Hey Patrick. I have followed your wild camping videos for a while, and even "compared notes" with you with regard to old gear. After many years of wild camping, my buddy (72) and I (68) head off tomorrow to Greece to climb Mount Olympus, and in July to climb Mt. Fuji. So here's to us old guys who still love tent life, who thrill at the mention of a trek, and who enjoy tipping a pint or three to salute both comradeship and life itself. We will tip one for you too! Your aim in life is to find someone who looks at you admirably and lovingly like Pat looks at a freshly pulled pint. 🍻🤣 Good video again Pat. I enjoy watching your channel. 🍻👍🏻
Perfectly timed video Pat. Have just spent the day building an 14x8' shed in my best pals garden, to be a traditional style pub shed, inspired by yours! Thanks for the excellent videos and your positive fun attitude 😁
That reminds me of a beer commercial here in Canada a few years ago. There were four adjoining properties where each of the guys built a garden shed in the adjoining corner. Then they showed the interiors.... They were all joined into one big building, and everyone was drinking and listening to music, and there were gorgeous serving girls. So one of the guys says to his wife "Just going out to do some work in the shed, love."
i love having a pint in my garden, in all weathers, in front of my Chiminea, burning wood, and listening to music. I do nobody any harm, and i enjoy my night.......and its just a short walk home hahaha. Loving the vids Pat. Keep em coming.
Love your pub shed, the build videos, and the setup of it and all your vlogs from the pub shed. It is just a relaxing talk. Thanks for posting Patrick.
Patrick this was perhaps my favorite pub shed video. In fact, I just shared it with my very best school days mates. You get right to the heart of real friendship and drinking is right at the core of all the great times we enjoyed (and still enjoy). I only wish my mates lived closer so we could raise a pint (or a few) more often. Absolutely love your videos and your genuine perspective on life. Cheers my friend !!!
Hi there, yes one video I had planned for months, such a major part of my life having a drink with friends, had some great times, and pleased to say still going out but usually in the afternoon now ,a sign of getting older...... all the best Pat 😊
Pat, love the way you sink those pints as you tell the stories...a true man of experience! I love a drink...a drink helps to lubricate the wheels on the journey of life...the ups and downs! Moderation during the downs is essential...looking forward to the next camp!
Absolute class Patrick,a man of my own heart ❤️. Beer ,camping , goes hand in hand ,we have a static in the lakes and I’m over 60 and still compete in running races ,including fell races ,just keep it in moderation ie get the balance right .drinking is a great pastime 👍
Being a drinker most of my life this video totally resonated with me, thoroughly enjoyed it, and did partake in a few drinks myself whilst watching. All the best pat, and look forward to the next one, cheers.
Hi Patrick, it's a good to see you back in the pub shed. it reminds me when I was in the pub trade 1969 to 1983. very enjoyable but very tying. it was while in the pub that I built and learned how to program. looking forward th your next video. Ray
Smashing video Pat. Brought all my memories back of trying to get served in pubs in Liverpool. As long as we behaved we had no problems and we were welcomed back. Looking forward to your next video, cheers Andy
Pat,, there’s an old saying “A bit of what you fancy does you good!” I wholeheartedly agree. I love pubs and I love beer just like you👍 You and I are the same age within a few months, what you’ve described is how a lot of our generation have grown up! Pubs and beer are in our souls and hopefully we are able to enjoy this great pastime for many more years!!🍺 I raise a glass to you and everyone out there who loves it as well!!❤️ Great video as always, cheers Pat! Paul
Thanks Paul, so many of us have grown up in a similar style, with the pub and beer being the main central characters . So many happy memories, alot of them with a pint in your hand, and friends around you.......all the best Pat
What a treat on a June Sunday evening! Loved the photo montage. Cheers Pat, just poured one myself so that neither of us are drinking alone :) (I also enjoy the odd drink alone from time to time)
You're a man after my own heart Pat. A few pints now and then washes away your cares and clears the mind I find. Another great video, Thanks for the chat.
I developed a strong alcohol intolerance in my 30s and can’t drink at all now without getting unwell. Even a small amount will send my heart racing, skin itching and give me a stabbing headache. I was never a big drinker so it’s not something I miss terribly, but seeing how others enjoy their drink sociably makes me a bit jealous sometimes. But it’s good to hear your story and I’ll raise a virtual pint to a life enhanced by beer 🍻
Superb pub shed Pat, it reminds me of one of the old pubs in this area, such as the Little Plough in Doncaster, the Scarbrough Arms in Tickhill or some of those other old pubs in Sheffield like the Gardeners Arms. Nice to see you got hold of one of those lovely pub tables. Cheers 🍻
Glad you enjoyed it, and yes I modelled it on the old traditional pubs I love so much, still a few traditional pubs left in Sheffield, but not many…….all the best Pat
Brilliant.....perfectly summed up what a pint is all about, my first pint was a double maxim, vaux brewery was my local brewery, then out with the lads on labbats beer , LCL , and anything else we could get at 16 , moving on to an IPA....off the drink now but appreciate totally where your coming from cheers 🍻 and all the best marra 😀 👍 🏕
Hi there yes followed the same path drinking for many years, starting to take things a bit easier now, the no drink days are a bit flat....but that,s getting older for you..... all the best Pat 👍
Last summer a good customer stopped by and handed me a bottle of Glenfiddich 14 as a thank you. Now, when notification of a new Pat D video pops up, I grab the bottle and a glass and have a few drops with you.
No matter what sort of video you upload, camping, pub or a chat. Love them all. I just enjoy watching you whatever you are doing. I live a only a few miles from you always said to my friends... I hope I bump into Sheffield Pat one day, haha that is what you are known as in my friends group, sheffield Pat. Keep up the pint talks, camping and chatting to us! Much love!
Absolutely fantastic another brilliant video from Patrick and I 100 percent agree whith him if your healthy and fairly fit and you enjoy a thew beers on the weekend or whenever you want then thats fine no ones perfect Just enjoy life
Great vlog, you are right it’s about moderation and responsible drinking. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a few pints 🍺 love your home bar best I have seen. 👍
Brilliant video. I'm in my own Pub Shed in Toronto, Canada watching your video as I have a pint or two. Cheers! Stay healthy and keep enjoying a drink! I love using my pub shed as an office during the day to work remotely in my computer job and then relaxing after work after I spend some time with my family. I ordered 3 hand pulled pumps from England to kit out my shed based on your videos.
Hi Dave you will have a great set up when you get your hand pulls, for me its the best beer there is, recently been drinking various bottled beers and I have not enjoyed them. Should have a new video out tommorrow, bit of a christmas special and review of the year, and its from the Pub Shed and we will be sharing a few pints......thanks Pat
Popping down the pub for a drink with my mates used to play such a big part of my social life back in the 80's and 90's, and it was the same with my mum and dad and the rest of my family, have lots of good memories from my childhood playing in the pub beer garden, getting a bag of crisps and a soft drink of some sort. But how times have changed - just about every pub I can remember from my younger days have gone - closed down long ago. Dozens and dozens of them, all gone. And none of them have been replaced. And all of them were a hive of activity every night of the week just two or three decades ago. Such a massive shift in our way of life in just the span of a generation.
Yes things have changed, luckily you can search out some pubs that have not changed too much, just quiet pubs for drinking and chatting...... all the best Pat 😊
Love your channel Pat. I’m an Aussie who only recently started discovering my Yorkshire roots. Simply enjoy listening to the accent and the topics of conversation in your pub shed. Was hoping you could point me in the direction of a standard Yorkshire beer I could pick up here in Australia. Is Blacksheep one? Tetley’s? Cheers mate. Keep up the great work.
Hi Hugh, the original Yorkshire Ales in decline or copied by big pub organisation and not the same. We have dozens of different beers to choose from now....Pat
I always enjoy these Pat. My lock down was easier because of your channel for sure. My version of a shed pub ended up being sat in the garden with an air rifle waiting for rats to come out, or walking in the woods with a few cold ones and some music. Looking forward to the camp vid, Cheers!
I like nothing better than going into a strange pub, sampling a few unfamiliar real ales, putting a few tunes on the jukebox & having a bash at solving a crossword. it's great having decent company, but spending time on my own is good too. thanks pat, for another enjoyable video
I loved this video, you make so much sense, its great having friends, for 50 years or more, your friends look so happy, I loved how you thanked the two that took many of your "on call" shifts, its so good you've not forgotten their good will. Your pub shed is so impressive, Id love to see you enjoying a bag of crisps or KP peanuts with your beer. I also learned you started work at the YEB building now the Kelham Island Museum, I started my working career just a few hundred feet away from you at Brook Shaw's, the Ford Dealer on Gibralter Street, its a small world. My Best friend took me to the Kelham Island Museum a few years ago, I was quite fascinated, I suppose the biggest surprise for me was that Sheffield used to make cars, it was all very interesting, anyone in the area with electrical or mechanical interests would enjoy the Museum, I highly reccommend it. Happy Drinking to you and yours, thanks again.
Yes Kelha is a great place for a drink, some nice old traditional pubs, and alot of history in the area as well. Was good to all get together or a drink, the main thing we had in common, and what has kept us together, the museum also is the location for the Sheffield beer festival in October, another great day out..... thanks Pat
@@patrickdickinson6492 We Grew Up In Aston Birmingham With Two Giant Brewery's Within Walking Distance Ansells And Inde Coope Both On The Lichfield Road . On A Sunday We Would Explore ! Looking Back It Was Very Dangerous , Gangway's 50 Foot Above Four 100 Foot Wide Vats Made Of Wood , Lad If You Fell In There You Was In Trouble !! Bless Up Pat
I enjoyed this video just as much as the rest of the videos, perhaps even a tad more, because I was trying to sip my wine everytime he took a drink. Found out he was faster than me and I found out it was a fun game, so I watched the video twice. Time for bed now
What can I say Patrick, another absolute classic video! I savour your videos because the are so special to me. You are a true inspiration to fellow RUclipsrs. From discovering you through some random RUclips algorithm years ago when you ventured on a pub crawl through Sheffield, to then discovering a video about your own home made projectile rocket launcher.... What a journey it's been! Don't stop what your doing!
Really nice of you to say, must admit my videos have varied a bit over the years but they have basically returned to wild camping where I started, the pub shed fits in well and is a nice place to go to ...... all the best Pat 👍
Patrick is my spirit animal. He must be protected at all costs. We have a wee pub in our garden too. Wise words Patrick. As they say here in Scotland, “yer here for a guid time, no a long time”. 💖🥃
Cheers from the USA! Been watching your videos for a few years. Inspired me to build my own pub shed. Still a work in progress, but I enjoy your videos! Keep it up. Take me home country roads!
Just found ya today💕🍻 I enjoy drinking alone (sensibly), too. Love a good IPA, although, yes, must limit number. Enjoyed your pub stories from younger years. In North Texas we had to go "across the river",... Your pub is awesome! My hubby's actually working on his retirement mancave bar/pool table room right now.🎱
Hi Stephanie, I can tell you it will be the best thing he can build, especially with retirement, we have some great times up there, so good its difficult to know when to stop......all the best Pat
I grew up on the same drinking culture, down in the Surrey Hills, wonderful days (70s there) then drank in the NE, great nights there too! I love your videos, thank-you, Patrick, cheers!🍻
I really enjoyed this video, bought back lots of memories of how it used to be. some very good points there too. Its basically the same old story though. Everything in moderation. simple.
A cold pint on a summers day on the benches outside the Cherry Tree in High Hoyland. Or the Glenuig Inn in Lochaber. Or The Watering Hole in Perranporth. Can't beat it.
I am bit younger than you Patrick but your video has brought back memories of when I was 15 1994 me and 2 mates first Saturday of summer holidays going round every pub in Croydon trying to get served and when finally my mate walked out of pub to the beer garden with tray of pints it was a fantastic feeling you felt like you was not a kid anymore when you make these videos you are definitely not drinking alone because we are all drinking with you hope you never stop making these videos
Hi Philip, yes we must of all experienced the same great feeling of " getting served under age ".....a real confidence booster and such a great part of growing up, every night out was a adventure. Great to share a drink with you all..... thanks Pat
Loved it, Pat. Like you, I was having a gargle at 15-16, best advice my old chap ever gave me was, 'Remember it only takes one pint to get you pissed'. He was right!!!
I Don't drink but I still like watching your videos! I love your pub I think it's a fantastic build. Am in Greystones so not far from you. I was hoping you would do another pub crawling video I really enjoyed the last one. 👌
Cracking video Pat. Some of my earliest memories of being with the extended Family (from my Mum and Dad's side) are from when we spent time in the Greenland Road WMC. As I grew older we would go with our Dad to his cricket and football matches (at Brown Baileys Sports Club, Olivers Mount) and we would always stay for the socialising after the games. Having a drink with friends was engrained into the psyche. I remember going up to Whiston (from Brinsworth where I grew up) to chance our luck in the pubs there when 16 or so. more often than not we get sent away in the pubs at the bottom of the village, but we always got served at The Hind up the hill. Then when I joined the TA at the tender age of 17 having a few jars after a hard days training was par for the course. The friends I made there are still friends today, although we don't see one another very often these days. We all still enjoy a pint. It was nice to share a drink with you at the Rail Ale fest earlier this year. If it's on again in '23 and you plan on going, first one's on me ;-)
Hi Andy, yes agree with all you say, drinking is part of my life and the friends I drank with when young are still my friends today. My grandmother came from Brinsworth with my great grandfather being a underground manager/ deputy at Treeton pit, found his grave in the churchyard. There were always pubs were you could get served under age, I know the Hind and Wickersley pubs as I worked for YEB in Rotherham in the 1990,s. We spent our early drinking days in Rising Sun at Nethergreen in Sheffield, on a Friday night, 80% of the people in the pub would of been underage....happy days... all the best Pat
Hi there Pat. I must agree with you, when you pull a pint it is a truly work of art, and a gastronomic delight. It was such a pleasure to be invited into your pub and sup a pint or two with you. I am looking forward to joining you on your next backpacking trip. In the meantime. Take care, keep safe and keep smiling. Cheers🍻 Pete.
Thank you for this joyous vid Pat. There's been a lot of peddling misery on RUclips recently, and often from wild camping channels. Not to mention a lot of 'my life is so much better without drink' stuff in general on social media. Not knocking that but how refreshing (in multiple ways) to see a bit of balance from a man at peace with himself and the world and admitting this particular vice has enriched his life. A massive 'cheers' from me! Bottoms up. Rich 👍🍻
Great comments Rich, I feel my age group are a different generation, the pub was the social highlight, we did everything with our mates at the pub, and still do....... all the best Pat
Pat your a ledge keep up the videos even in your 80s because you make lot of people happy when ever I get back from work I always settle down with a couple of pits watching you all the best 👍
I like your attitude to life! Yes, sometimes it goes awry but the sight of you pulling a pint with a hand pump,.....Wonderful!.....Right up my stret!.....Must visit your bar sometime!
That's like a breath of fresh air. I was with you all the way. Why are drinking friends allways put in a bad light. Here here,my friend. Finding the goldilocks stage is challenging, But when you're on it there's nothing better. Thanks Patrick. I enjoyed having a good drink with you. Kind regards Simon. ✌😎.
Agree with everything you said Pat, having worked for carlsberg for 20 years having a sensible drink is one of life's great pleasures, nice one Pat great video brought back many memories, Thanks for that.
Hi Pat,great video my friend….you always make sure each and everyone of them are interesting;as for this video;you’ve definitely made some valid points about fun and sensible drinking and knowing when to stop 😁👍 it’s great to see you back online and I totally love your shed Pub and it’s thanks to you; who gave me the inspiration to make my own Pub Shed from our summer house, which I,m still painting the inside up,as I had to rebuilt and add an extension, let alone build a new floor and base….the pub is going to be a 1950s style one, with also rats of memorabilia within…once finished;I’ll find a way to send some pics….keep up the good work my friend and I look forward to seeing another wild camp video…take care and God Bless Karl 👍
Hi Karl, your pub sounds great and I would love the 1950's theme, when pubs were proper pubs. I still keep adding bits to mine and altering the pictures etc, all part of having your own pub. Love making the videos and really appreciate comments like yours..... all the best Pat 👍
@@patrickdickinson6492 I totally lovely Rock n Roll and most things from the 1950s and as you said;that’s when pubs were pubs & beer was beer, when a pint would have tasted much better, because it only cost about 1/6d 😁 I prefer to drink at home,as it’s cheaper;plus you don’t have the hassle of some younger generation drinking too much and developing Dutch courage…😂😂 thanks for replying back..have a great weekend,Best Regards Karl
Well done pat everyone who thinks you like a drink think we're alcoholics and what aload of rubbish. It's a great way of socialising and having a great laugh with friends and family.so good on you pat.
Absolutely loved this video. Your videos are just so much fun. We have just built our own pub as you inspired us. I will most definitely show you the pictures. When are you posting again?
Hi James, just what I like to hear, got to have fun, great that you built your pub, such fantastic places and great fun to build. Will have a new video out shortly, done the camp, just got to edit it....the title is ...The Italian Camp...:all about food, and a few drinks..... all the best Pat 😊
Thanks Stephen, and glad you enjoy my videos, should have a new video out in a few days, and look back this past year, and plans for 2023... all the best Pat
Great job! Great video thank you!! I watch you for the joy of drinking. Love watching your pub shows. in fact its why i watch your videos. Thank you for your honesty. agree the lower alcohol beers are more fun. like to enjoy a bunch rather than a few.
Absolutely fantastic pat love a pint 🍺 or two myself nothing finer when wildcamping at the end of a day walking the hills . I take my hat 🧢 off to you mate cheers pat time for a camp 🏕 and a pint 🍺 👍⛺️
Thanks for the enjoyable video, I like nothing more than a good IPA in my hand, my AirPods in and watching the world go by on my own. I find it cathartic to watch the chaos of the world running around like headless chickens whilst I'm in my own world knowing full well I'll be back joining the chaos and headless chickens tomorrow 🤣 Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Back in the 90's to early 00's or so, we used to get Double Diamond over here (Las Vegas, Nevada). Loved that stuff. Is it still available in the U.K.?
It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and your wife today Pat , didn't quite touch on it but not only did you inspire our pub shed but also , rekindled my passion for camping, my lad was well jealous , give Brampton brewery a try , you will not be disappointed,
Hi Mark, yes so nice to meet you yesterday, always nice to talk to my viewers.Great that your interest in camping has returned, that is basically what my channel has always been about, the pub was just a little extra due to lockdown, but so glad I built it, have a great time outdoors..... thanks Pat 😊
Excellent video Pat, thanks for sharing your memories with us all. You are right, you are not alone, I think we all look forward to your videos and get a pint or three ready to enjoy with you on your camping or in the pub videos. Cheers!!
Love all your videos Patrick. This one was absolutely like having a pint with a mate. As I get older your energy is an inspiration. Come on though …. Let’s see a dancing video. It’ll be awesome. Keep on keeping on. 👍😎🤘
Haha, yes getting older, no good at all,but great to share a few beers with you, and yes I feel like I,am drinking with you all, no dancing video though, wife has a different view on RUclips to me........ all the best Pat
Well done Patrick very enjoyable. Brought back memories of having a pint of Courages Tavern in the Freemasons at Hillsborough.First time anybody has mentioned Tavern for years. Thanks for the memory and keep up the good work.
I don't drink, but why wouldn't I love this? Pat's videos are just the best. Everything is sensible and focused on enjoying life. If you want to enjoy the stronger brews, just alternate a pint of brew with a pint of water and you cut the ABV in half. Problem solved. You can enjoy a 6% as if it were a 3%.
You inspired me to build my own garden pub that my wife and friends enjoy often. Keep up the videos and I’ll continue to enjoy a beer virtually with you, cheers you’re a legend
Thanks Stephen, and yes we'll keep sharing a pint in my pub videos. Great that you built your garden pub, such wonderful places were you can spend some quality time...... all the best Pat
I like how you do your channel your way Pat ! I served my time as a "spark" in an industrial town in the North. Drinking was part of the culture. Some fun times were had! All the best Graham 👍
A wonderful, lighthearted way of looking at life. Do what you enjoy and others can get stuffed! Cheers! One of my fave videos is Patrick doing his own pub crawl and gradually getting shitfaced along the way!
This is my kind of video looking and listening to a bloke who knows the pleasures of the beer and who "sells" it very well indeed. 5 minutes into your narrative, I had to get myself a pint, it was after midday, just. Having said that, you can't beat a morning beer-buzz when on holiday. I'm only a few minutes into your video but I shall return to it soon. Cheers Patrick, Stan.
Hi Stan, is there anything better than a nice pint of ale with a smooth creamy head, nothing I can think of. An early morning beer sort of sets you up for the day, trouble is once you,ve had one and got the taste difficult not to have another. See you back in the pub shed in the future.....cheers Pat
Drinking got me thru the pandemic Pat, and I must admit I had a few brews whilst watching your channel!! All the best to you and yours, good to see you here
Good man Pat, love your pub shed vids. Love the camping vids too but love having a wee beer here while watching you in the shed. Cheers mate and keep them coming

Hi Scott, hope I never develop it.... thanks Pat
@@patrickdickinson6492 Me too.
A very nice whisky, and a kind present, nice to share a drink with you Seamus....... thanks Pat 👍
Much love!
Lovely comments Lewis, and you never know one day we may bump into each other ..... all the best Pat 👍
Absolutely fantastic another brilliant video from Patrick and I 100 percent agree whith him if your healthy and fairly fit and you enjoy a thew beers on the weekend or whenever you want then thats fine no ones perfect
Just enjoy life
Yes just got to drink fairly sensible, and enjoy it for many years..... thanks Pat 👍
Great vlog, you are right it’s about moderation and responsible drinking. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a few pints 🍺 love your home bar best I have seen. 👍
Thanks Lindsay, yes moderation, sometimes easily said but not so easy to do.... thanks Pat
@@patrickdickinson6492 all things should be done in moderation. Including moderation itself!
Extortionate pub prices, they destroyed themselves
Yes things have changed, luckily you can search out some pubs that have not changed too much, just quiet pubs for drinking and chatting...... all the best Pat 😊
Your pub shed is Brilliant Pat, another good watch. Wondered if your going to do another pub crawl video, classic pubs 👍
Maybe one day David...... thanks Pat
" tell you about drinking in a sensible way"
You got a like just for that Pat 👍👍
Thanks Lee.......Pat
Spot on. Some of my most enjoyable solo pints are had watching Pat in his shed. Wife and kids packed off to bed. Pint in hand. Perfect company. Lovely
Thanks James, great to share a pint with you, we all need a bit of peace and quiet at times..... thanks Pat
Nothing wrong with having a few sociable drinks. However, if drinking ever impinges on your work capabilities, then it is time to pack in work!!
Yep your right there.... thanks Pat
Building my own garden pub this spring. Loving your videos, you are a inspiration to us all. Cheers from Croatia.
Good to hear from you Gogy, you'll have great fun building it, and even more fun drinking in it, admiring what you have built..... all the best Pat
Yorkshire roots > you are part of the brotherhood! We are sort of master race
Hi mate can you get john smiths tetleys or stones all common northern beers good luck 👍
Yeah I can get tetley’s cans! Cheers mate.
Hi Hugh, the original Yorkshire Ales in decline or copied by big pub organisation and not the same. We have dozens of different beers to choose from now....Pat
Cheers 🍻 Pat. Bottoms up! Another classic from the pub shed.
Cheers Martin, always a happy time in the pump shed....... thanks Pat
I will be brutally honest Pat. You have inspired me to start drinking 😂😂😂😂
Go steady...haha.... all the best Pat 😊
Double Diamond , brings back memories
One of my first drinks in 1970.... thanks Pat
I always enjoy these Pat. My lock down was easier because of your channel for sure.
My version of a shed pub ended up being sat in the garden with an air rifle waiting for rats to come out, or walking in the woods with a few cold ones and some music.
Looking forward to the camp vid, Cheers!
Hi there sounds good, bit of target practice and a few beer...... all the best Pat 👍
I like nothing better than going into a strange pub, sampling a few unfamiliar real ales, putting a few tunes on the jukebox & having a bash at solving a crossword. it's great having decent company, but spending time on my own is good too. thanks pat, for another enjoyable video
Agree with that John, great to try new pubs and new beers.... thanks Pat
Was good to all get together or a drink, the main thing we had in common, and what has kept us together, the museum also is the location for the Sheffield beer festival in October, another great day out..... thanks Pat
this is the most wholesome channel on youtube! thanks for the company Patrick!

Yes Sally, got to make the most of life while you can, hope your enjoying your little pub, such great places ...... thanks Pat
Cheers from the USA! Been watching your videos for a few years. Inspired me to build my own pub shed. Still a work in progress, but I enjoy your videos! Keep it up. Take me home country roads!
Hi Bennie, best thing I ever built, you'll love it once completed..... all the best Pat 😊
Yes the nights and days out having a drink with friends, those are the ones you remember for the rest of your life..... thanks Pat 😊
Patrick, definitely feel I'm having a pint of you this evening watching. Love your content over the last few years. Enjoy pal. Dave from ireland
Hi Dave great to share a drink with you..... all the best Pat 👍
I really enjoyed this video, bought back lots of memories of how it used to be. some very good points there too. Its basically the same old story though. Everything in moderation. simple.
Yes , important part of many of our lives, but got to be sensible...... thanks Pat
And we’re drinking with you, too, Pat! Thanks from Maine!
Great to share a few drinks Kerry.... all the best Pat 😊
Going out for a pint on summer's nights like these, is pure bliss!
Your right there Glenn, one of the great pleasures of life...... thanks Pat
Relate with all you've said Patrick, what an absolute legend you are! This is what RUclips is about.
Brilliant 👏
Thanks 👍

A cold pint on a summers day on the benches outside the Cherry Tree in High Hoyland. Or the Glenuig Inn in Lochaber. Or The Watering Hole in Perranporth. Can't beat it.
They all sound fantastic places Mike,...... all the best Pat
You are a bloody legend mate, well done, as people have commented below I Love watching your videos so keep it up.
Thanks Brian, yes some fantastic comments.... thanks Pat
Haha know what you mean Henry..... thanks Pat
Another great video Patrick. Thanks you. And I did enjoy a sociable few whilst watching. Cheers everyone 🍻🥂
Thanks 👍....Pat
I Don't drink but I still like watching your videos! I love your pub I think it's a fantastic build. Am in Greystones so not far from you. I was hoping you would do another pub crawling video I really enjoyed the last one. 👌
Thanks Lindsey, was sat in the Banner Cross beer garden a week ago, wether I do another pub crawl, will have to see... thanks Pat
Hi pat, bang on video as always, cheers mate....
Been a pleasure...... thanks Pat
And Andy definitely be at Barrowhill in May, looking forward to it already..... thanks Pat
Thanks Pete, I tend to drink halves in the pub, means I can pull more beers, each one, just beautiful... thanks Pat

That's like a breath of fresh air. I was with you all the way. Why are drinking friends allways put in a bad light. Here here,my friend. Agree with everything you said Pat, having worked for carlsberg for 20 years having a sensible drink is one of life's great pleasures, nice one Pat great video brought back many memories, Thanks for that.
Hi Stephen, thanks for that, so enjoyable but moderation is the long lasting answer....... all the best Pat 👍

If you want to enjoy the stronger brews, just alternate a pint of brew with a pint of water and you cut the ABV in half. Problem solved. You can enjoy a 6% as if it were a 3%.
Not a bad idea that Peter, might not make the nicest of pints though.... all the best Pat

Cheers Patrick,

Hi Stan, is there anything better than a nice pint of ale with a smooth creamy head, nothing I can think of. An early morning beer sort of sets you up for the day, trouble is once you,ve had one and got the taste difficult not to have another.
