  • Let's try to put this issue to bed. Maybe it's impossible, but here's hoping it's not. Every time I mention this in a video, I get the same type of naysayers.     Hmmm....shorten your life? Or shorten the life of your axle (if it does at all)? Easy answer a axle is replaceable and my life is not! Great video.

      I have a 4 series. Went to 1 short of widest (adjustable rims), 550# cast iron each side, rimguard in tires. One almost over, and did this. I can buy five 4 series tractors for a few days in ICU. Loss of longevity, that is why you have a checkbook.

    I received my 2.5" bora spacers a couple of weeks ago but I still haven't had a chance to put them on. I just wanted to mention how wonderful and easy these guys are to work with. Good customer service is hard to find these days and these guys get it.

    2 inch spacers on my 1025r. Made a noticeable improvement in stability on the uneven and hilly terrain I have to work on here in Northern Ontario. Great video as always.

    I like the idea of adding spacers to my tractor for stability and safety. The main concern I have is relating to hauling the tractor on my trailer and not making it too wide for it. That should also be a consideration. Thanks.

    I installed a set of 3" Bora aluminum spacers on my Kubota B2920. It definitely increased the stability here in New Hampshire (Where it's all hilly) and i feel it planted the tractor better while plowing my driveway last winter. I'd highly recommend Bora!

    I bought my first real tractor this past spring(2023) the Massey Ferguson GC 1723e with loader and backhoe. My backyard is nothing but hill (I live in WV). I was mowing one day going cross ways when I went over a patch that was a little too steep, and rolled the thing. I mow with my roll bar half down because I have many trees that I need to go under, even with the roll bar in half position it saved me from a trip to the emergency room, unfortunately, the tractor landed belly up, and I ended up with a cracked rib. A couple weeks after my accident was the first time I saw videos about wheel spacers. I contacted my dealer about ordering a set, but they were dead set against them, citing the extra hub pressure. I gave it some thought and decided that my safety is is worth more than the possibility of replacing a hub bearing. It's November now, I plan on installing a set of spacers before the spring mow.

    Thanks for putting this one out hopefully you just saved someone's life. I don't need the spacers on my 4610 Ford it has a sliding front axel and the rear wheels are also adjustable and I have both front and back out almost as far as they will go and still fit on my trailer. When I got it they were all the way in, I pushed them out made a big difference on stability.

    I forgot about Gordie on GP Outdoors adding wheel spacers for his chains. Also, I might add that Neil Messick on his RUclips channel mentioned that he added wheel spacers to his personal purchase of a Kubota LX a few months ago. I would think if one of the biggest Kubota dealers in the country doesn't have a problem with it then we ought to be all right with them.

    Do not get off that high horse If you need them I will send you some spurs ! You are the most safety conscious person that I watch when talking about tractors . If moving the wheels out is going to damage parts on their tractor they need to get a better tractor . Thank You keep up the ( Good works )

    I bought the Bora 3" aluminum spacers for my 2020 2025r w/curtis cab w/o mmm. No problems so far & glad I got them.
    That machine felt & looked so tall & narrow, I had to do something. First, tried reversing the rims but that made the width even narrower!
    Still nervous on some sidehills, but much less white-knucking & feels & is more stable feeing. If any damage should be caused in the future by widening, I'll deal with that then but I value safety over repair costs, which may never happen anyway.

    I added 2" aluminum spacers on my 3039r and it immediately was noticeable, the added stability was key to some jobs I've done. Night and day difference, I also flipped/swapped my rims and idk why the dealer even let's you leave with the narrow setup on the wheels. Especially new equipment owners, way too easy to tip in and tractor right from the dealer.

    I’m glad you addressed this issue. I am also glad my B2650 has wheel spacers because it has the factory cab. I would be interested in finding out whether wheel spacers voids a warranty or not. If it doesn’t, that would also validate using them.

      I have yet to see or hear of any instance where wheel spacers on a tractor voids any warranty I called Branson tractors which is what I own as well as three local dealers and none of them said it would void anything two of the dealers say they recommend getting spacers in our area which is mostly mountains and uneven terrain I know when I was looking at Kyote as well as Kubota neither of those dealers said they would void a warrant either with JD may be a different issue with HR and marketing building tractors for them lol

    I have the 1-1/2 spacers on my 1025r front and rear. IMO it definitely feels and looks more stable. From an aesthetic point of view I actually really like the the wider stance look. Minor interference when closing and opening the right rear clip to adjust gage wheel height. Also need to scoot over the guide a little more left when attaching and detaching the MM auto connect mower. I have the 54" deck. So I can't comment on the fitment with a 60". Other than those two minor items I haven't experienced any trouble. Since adding the spacers back in March, I have done quite a bit of mowing and ground work (bucket, blade and hoe) around some areas where I would have been puckering a lot more . This weekend I'll be brush hogging a couple of my friends paddocks and fields. It's been a little uncomfortable in the past without spacers as the fields are rough and uneven. It will be interesting to see how it goes with the spacers on this time and the wider stance. As with anything, time will tell if there are any significant negatives that outweigh the benefits. I will certainly let you know in a couple of years how it all shakes out. For now, very pleased with the results. Thanks for sharing!

    I found onmy 3520, my front wheels were setting out wider than rear when in the "wide" position. Very little change found on Rear and big change on front. So I finally put 3" spacers on the rear. Left front alone. Valve stems in and its now perfect. Huge difference in terms of stability. And it looks better too.

    In 2020 I purchased a used a 2018 John Deere 2038r that had wheel spacers mounted prior to purchase. The dealer applied the balance of the extended warranty, so I do not believe that the spacers voided the OEM warranty.
    I cannot speak for the manufacturer or the dealer, but I believe that JD had to address some roll over concerns, and beefed up their notifications and support for proper ballast. The dealer facilitated the loading of my tires with beet juice ballast, so I believe that JD quite properly supports owners' efforts to increase the stability of these tractors, especially in hilly areas (like the one I live in).

    I put a set of Bora 3 1/2" spacers on my L3901 Kubota when it was new. It's 6 years old with 1000+ hrs on it now and haven't had a problem with the spacers, would'n't have it without them. We have a lot of hills and sidling places on our property and the stability is much better, no comparision. I love mine.

    I put 4.5 in Bora spacers on my 35hp Mahindra last year. It makes a real difference in the "feel" and stability of the tractor. I also put RV antifreeze in the tires which helps with ballast and adds to the stability. I added 2 inch spacers and agg tread tries to my craftsman lawn tractor/mower too. I live in the hills and nothing is flat ground here. I flipped the mower tractor before the upgrades because those lawn tires will just SLIDE down the hill like it was on snow instead of dry ground. I was not hurt on the lawn tractor mishap, but I do use the seatbelt and ROPS on the bigger tractor.

    We have a BX and use it mainly for snow plowing or blowing. We use the bucket for loading things like wood into the truck so I feel that spacers is something to look at and maybe add the smallest amount because there is a cab on the tractor. We have a mower deck for it but it sits in the shed in the summer. The snow blower is my concern and getting close to a house, don't want to buy a wider snow blower just because of the wheel spacers, adding weight in the tires for now might be better for me.     I have a 3033R Cab here in Canada and I noticed immediately that it was quite tippy. I installed 2” BroTeck wheel spacers (Made In Canada) and flipped the front wheels to the wider position. Much more stable now. I wouldn’t have a tractor without wheel spacers.

    I purchased the 3 inch spacers for my John Deere subcompact 1025R. This is the maximum you can put on the front. When I turn my wheels to full lockout the front tires slightly rub on the arms. If you went with a wider front you'd run into limitations. But the 3" difference feels SO much more stable. Now that I have spacers on I can more safely run chains in the winter.

    I just added 3 inch spacers on my tractor. Absolutely game changer! I've almost tipped so many times before I had to get these... like you said who cares if it everywhere breaks something. That can be fixed. I'd rather not flip.

    I bought wheel spacers to allow my deck to still mount, Rim Guard for the tires, and 72lb cast wheel weights. I only have the wheel weights on at the moment. Waiting for my 200hr scheduled service (soon) so I only have to remove the wheel once for installing spacers and Rim Guard.

    You just pressured me into ordering Bora 2.5's for the rear of my brand spankin' new 2021 Kubota 2501HST. Been on the fence for this unit. Has Bro-tek 2" on my previous 2018 MF GC1705, they made a huge difference on that little gem.

    I installed bora wheel spacer on my 1025r and I agree with you I ordered another pair for the front the biggest problem I have is the length of time it takes to get my order I watch your channel all the time and I really get a lot of good ideas thanks keep up the great work.

      Everything made in the USA is great, but it's the same issue no matter what you're ordering with the supply chain having shortages of critical parts. Try getting a trailer to the size you want or a new truck to pull it and see just how hard it is! Lol lol

    I completely agree with you with regards to having a Cab makes the tractor feel tippier. I have a Kubota B2650 with a cab and had numerous close calls. I'm definitely going to be ordering a set of wheel spacers for my tractor.
    One of my pet peves with the smaller tractors is that the wheel rims are designed in such a way that you can't add any wheel weights. This was the original solution that I was looking at doing, but couldn't. If I want to add wheel weights, I would have to up grade to a larger tractor, which I simply can not afford right now. So obviously wheel spacers are an affordable optioon at present.

    I’ve known 2 people who were either killed or severely injured on tractors. I have turned over a KUBOTA B7100 and aJohn Deere 2210, with severe weight distribution issues pulling posts my chain slipped throwing the front weight high quickly pulling the tractor off balance and turning over. The other incident was having an implement hit the ground when backing off the trailer causing the tractor to slide sideways and turn over.
    I believe spacers for an on highway vehicle is a huge mistake, failure on these vehicles is much higher likelihood! On a tractor, while possible, I believe rather unlikely. Worst case is inspection more frequently for safety. I use a jack stand under my 3 point hitch and lift the rear wheels off the ground with the loader, on concrete, then inspect my rear wheels and axle end play and wobble. Honestly we need to inspect our equipment more than we do, grease it more than we do! Our safety depends on it, really!

    I added 2 inch wheel spacers to the back of my 3046r. I've been driving tractors all my life and spacers are game changer. It's hard to believe that 4 inches would make that much difference, but it does.

    My Kubota B7500 came with wheels that can adjust wider. First thing I did was move them out to maximum width as I have a lot of slopes. I always just assumed that all tractors came that way.🤔

    Also as a note: the tire-chain kit for my tractor manufacture came with wheel spacers! Seems they are OK with it!

    The wheel spacers definitely increase drive line stress. That’s just simple physics. You have to make the decision if that’s acceptable. I think it is because I work on a lot of hills and value my life and not damaging the tractor from a roll over. Also I would always go with steel. It’s stronger and heavier. Almost all tractors can benefit from rear ballast, why not get some more weight from the spacers? I ended up making my own spacers because I could machine them. They ended up weighing about 50 pounds each. They add 2” on each side on my Kubota BX.

    Along with wheel spacers i swapped tires and wheels on front side to side to add more width or equeliize front to back widths

    I have to say this video came out right after our talk about the spacers. So I’ll comment saying I asked the question if it would hurt the axel or whichever bc I truly didn’t know hadn’t heard a thing about them. I’ll agree safety is BIG so would I try them for sure but if you ever had a problem with the axel I would also think on brand new stuff it may void warranty but again I don’t know that. Anyway thanks for the content. Hope y’all are heading from your loss.

    You know what can ruin a tractor real quick? A rollover. A friend lost his spleen due to trauma sustained in a tractor rollover. While he was pinned the engine sized up from running upside down. I'm sure he would have rather spent a day and some cash on bearings or axles. He would have been both time and money ahead! Not to mention still whole...

    One of my cousins had a VW bug that he had put mag wheels with oversize tires on. The rear bearing failed shortly thereafter. However i suspect tractor manufacturers put much more robust bearings in their axles knowing that people will be adding wheel weights or putting ballast in the tires, and also pushing the machines to its limits. I doubt that wheels spacers would significantly shorten the life of the axle.

    I have a 2009 JD 2305 with the backhoe, FEL and 62 inch mower deck. I found that after buying that it can be really tippy when using the machine. I first got rid of the junk 2 ply puncture o matic turf tires and went R4 tires and then added beet juice to the rears, then went to the JD dealer and bought 2" wheel spacers. It was a night and day difference after all the modifications I made to improve the stability of that small machine. Having some really hilly land it is a lot more stabile. I don't care of I have failures as the machine can be repair but after 455 hours it is still doing great

    Good advice. I got the Bora 6" spacers on my RK37HC that I run across the 10-20 degree gill. Before the spacers I was scared to go across the hill and I think I saved it one time by turning down hill when things felt tippy - of course that could have been newbie fears... The spacers really make me feel better. Fit is great. We had a mismatch on bolt type/thread but they handled return shipping and the replacement was perfect. I'm saving my pennies to add them to the front - not sure it helps since you have a pivot point, but might make a tiny bit of difference. How do you test that?

    It ultimately boils down to application and education. On our SCUT, the changing of wheel/rim isn't an option so spacers are the option. Larger tractors can. The 12" rim does come in a different position (most found on older garden tractors) only again making a few inch difference. One such set of wheels I custom made (26x12x12 garden tractor pulling tires) gives, yes, some width; however, practically speaking for the general public ... wheel spacers are the way to go. BORA has done the R&D.

    I am upgrading from my X738 to a 2025R. Do you have a video on the operation (even just basic processes) for this tractor? I have searched Deere's site but I cannot find what I am looking for. Keep up the great videos. I am on your site all of the time adding things to my wish list that I will purchase from GWT once the tractor attachments come in. I wont give up my X until everything is ready for the 2025. Still waiting on the snowblower and snow plow (not loader attached) and loader. I cannot take a chance on an early season snow storm and I have to shovel. That would be awful. LOL...

    Have a 3046R John Deere with cab, thinking of 6 inch spacers. Pulling a 72 inch finish mower. Putting spacers on and maybe wheel weights, what do You think?

    Have 1/2" (max dealer recommended) with loaded tires. Its still tippy if you arent watching. Lifts occasionally and wheel spins backwards if not in 4x4 even WITH weight on quick hitch (boxblade or 3 point mower)

      I think your dealer probably has very little experience with wheel spacers because I wouldn't even install anything less than a 2" to any tractor as it wouldn't make a large enough difference. Most people look at tractor wheel spacers like they do passenger vehicle spacers and there is a large difference between the two systems if your wheel is spinning backwards it seems like your spacers are not wheel and hub centric and you have an imbalanced wheel which will cause undue wear on your bearings. I'd look into them and go with a larger 2-3" spacer that's wheel and hub centric. those two key points will probably change your opinion on spacers as well as your dealer. I run 4" spacers on a 55 horse with tire ballast as well as wheel weights and have over 700 hours in mountainous terrain using mostly a grapple during arborist work and moving 2500+ ld. 16 ft logs consistently and have not had any sort of drive-train/bearing or any issue for that matter.

    I enjoy your channel, thank you! I was glad to see your video on Bora wheel spacers. But.. I kinda gringe when I hear Motorsport tech..
    I agree the spacers are safe. "IF" the proper bolts are used. I ordered and received wheel spacers from Motor Sport Tech. The spacers were tapped wrong, they sent another set of bolts to make them work. The new bolts are the same as what was sent with the spacers. They are not safe so I took the spacers off and can't get Motorsport Tech to return emails. Im out the money, but I feel safer without the spacers because of the chance of the small bolts breaking and causing a rollover.

    Bought 2.5 Borla spacers love them. My only gripe is the mounting bolts are 1/2 in to long which Borla says to cut them. For 700.00 dollars send me the correct length bolts.

    Great video, thank you. I put 3" Bora spacers on my JD 2025R last fall and noticed an immediate benefit in terms of stability. Working in the woods with both grapple and backhoe, the machine can get very tippy in a heartbeat. My only question though and one you haven't addressed in the video. What about FRONT spacers? Recommended or not? Benefit or not? Your opinion, please...

      I watched a video of another RUclipsr with a 2025R who flipped his front wheels and claimed that alone was the equivalent of a 3” spacer. He did 3” in the rears and flipped his fronts.

    Wheel spacers are the best thing since . . . tractors. I was glad I could order my Kubota with 3" spacers. It is so much more stable on our hills.

    As a tech at a dealership i only have seen 1 snapped axle shaft, as for worrying about the axle seal, that is at most a 45 min job, snap rings on the outside and there is a special tool to remove the shaft (or a big hammer) then a tool to install it all, it is not like older tractors with a snap ring all the way at the end of the shaft inside the diff. As for the 3 series deere sells spacers for them so its not uncommon to use them

    Do you install the same size wheel spacers on the front wheels as you do the rear?

      No. The front axle pivots, so it doesn’t add to stability. The rear axle determines the lean angle of the tractor.

    I was using my stump bucket yesterday to dig a grave for two of my neighbors kinda large goats. After digging what I thought was a big enough hole I put the bucket on and was cleaning out the hole when before I knew it my 3025e was rolling over on it's side. I was able to ride it down and step off, much like I used to do this crazy mare I had, without getting hurt. However it scared the punk out of me. I appreciate the video and I'm going to order a pair of Bora spacers for my back wheels. jac

    I put 6 inch bora wheel spacers on my John Deere 3038, Love love love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have put 235 hr. In 6 months . No problem

    I think people pick up on issues and over generalize the applications that they apply to. On a car or truck, spacers are an issue. But tractors have always had the ability to adjust wheel spacing for different needs. It comes down to not overloading the wheel hub interface and overloading can be done a lot of ways; duals, wheel weights, 3pt or rear attached accessories. Spacers on a compact or subcompact tractor are a must, as you point out, they are designed far too narrow (and lightweight) and are sold to, in many cases, novice operators. Even the pros get into trouble. My parents sent me to a 4H tractor safety class back in the late 1960's, getting yourself into unsafe situations on tractors has always been a problem.

So selling glorified lawn tractors and accessories to novice operators with no training is a problem that is not going away. And, this is simply not a true statement "... Farm implements move their wheels for row spacing, nothing to do with falling over." . Anyone who has paid attention to a roadside mowing crew understands that.

    Love my wheel spacers. Only 2" on the rear but a huge difference indeed. Just make sure you give them attention like your tires and check the torque on their bolts every so often and you will be golden. 🪙🙂

    Hi, my name is Beau, and I'm new to owning my own tractor. I have some experience from my childhood with tractors, but all we ever had was extremely old antique job tractors. We had a 40s model Farmall "C", and a 1930 John Deere model "A", both of which were three wheeled tractors. These machines were both top heavy and dangerous, especially the Deere. But other than that, the only real experience I've had was with my friends two sub compact John Deere tractors. One is a 2210, and the other is a 2305, both being pretty much the same tractor. I have always wanted a tractor, but I never could afford it. Recently this past March, I bought my first tractor. It's a 1979 Power King 1614 economy tractor. It does have hydraulics, and I'm in the process of putting a front end loader on it. And being that it is a garden tractor, it doesn't have a rear pto, but I'm working on designing one for it. This little tractor has a lot of torque and pulling power for what it is, so I'm confident in its ability to handle the loader, but it is extremely light, and the loader is gonna make it more top heavy, so I'm considering the fact that wheel spacers could be helpful. Now I'm not gonna lie..., I have always been doubtful of wheel spacers, and I've never wanted them before, but I also realize that I don't have the proper knowledge to make that determination. I'm not worried about tractor life being shortened because this little tractor is over-built for its intended uses. I'm following suit with my design for the loader frame support. There's 2 key issues for me with the wheel spacers, both of which will probably seem minor to most people. The first is pricing. I'm medically retired U.S Navy, and disabled. Therefore I'm on a pretty tight fixed budget. Everything I'm doing for this little tractor is second hand, and being done a little bit at a time. Are wheel spacers really expensive? The second is the more impending issue. This being an older tractor that is no longer in production, and pretty rare at that, has proven to be challenging when it comes to parts and information. So fitment is the bigger challenge. I don't know enough about this type of modification, so if Bora didn't have a spacer that would fit, can they custom make spacers to fit? And if so, how much is that going to effect the price? I know you can't really answer that, so I guess my biggest question is, if it's really worth it to complete this kind of modification? I believe it is, but I do have to take my financial situation into consideration, along with the fact that I don't want to put more money into the tractor than what it's really worth. Oh and one more thing... my little tractor does have the independent left and right brakes. Will the wheel spacers change the braking characteristics in any way? Thanks for the videos. If I were to get say the 2” spacers, they’re about $140 ea. Having 26 days in ICU, not tractor related, I can say these are on my to buy list. Courtney at GWT has been an amazing source of correct information IMHO

    Good morning. I agree with everything that was said.
    Possibly reach out to a tractor company and get a engineer or a technician to tell if you could possibly over stress a housing.
    That said,we all know if it can be broken, we as humans can,will find a way.

      It's no where near what the stress would need to be. Even if it were the case the spacer would give before the iron rear or steel axle would give.
      And they don't. Yeah sure going a foot out would be problematic but you don't need to go that far out anyway and a lot of these tractors are rated for duels anyway that's way more stress than a spacer.

    I want to put wheel spacers on my new 3025e but then read (on that GreenTalk site) that JD doesn't recommend them on this 3 series which is something I have to verify. I have hilly property and of course want to operate as safely as possible but I will have a problem violating manufacturer recommendations.
    Any help here from Good Works Tractors on this issue?

    Last month I helped my neighbor do an axel replacement on his 25 hp LS tractor, yup loader with axle spacers. However, we left them on as we have hills and heavy stones.

      He has a ballast box full of concrete and the axle broke on the down hill side when he was loading the bucket with rocks. The axle split off at the welded flange.

    FYI...just purchased a NEW 2021 w/full factory warranty a JD 3033R, asked James River to install factory wheel spacers, they said JD does not make them. OK, I said I will provide you with a set of Bora's to install. JD's response was I will lose my drive train warranty in full. So their is the fast and easy answer, no spacers for me...

    Hi GWT, I’ve en using Bora adapters on my daily commuter but foremost on my 1025r, here 2” ers, why? I started researching this as an alternative to your double rear wheel mod, I’d love that one day, but I’m needing to also change my R4s first to Versaturffs, back when I should’ve bought my 1025r with turf tires, didn’t know then what I know now LOL, so that’ll set me back $1K… which I’d rather put into my attachments. So I found bora then, around the time I saw your double wheel mod clip when it came out. Bought them and I’m as happy as can be, I’ve to mow in parts on a slop, those 4” give me a bit more peace of mind. Now spacer or adapters? Adapters, because spacers require longer studs, whereas adapter come with the proper mounting lugs and give you additional studs to mount your wheels. So the spacer can give you headaches, if you don’t replace the OEM stunds with longer ones, but still, those studs take the added load if not more hardened and can wear, whereas adapters act as like a “wheel”, so no my axle won’t suffer.     @goodworkstractors, Is it advantageous to try and make the front wheels as wide as the rear? Say the rear wheels measure 66" and 4" spacers will be added; 74" after spacers. Front wheels measure 62". Is there any gain in putting on 6" spacers to make them match the rear width?

    Additionally, I was referring to a 1025r with a 60-inch mower deck. I wonder if the bigger mower deck will allow you to put a larger wheel spacer on and not interfere with the deck Wheels? Any thoughts. Guess I still have a lot more research to do before I make a decision.

      I am in the same boat. I have the 60" belly mower ( but I never use it cuz I have a zero turn & battery (Kobalt) walk-behind.
      I am interested in 6" spacers, so thats a tl. of 12". It sure wud be nice if we cud see some pics of how 1025R looks w/ belly mower & the 6" spacers.

    I just ordered a 4052r and john deere offers wheel spaces as a option. I really don't see a few inches will ever be a problem.

    This is a great video, the only question I was left with was how much value is there in spacing the front end too? The times I have had my tractor almost roll is has been incline + weight in front end loader, so I am thinking spacing the front rather than the back could eliminate that issue. Can anyone speak to that?

      Your front axle pivots, so it's not going to matter how wide the front wheels are. Tha rear wheels create the stability of the tractor.

      adding spacers to the front end will increase and add undue wear to your steering components and is something I would not recommend doing spacing out the rear of the tractor would be the only way to go in my opinion.

    I added spacers to my old 1025R, and after experiencing the benefits wouldn't consider owning a tractor without them! When I ordered my new 3046R, I had the dealer add wheel spacers as one of the options I selected. My 40 acres has one flat spot and my house is built there, so spacers are mandatory in my opinion. Next is the proper ballast. Sure, these things cost money but what is your safety and peace of mind worth? Like you, I wonder why these aren't standard factory supplied parts. They sure make sense and I see no negative reasons to installing them.

    Do these spacers need to be re-torqued periodically? If so, how often? And does that require removing the wheels?

      You should occasionally re-torque your wheels regardless of whether you have wheel spacers or not. The spacers have two smaller bolts to hold them onto the axle. They come with longer wheel bolts that reach from the wheel through the spacer and thread into the original threads on the axle so, you do not need to remove the wheels to re-torque. My problem is I have to remove the wheel weights.

    there is no question about it, wheel spacers do increase the load on the wheel bearings. It's a fact and if people disagree then they don't have enough horsepower upstairs to understand the basic's of leverage.
    That being said tractor manufactures do not provide the engineering data on the radial loading for the rear end design and i doubt any tractor is going to see any significant life difference of the rear end because of 2-3" wheel spacers.
    I'm still waiting for my wheel spacers, 11 weeks now since i ordered.
