Great enthusiasm from Peter for what appears to be a solid idea & not “free beer TOMORROW.” Scott did an excellent job of asking exactly the right questions, and his earnest enthusiasm meshed just right with the guest’s. Well done.
encompassed navigation, all contained in the wheel! & it's in the UK! home of magical Innovator's! sounds awesome! it's great to learn what the other side of the world is building! great podcast guy's! thanks!💪💪💪💪
Mahindra partners with QNX for cockpit. REE partners with Mahindra. Hope all three are providing some great ASIL D innovations. Great interview thx again.
Im no expert, but packaging wise, this would be hard to beat and will be interesting to see the new vehicle designs this enables. That said, a wheel is a harsh place to live. I think that aspect is the only inherent weakness i can see in the longrun. Very cool though.
Some constructive criticism; In post-production please edit out or reduce Scott's remarks in between the guest's response/pauses. i.e. the "OKs" "Yeahs" "Sures" and "um hums". They're very annoying and detract from the content. Should be easy if you have two separate audio tracks.
@@munrolivepodcast Only 0.000000001% of the population has ever herd of REE Automotive And only 0.00000000001% of the population has herd of the Peter Dow. And what he does. So I believe the thumbnail should have been more descriptive. The only reason. Why I watched part of the video. Is because I have been watching Munro Live from the beginning. I would click on any video thumbnail if it said "steer and brake by wire". You had an hour long video and I believe only had two pictures of a front suspension up on the screen for 2 seconds. I would love to have listened to a explanation of the upgrade on the second suspension. And the gentleman you were interviewing had a horrible green screen going on behind him. Just giving constructive criticism
Scott is a great guy but a terrible interviewer. Much too immature in technique. All the silly acknowledgements ( wow, fantastic, amazing, etc.) , acknowledging while the other is still speaking, interjecting his own thoughts , etc. And then there is all the hand waving. Gee Whiz guys; come on . Is this what is going to happen when Cory is gone ? I sure hope not. I could be wrong, but I don't think your core* audience is under 30 or even 40. Certainly the % that actually buys your product isn't. By * core, I mean the paying and / or folks who actually influence the EV sector and your business in particular.
this interviewer is awesome, the enthusiasm is refreshing to hear

Ha. we're talking driving vehicles not audio. which will they bring out first?
I wonder if you can put 4, 6, 8 or more into something that needs to carry heavy loads.
This needs a yeah count
That's funny. I do like Scotty though
Count me boo.
This never got off the ground.
Very interesting but sounds too complex (and expensive).
I thought Munro did tear downs of actual products....Not pie in the sky.
Scott, just shut up and let Peter talk without interupting!
Your thumbnails need improvement.
I was a minute and a half into the video before I had a clue what the subject was.
The subject was in the title. It’s a podcast with Peter Dow from REE

I have a Monaco Windsor and am interested in this but I call BS or BBS. Supposedly it is built so where is the demo?
There is no UK! Go 3, throw England out now!!!
Excellent idea. Who needs the Scots, Welsh and Irish.

We think Scott does a great job!
Rivian just moved away from in wheel motors. Slashing costs by 25%
Rivian never had in wheel motors. They had a motor for each wheel!
I,m not into LISPEY FAIRIES !!!
