true to yourself and enjoy the journey. I'm learning a lot from that. I'm not beating myself up that I'm four days behind because I was sick or grabbed a luxurious rare lie in with my husband. Finding what feels good ❤️🙏
Wow. I had not done this sequence in over four years since I did the True 30-day journey. Quite a nice way to start some holiday time off. Wonder day 18, on the 19th. 1171 days.

Adriene, a few days ago I thought to myself "wow, today's practice was a game changer." Then the next day I thought again, "this is changing the game!" And I thought it again the next day and today! I keep learning more about myself, and the way I want to live my life, every day. Today was a little challenging for my mind but it was a great one. One side is more stable for balancing than the other so I will work on that. I have been feeling incredible since I started 30 days True. More energy, more love, less worry and more presence and awareness. I am so grateful for you Adriene, this practice and journey. The way each practice builds on the previous is mind blowing. I had multiple epiphanies during this practice today. Thoughts really do create your reality. Becoming aware, really aware, of your thoughts is a game changer.

I realized something about my thought. And I'm so glad because now I can correct it, I put a lot of limits on what I think I can have or do in my life. I was looking at houses in Colorado and thought, "oh well, I'll never be able to afford that." And I'm right, thinking like that? I won't. DOP! This was so yummy. I tried to do most of it with my eyes closed as to not keep track of the way I'm "supposed" to be doing it and to really take my time to feel when my body felt stable enough to transition, etc. It was really nice feeling the internal dance. It's been some time since I've allowed my self to go there. I've noticed my everyday movements become more authentic again as well. So grateful for this community 🔥💜

I’ve been tidying my room and workspace today and starting to get half finished projects completed, so this practice was perfectly timed. It’s so easy to let “clutter” develop in my mind, whether it’s holding on to something that annoyed me or having too many ideas floating around, so this was really lovely!

I'm enjoying all of the practices I have completed so far, but TRUE has been the eye opener. I've shifted and am feeling calmer, less in a rush and letting things 'just be'.

Today I have completed a year of yoga with Adriene. I started the first day of lockdown in the UK and have surprised myself that I have maintained a regular yoga practice. It was slightly harder in the period when we were not locked down, but in that year, I have only missed 20 days! WooHoo!
What an awesome practice! I love when she says, "Look down into the pond."
This practice was next level for me. As I continue watching these videos I discover more and more about my body and mind, but today was just incredible. The binding and releasing, feeling the blood rush back to my hands and head was the coolest and most calming experience. I am so happy that I’ve finally begun practicing yoga and mindfulness together in harmony.

The beauty about your teaching is that it's not about pushing yourself to achieve but to be true to yourself and enjoy the journey. I'm learning a lot from that. I'm not beating myself up that I'm four days behind because I was sick or grabbed a luxurious rare lie in with my husband. Finding what feels good ❤️🙏

Day 19 🙌 Today felt like 5 minutes! My mind and body loved it.
Plus, today I noticed that I have more space in my shoulders/pecs, I can point my knuckles to the sky while dropping my heart forward!

Adriene, a few days ago I thought to myself "wow, today's practice was a game changer." Then the next day I thought again, "this is changing the game!" And I thought it again the next day and today! I keep learning more about myself, and the way I want to live my life, every day. Today was a little challenging for my mind but it was a great one. One side is more stable for balancing than the other so I will work on that. I have been feeling incredible since I started 30 days True. More energy, more love, less worry and more presence and awareness. I am so grateful for you Adriene, this practice and journey. The way each practice builds on the previous is mind blowing. I had multiple epiphanies during this practice today. Thoughts really do create your reality. Becoming aware, really aware, of your thoughts is a game changer.

I realized something about my thought. And I'm so glad because now I can correct it, I put a lot of limits on what I think I can have or do in my life. I was looking at houses in Colorado and thought, "oh well, I'll never be able to afford that." And I'm right, thinking like that? I won't. DOP!

As I slayed down on my mat at the end of this practice today, my cat came and sat on my belly and started kneeding. I love that.

I am so grateful to Adriene, Benji and the whole team behind them. These daily videos make it so much easier to stick with it and do what's bliss for my body & mind. 💟
This was so yummy. I tried to do most of it with my eyes closed as to not keep track of the way I'm "supposed" to be doing it and to really take my time to feel when my body felt stable enough to transition, etc. It was really nice feeling the internal dance. It's been some time since I've allowed my self to go there.
I've noticed my everyday movements become more authentic again as well.
So grateful for this community 🔥💜
