Why do the two of you torcher yourselves with these videos? You both look like puppies waiting for a treat or someone to drop something good. I'm in the Atlanta area in Georgia (U.S.). I wish that there was a way that I could send you some of these foods. Sadly, door dash doesn't deliver to your area.🤷
My experience as a lifelong New Yorker, is the best pizza is found in the outer counties (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island). Yes, they ARE part of the 5 counties that make up New York City (the other is Manhattan). The problem is, tourists would have to make a longer subway trip (or get a cab) to get to these places, with very few "touristy" things to do after the pizza. If you want to check out Staten Island, cab or car is required (no subway lines). This limits a tourist to trying good NY pizza in Manhattan (where you will likely stay) and not checking out better places on the outskirts.
Unfortunately, most are overrated in NYC, especially the single slice shops. I've been to Joe's and it's average at best. There are great pizza places in NYC of course. This reviewer gets a rookie score. If you want the best of the best of the best pizza you head over to Connecticut and Sally's Apizza, Pepe's, etc, etc, in New Haven.
If you go back to NYC, if wanting to try DiFara's, get ready for an hour's trip from midtown Manhattan to the Avenue J and 16th Street Station in Brooklyn.
NY Pizza Suprema has the best pizza I've ever had in NYC. Despite lines out of the door every time it moved fast and there was always room to sit. They had good toppings too. P.S. Watching Millie's face as the pizza was introduced was the best part, lol.
10:30. A few days ago you reacted to the 8 Tourist Places in New York City. I made a comment that if you walked up from the World Trade Center you would have walked through Greenwich Village were many of the great NY Style pizza places are. Joe's Pizza was precisely the place I was thinking of--hahaha. You would have walked through Washington Square Park and the pizza place would have been on your left. Now you know where to get the best pizza in NYC (per my opinion & per this RUclipsr's opinion).
If you guys visit the US and go to NYC come over to CT, specifically New Haven, and get Pepe's or Sally's. They're on par with, if not better than NYC pizza
I sure wish they did the United States of Pizza segments that was done on GMA but it's probably copyright. NY vs Minnesota vs Chicago vs Atlanta Pizza joints in the final.
The full name of a pizza is a pizza pie. New Yorkers like me say: Give me a pizza, give me a pie or give me a pizza pie. Some pizzerias in NYC do not sell slices, so you need to buy a whole pizza pie if you want a slice.
React to One Bite pizza reviews!!! I’m sure there is a best of video out there. The only guy you can trust with the reviews. Trust me. Dave is hilarious.
Just watching your both water at the mouth was priceless. 😂😂 I’ve been to three of these pizza joints whilst living in NYC 6 years ago. On man, they’re pizzas are so good. But they forgot Pizza Suprema… oooooh man… they’re pizzas off the hook. Y’all got to try it. Thanks for sharing this video. You bet I went to go get myself a pizza and salad after this. This video was fun. It’ll be awesome if you both did another cooking video. It’s nice to see you both some other things too. Just sayin ❤❤
Joe's is definitely good. DiFara's is absolute perfection (I actually appreciate getting different amounts of sauce and cheese in different bites--its an Italian thing--a texture thing almost). I haven't had that particular place with giant slices, but have had similar. I'm not a fan. The middle of the pizza is the worst part, and those are mostly middle. I've heard of Scarr's but never had it.
People from Italy will be all butt hurt by this. I know because I’m Italian. American pizza and Italian pizza aren’t the same and they aren’t done by the same standards, or taste buds. It makes me crazy when my Italian family will down a New York or Chicago style pizza in 2.5 minutes, then quickly tell me how it’s not a real pizza. Okay, family, wipe your face and stop burping because you’re so full, before you start preaching about how it doesn’t compare to REAL Italian PIZZA. I wish they would just agree that they love the American twist on pizza, while also loving their Italian pizza instead of getting all defensive and trying to show ow worship of the word. Drives me crazy, especially since they INHALE pizza in the US, then try to criticize it! 🤣🤣🤣
Joe's and Scarr's were the only pizzas that were "New York Pizza". Di Faro looked more like a Margharita/Neapolitan style (although the cheese looked more evenly distributed, compared to the splotches of mutz this style is known for) Her obsession with size re: Koronet made me wonder how she has a ring on her finger, and she started out not even folding it like you're supposed to.
No matter what, most local slice shops, being small, may have few or no seats and no toilets. IF any toilets in small take out shops which are noted for great taste, are usually foul. And with size and the high traffic in and out, there is NO enticing smell of that pizza. More likely of the street and traffic. Not such a good experience with well regarded food, such as these in NY. She has such a limited outlook. Her old local favorite plus a few safe well known best bets. But it left out many, which we can leave for others to note. Which may also be in Brooklyn and even Staten Island.
You just can't get good tomatoes and cheese for pizza here in the US. I only make my own pizza, since my first visit to Italy, because all of the pizza places near me lack good sauce and cheese. And only one place makes pretty good crust.
Pfft even if I visit Italy for the first time it wouldn't change my opinion on US Pizza. Some US pizza places use pretty good dough which makes the crust thick.
Thin crust pizza is a non-starter for me. For anything over $25, it better have something VERY expensive on it for me to buy it and that's stretching the price a lot for me. The woman in the video is lucky that she's still at an age where she won't easily get heartburn from eating these.
NY pizzas are average. CT is where the pizza is. Sally's and Pepi's in New Haven, Rossini's in Cheshire, and many more. There are no bad pies in CT except for national chains.. No other state is even close. New Haven is the origin of American pizza, not NY. Hamburgers are from New Haven, too.
And speaking of Pizza I wish they would react to the United States of Pizza segments that GMA did this past week but it would probably be massive copyright. It was NY pizza vs Chicago vs Minnesota vs Atlanta pizza places for the final.

RIP Dom (Di Fara Pizza). He passed away last year. He made the best pizza in NY. He's in every pizza show about NY pizza.
Yeah
Dom was a king for sure.
I even own pizza dice!! (Pizza indecision? Just roll those dice, and you're all sorted!)
When i was studying at NYU, I frequently go to the Percy's $1 Pizza. Yes it was only $1 for a piece of authentic NYC pizza as of 2016.
I am watching this at 2 am in the morning, and now I am craving pizza
Yep, thanks for changing my dinner plans. Had a rotisserie chicken in the fridge, but I just ordered a cheese pizza with garlic knots. Oy. 😂🍕

I think I'll have pizza for dinner tonight. Thanks for the idea.
I’ve always wanted to try a slice of pizza from NYC. Hope I will someday. 😋🍕

Pepe’s is the oldest pizza in America, its the old reliable original. Sallys is related to them but modern is the best.

Di Fara’s should not count in a best slice conversion, not because it isn’t good, it is excellent, but it is not a slice joint.
I would never be able to enjoy a pizza that cost $35.

Best pizza I ever had was Boston at Santarpio's but there are great pizza joints all over.
I’ve been to Koronet. I carried one of those huge pies on the train back home. The pizza was good. Not great but a solid slice.
One bite, everybody knows the rules.
I've never been to New York but as far as my favorite pizza in my home state of Montana it's gotta be Eugene's in Glasgow Montana it's so good lol
People rave about ruby rosa and bleaker street pizza.
Yes so worth it.
Di Fara is my favorite slice. can't go wrong with Joe's tho. still have yet to try John's
Ive been to all of these there all good
Di Fara's is the most "Italian" like imo, of the N.Y. slices. Can't go wrong with Joe's or Scarr's, though.

I grew up in Maryland and my favorite pizza is Chicago deep dish
Just because you're where the Twin Towers were doesn't mean your special
