- Its only been two months with the SRT4. They were very enjoyable ones I will add. That said with a turbo 4 cylinder already in the fleet I did not deem it necessary to have two. Video goes over my final thoughts on the car and shows the sale process. Enjoy!
I absolutely love my Srt! I cant imagine getting rid of her…. Paid off and fast while still being reliable! 210k on sealed engine. Big turbo car. Still strong

Stock for stock, the SRT4 is faster than a 350Z. I know you like the 350Z, but it isn't as much of a performance bargain.
Faster than a Mustang GT (same year) WRX, S2000, the list goes on and on. Very underrated.
I totally understand why you sold it, but you'll be back. The platform is infectious!

@@therealjessescheel Yea man the blue one was my original one I had for almost 10 years. You can find some videos of it wayyyyy back on my channel. I sold it in 2014 and tracked the current owner down and stalked him for years until he was ready to sell it. My good buddy that lives around the corner just bought it and we are restoring it together!
I’ve had the GTS-T and it was fun for what it was back in early 2k’s, no money retention in that car whatsoever not even the X, the Z’s are going for ridiculous amounts of money now days people are reaching up their asses and around the corner for these crazy prices their asking now days, It’s honestly hilarious!
I had an absolute ridiculously clean orange Z same as you have there and it was completely decked out static on 3 piece WEDS carbon fiber hood, ultra clean interior, and much more and honestly if you saw this Z you’d think it came off the show room floor and I miss it every day! I sold it for $7k lol 🤦🏻♂️ huge mistake but you live you learn, now I’m debating on getting an SRT4 for a daily beater and getting rid of my 392 Daytona charger and to dump a total of $20k into it just for the hell of it!
I'm hopefully finishing my SRT-4 soon so I can rip on it.

I have a red 03 srt4 with 85,000 miles on it I payed 15,000 for it in 05 with 28,000 miles on it. I was thinking about selling mine but I changed my mind after so many people tried to hate on the price I wanted just like u I was asking 7,000 for it with 75,000 miles and stock clutch and tranny. People wanted it for like 4 or 5k and was like u will never get 7k out of that car and it is like damn near perfect condition inside and out.
It’s a tough platform in that regards. It’s like the Eclipse as well. They are worth a lot more but some have egos about them due to how cheap they have always been and others who are wicked cheap destroy the platform by not taking care of them or buying multiple for parts and blowing them all up. Their last resort is to make ludicrous offers on them to try and get another to destroy. The SRT4 and DSM’s are a doomed platform unless a different genre of buyers start taking interest in them. Pry to late for the DSM sadly.
You should relist it ,the values have gone up quite a bit.
Hey Jesse hope you had a Great Day! Well On my 95 2G 420a after adding my Oil Catch Can i would have to always give the gas a love tap to get things started. What solved my issue was that it had 2 options sealed or breather. Sealed= killed / Filter= fired up instantly. I love the Vidz keep up the Great Work!
Good info! I need to take a look at all the wiring and hoses going to throttle body. Could be something simple like a missing vacuum cap.
That's why I can't let mine go.. lolz.. 121k miles.. bought it for 5k at 108k miles with issues and put like 7-8k in it parts and labor since I'm not a very good mechanic. I love it but sitting due to throw out bearing :(.. other than that.. car runs like a champ street tuned spiking at 22psi (all stock Stage 2.. just bolt ons)

i sold my totaled srt for $1500. frame was bent, inner cooler was smashed, no air bags, there was so much wrong with it after i crashed it and still made half my money back
my Snapchat acc got banned and I felt what u said in the beginning got me appreciating life rather than trying to capture the moment

If a built one popped up I’d pry buy it. Building cars is expensive and typically there is no return on your investment. People brag about “built not bought” that is a horrible mentality in my opinion though. Would rather buy someone else’s investment that didn’t pan out at market price then lose my own money trying to make a car fast. Does that make sense? 🙃👍🏼

It is what it is. I understand the sale. I had a 04 silver neon SRT4 that I had for 7 years that I sold. Was tough to sell it. So much fun and lightweight. Car was developing rear rocker rust. I wanted to move onto a RWD performance car. Ended up with a ProCharged 2002 C5 z06 in yellow. Was fun, but clutch pedal would stick to the floor when shifting in high rpms. Ordered a nice clutch kit for it decided to list it in the middle of winter time just for the heck of it and ended up selling it and making a nice profit and then sold the clutch kit. Had it for less than a year. Couldn't get over the color of the car. I don't think I could own a yellow car again. Then I got a Crossfire SRT-6. They only came in an automatic but man that car was decently quick. Super low miles at only 30k. Very low production car. 3100 lbs with 348 horsepower. (330hp was wrong rating) had it for about 2 years. I paid 13.2k for it. Sold it for 17.5k! Someone had posted a wanted to buy on the crossfire forum turns out it was a wealthy guy out in Michigan that had recently just got an R8+ He daily drove crossfire SRT-6s and the one he just sold had close to 300,000 miles on it.. ridiculous! So he was looking for a fine low mileage example and mine fit the bill. That is one car I really regret selling I can see the prices of the SRT-6 going up quite a bit in the future. So then I bought a six-speed 2010 Corvette. Had that for a couple years sold it and got back into a neon SRT-4. Which is what I have now.. can't get over those cars. Only had 14,200 miles on it when I bought it! A stone white gem. Has 25,000 miles on it now. Has a nice list of modifications

@@therealjessescheel good luck! Hard to find clean adult owned ones. But they are out there. Love your eclipse GSX. Buddy had an SRT4 years ago and when he sold it he got an Eagle Talon TSI. Cool looking car. Now all the 350Zs I see rolling around never have a front facia on 😆. I don't think I have seen one clean 350Z in my area. All rough. Now the 370Zs seem to be taken care of well probably due to being newer/ more expensive and owned by less f*** boys 😂. I test drove one before I got my 2010 Corvette and it seemed to lack power. But man they are beautiful cars (370z/350z). Excited for the Nissan z to come out next year. I might try to get one of those but I might wait for another model year because it's usually a good idea not to buy the first model year of a new car. Hopefully prices go down in a couple years on cars in general.
Make a vid on how to change your throw out bushing bc I’ve tried getting mine out a couple times and failed🥴I hate the stupid thing😂
Pretty sure it will be a trans drop and I’ll do clutch and flywheel while in there. I’ll try and get a video out of it. 👍🏼
@@therealjessescheel be aware that you can’t pull the bushing using a puller from autozone or harbor freight. Bread didn’t work for me either. I haven’t tried using hydraulic pressure yet tho. What’s your feeling on the Focus RS vs say a BMW M235/240?
The veloster is slow unless heavily modified. Stock v stock my focus st was beating srt 4s by a half a car or more. If you go euro the Volvo c30 is better for taller people. They are more reliable and easier to work on than a mini.

@@therealjessescheel sadly the focus had a blow out on a back road and got totaled because there wasn't enough room to save it. This happened on the one year anniversary of its purchase. I'm also a GA native. When I get my 96rs build I'll bring it for you to drive.
Maybe a 03 SRT4. Your not beating a 04-05 stock SRT4 by a half car or at all. The 04-05 were faster they put down 230whp stock. Dodge under rated them saying they made 230 at the engine.
I used to own a mini cooper S that was supercharged. I had a reduced size pully on it and some other small mods. It was a cheap but very capable car. Only paid like 3200 for it. If youre ever able to drive one you'll enjoy it for sure.
Appreciate the info man. The mini has never resonated with me. I do feel it’s a capable car and would be fun to take one for a rip I have just never desired to own one.

if your not to big for a miata i had one of those before i had the 350z and kinda sad i let it go it was slow but also so fun to drive you can rage it like a holagan and really not be speeding to much but it feels like you are going so much faster then it is

Not true enthusiast's honestly, only those who know what they are and are capable of from its roots keep them. They're incredible gems . Problem is the scene is too influenced by what buddy boy has and they get easily influenced by trying to one up the next person , I see and hear it all the time in the car world. Not saying that's what he did but it's .more than half of the scene .

@@therealjessescheel we probably won’t have to worry about that until 2040. I think Europe is on a 2032-2035 schedule. It won’t be banned per se, just expensive to operate a gas operated car.
