Well I'm full lebanese and I just wanna say the green beans you've tried is called loubyeh second we don't mix baba Ganouj with Tabouleh and we don't eat tabouleh with pita bread we eat it with a spoon but u can do whatever u want. There's plenty of other desserts, main courses, and appetizers that we eat like…. Appetizers: hommos, tabouleh, baba ganouj, taratour, raw kibbi, veggie soup, lentils soup, fried kibbi(can also be considered main course), marhamiyeh, etc. Main courses: shawarma,, shish tawouk, mlokheyeh, shishbarak(my favorites), mjadara, kibbi taheli, bemyeh, ablama, kawej, ghomam, falafel, mansaf, etc Desserts: knefeh(the masterpiece), baklawa, halava, znoud set, warbat, maamoul, cheese halava, etc… And about the breakfast you should make a video about it: manakeesh, makdous, zaatar, labneh, shangleesh, keshek so traditional, so healthy and so yummmmmy
It was a trip seeing a Lebanese flag on your video. I was born in Beirut. Lebanon holds a very special place in my heart. Even before watching this whole video, i know you're gonna love the food. (edit) I was right :) btw you mixed up the names of the tabbouleh and baba ghanouj, tabbouleh is the parsley salad. most lebanese people don't typically mix them together into one bite, but hey, you do you. 10/10 video.
Right I am from the mother land also I was adopted and raised in America but honestly you guys need to have a true Lebanese person cook for you it tastes 100x better
Hey! I'm lebanese! taboule is actually a salad so mot people wouldn't eat it with bread. but, it tastes amazing with lettuce or cabbage leaves used as the bread! Also, you should've had toum which is basically a garlic bases sauce (basically like garlic mayo but a thicker consistency and it's tastier) Tabouleh and Fattoush are definitely amazing ! ( try fattoush, another lebanese salad) Grape leaves to us are basically heaven, we literally cook them in piles and eat them nonstop! loubye (green beans) is good! but you should try the loubye bzeit (translates to green beans with oil) which is basically very similar to the beans u had, but it has no meat , and you eat it with pita bread, raw white onions, cucumbers, green bell peppers, and really any vegetable you like!! if you want some suggestions for what to try next, hit me up! or pass by lebanon for the authentic taste because restaurants arent as good as the homemade food! even lebanese restaurants in lebanon dont do it justice! im so glad u liked it !!!
I am lebanese, and I just want to say "Thank you" for trying our food and loving it. I don't know why but whenever someone tells me "I lovee the food of your country", it makes my day. About the video itself: yeah you should of dipped the stuffed cabbage and the grape leaves into the yogurt sauce. But trivia: you can drink that sauce by itself it's sooooo refreshing.
Alma sahten 3al kebbe 😂😂 I am lebanese too most of our food are very tasty and delicious You guys gotta try more lebanese food in my opinion it is the best
Wow its refreshing seeing food ive grown up eating and watch it being tasted as completely new. Next time try kafta (flavored ground lamb and parsely on skewers or in a stew) Eggplant moussakaa Makanek with pomegranate molasses(lebanese mini saussages) Bemye (okra stew with rice) Hrisi (or harissa) like a slow cooker lamb and wheat soup/stew and add ground cinnamon to it Labne (somewhere between greek yogurt and sour cream) wrapped in pita bread with tomato cucumber olives, olive oil, a sprinkle of dried thyme, and olive oil) DESSERTS: knefe, halawet el jeben, halawi, meghle, maamoul madd. Pointers: The baba ghannouj is the eggplant tahina dip, usually eaten in pita bread with olive oil and cucumbers Tabbouleh (parsely salad) is eaten with a fork or packed into a piece of lettuce or cabbage, i sometimes add some hummus to it too The green bean stew is called loubye, usually in stew form (with the lamb) its eaten out of the same plate with the rice (like spagetti and sauce) An alternative very tasty vegetarian loubye stew is best eaten cold and with pita bread The stuffed vegetables are nice with yogurt or the tzatziki-like sauce. As is the kibbi which is ground lamb with cracked wheat.
Heyyyy I am lebanese 🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧 Guys from America or other countries you should really visit Here Lebanon 🇱🇧 it is so beautiful 😍 the morning, the mountains ⛰ the food is also great 👍 the people are nice and friendly!!!🙃can’t wait to see you there 😘🙂
Don't dip in olive oil but pure olive oil on the raw meat. Put olive oil on humus and on Baba ghanouj. Nice video And in the restaurant don't eat food with the hand haha Lebanese is about etiquette hehe fork and knife even for stuff food unless if it was the smabosik or spinach stuffed bread. Reason why baklava is different from Greek ( we don't use honey ) we use sugar syrup with rose and lemon flower water
Yallah wtf??? Who said Lebanese is about etiquette? Have you ever been to a Lebanese restaurant? In Lebanon? We use our toes if it’s necessary. I hate our narcissistic Phoenician fellas
I'm lebanese and im so glad that you liked our food. Because food in here is a part of our tradition. And in order to experience the lebanese food to the max, i think you should come over here and try it. Trust me you wont be regretting it guys❤️❤️
Hello im Lebanese and proud 😋 i recommend that you come to Lebanon and try our food here because it's definitely more delicious! My favorite meza(lebanese starters) would be : waraa enab bzet (grape leaves with parsely onion tomatoes spices stuffing and covered with olive oil and lemon juice), and baba ganouj (more fun than the one that you get:p) with olive oil and pomegranate, hommos with tahini, tabboule of course that we eat in fresh lettuce leaves, our sweet and sour fattoush with fried bread on top ... As main diches i love our mloukhiye, kousa blaban (stuffed zucchini that you loved with yogurt and garlic sauce), our chicken or meat shawarma, kebbi arnabiye(kebbi with tahini and 6 kinds of orange juice sauce), moghrabiye, laban emmo, and the spinach pie that you loved is nothing compared with the ones we make here, we make it very small almost like a bite and very thin and crunchy that you can see the color of the stuffing, sambousik... If you ever came here I'd love to be your guide! 😍
The green leafs in the Tabouleh is Parsley and not coriander ! The Baba Ghanoouj is done in a blender which is not the proper way. Tobouleh you can eat it with lettuce leafs or as it is , very few eat it with bread. It is a great Video.
I’m a British Lebanese and very impressed you tried the food and enjoyed it. I love cooking and eating food from around the world but I always go back to Lebanese because it’s wholesome, refreshing, warm sweet spices and for everybody to enjoy equally including vegetarians. My favourite is Tabbouleh salad eaten on its own with a glass of arak (alcoholic) or refreshing cold beer - enjoy your adventures and I have subscribed to your channel to see more xxx
I am Lebanese :) Glad you loved the food, no wonder it's one of the best in the world :) You should try Shawarma, Kebbe, Knefe and a lot more ..... P.S: We usually don't dip the tabouli in baba ghanouj + we eat tabouli with cabbage (or spoon) and not bread.
@@laramsaed That is interesting to know, I was raised in Tripoli and through out my childhood and upbringing I never ran into a family member or in a restaurant that serves it with Cabbage. I'll have a go at it next time I have tabouli
@@ghass2006 well it differs from town to town , am from zahli and cabbage is popular😁 and in beirut also in resturants they used to put lettus and cabbage
I wish if they told you how to eat each dish too! It would have tasted even better. There's certain things we don't mix together, like Tabboule and Baba Ghannouj, you just eat the Tabboule with a fork.. And the Raw Kebbe, needs our signature Arak.. But glad you liked our food!
Lebanese food is concidered one of the best cuisines in the world and is very approachable. As an advice to you, the olive oil should always be drizzled on the food, and not on the bread. Always try and eat the raw kibbeh slightly chilled, then drizzle the oil after flattening it with your fork (makes a nice pattern for the oil to stick on :) Try the tabbouleh chilled as well, a good tabbouleh is always cold and juicy. ENJOY!
I am Lebanese 🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧 🇱🇧and a subscriber from a long time , I was so excited and happy that you tried the Lebanese food , There still a lot of stuffs you didnt tried it like fattoush (salad) , shawarma makanek, soujouk, (meat spicy), kafta (meat), chicken liver fried with lemon and garlic and much more ... you have to try more. Love ❤️💚❤️💚
Take a bow because you guys just ate Jesus food. Lebanese food has been around as long as the bible and that's what our lord and saviour ate when he was on earth. That is why it is soooooo good.
i am lebanese and living in lebanon, and the food you are eating looks exactly like ours, so don't worry emily's deli is doing a great job, basically you can eat everything in bread, you do not have to mix tabbouleh with baba ghanouj, you do not have to eat the stuffed food with your hand, you can use the fork (also you can dip the stuffed food in yogurt)
We usually eat tabouleh with a fork or in lettuce leaves but hey, who cares, eat it any way you like. It’s healthy and delicious any way you eat it. The bread you’re eating isn’t Lebanese though. Leb bread is much thinner than that. That looks more like Turkish bread. Good on you for trying it. There are a lot more things to try.
I am lebanese and I am really really glad that you liked our food, for my favorite dish (choosing from the things you ate) is actually the stuffed grapes leaves and for the record, here in lebanon ,when our mothers cooks traditional lebanese food we get sad ,we really do prefer a McDonald's hamburger
I love watching your ‘Americans Try’ videos! I’m kind of a picky eater but watching these videos makes me want to get out of my comfort zone. Thank you three!!
i know you're gonna love the food even before watching this whole video but thr raw meet must be eaten with alot of ognions its delicious and with special lebanese alcohol called arak its likeor equivilant to gouzo in Greece and way much strong! bon apetit
My favorite lebanese food are tabouleh and grapes leaves. Me too I’ve never tried raw meat, I get nervous of the idea. I know kibbeh is a traditional lebanese dish, but not all of people eat it. In my family we never prepare this dish. Nice video, thanks
Glad you guys enjoyed every bit of it... a tip for the cabbage is to try and splash a bit of fresh lemon juice on it, you'll love it even more. For the tabbouli, I read some of the below comments where people mentioned not to eat it with our Lebanese bread. Trust me a true Lebanese will eat that bread with everything :) ... a final remark to make, we do use olive oil a lot as it makes our food tasty and it is healthy as well!! If you get to visit the restaurant, please do try 'Knafa' for desert and you'll love it! Cheers
My favorite lebanese dish is called "Moghrabieh" it's a piece of art. But i don't think you can find it in the US :( And Shawarma of course.. Who doesn't like Shawarma?
And plz there is no special way to mix food as long as it taste good you can do it, if somebody tells you that you ate wrong he is the one wrong ( actually here in lebanon each region and even each village has his own way of eating food there is no rules for it so just make sure it tastes good)
Wow everything looks INCREDIBLE! Never had Lebanese food before, but it looks similar to Turkish food. I think I would love every single thing there, other than the raw meat lol. Just knowing it is raw would probably throw me off. But fantastic video guys!
NuMi it i am lebanese and the thought of it raw meat disgusted me but i tried it just don’t think about its raw it tastes good really good with oil and onions
There's a good reason why Lebanese food look like Turkish food. It's because Lebanon was part of the Ottoman Empire from 1422 until 1918. So I guess heritahe affected the culture 😊
Hello from lebanon, happy that you loved the food. I knew you would even before watching the video. And yes dont mix tabboule with baba ghanouj and you should have tried hummus it's was more yummy. And i'm sure if you come, the food will be way more better ❤️
I am half Lebanese (my mom is full blood), and I LOVE Lebanese food, there are some things that I don't like (like the spinach pie, raw kibbi, and tabouli), everything else is AWESOME, I will tell you one dessert dish that is to freaking die for and that is zalabia, if and/or when you go back to that Lebanese place, ask them if they have zalabia and you will see what I mean, trust me
lol, I am sorry, I am a pretty picky eater, but my sister loves those, but I do like cabbage rolls even though I am picky, and I absolutely love grape leaves
SBK2552 You are fine. 👍👍👍👍We all have to dislike some sort of food . I just have to say that eating the Lebanese food in Lebanon is Way more delicious and tastier than having it abroad as I was amazed when I went to Lebanon for a visit. I was extremely impressed with the food.
As an Arab, I feel so proud that they've tried foods that they dont usually eat, especially middle eastern dishes since many Americans dont want anything to do with us. NEW SUB HERE
Do another video with these dishes: Kishk Soup (traditional gruel) Manoushi Zaatar (thyme flatbread) Bayd bi Awarma (eggs with lamb) Bulgur and Tomatoes Hindbe with caramelized onions (dandelion greens) Adas bi hamood (lentils, swiss chard soup) Kibbeh bi Labanieh (Kibbeh with yogurt soup) These are more traditional recipes rather than restaurant food but if you ask your local restaurant owners (make sure they are Lebanese) they would be able to make you these upon special request especially if it’s for a video!
Baba ganoush is pureed eggplant almost like a hummus but grilled eggplant.. try Shish tawook..omg with toum garlic sauce .sorry for not spelling correct... but i adore lebanese food...the grapeleaves too are sooo good.lol idc how many times i brush my teeth or gargke with mouthwash im tasting the Garlic sauce for a few days..lol..sure my hubby n kids are not fans but idc it is best taste ever
You don't eat tabbouli with baba ghannouj.. Every dish has his own taste alone but also it's a very good combination.. Plus all the stuffed vegetables like cabbage and zucchini you should've tried it with yoghurt sauce also the meat pie is great with yoghurt.. A big hi from lebanon and you should really visit us very soon and trie the original food in here.. I'm sure you'll be amazed!
Happy that you liked the food, I’m Lebanese and it’s nice seeing foreigners try and like my country’s food. And btw the tabloule is a salad so you eat it alone 😂
i’m lebanese and my personal favs are sfeeha (the meat pies), the stuffed grape leaves, kafta (which they didn’t show), lebanese rice (which they also didn’t show), and raw kibbeh 🤤🤤
Hey guys. Lebanese Taboule is number one among Lebanese food. But you have to try the homemade one not the restaurant-made one. The taste of homemade taboule is 1000 times better. I'm Lebanese. I appreciate your love for our food. Thank you.
"Pretending" that u misspell the word lebanese just proves that u are Either Blind or completely ignorant or most probably ure just a complete douchebag trying to be funny and failed big time at it.

The salad is Tabouleh, and you eat it with a fork. The dip is baba ganoush or motabal. The bean dish is also a dip you eat it with bread. Glad you guys like the food though 👌🏼💕

Oh and try knefeh
I love watching your ‘Americans Try’ videos! I’m kind of a picky eater but watching these videos makes me want to get out of my comfort zone. Thank you three!!
i like middle eastern food, I don't know how but it's something about how they cook the meat
Ya we have our own way
This video got me so happy hahah I’m Lebanese and it’s awesome seeing people of different ethnicities enjoy our food 💖 awesome video I love it
i know you're gonna love the food even before watching this whole video but thr raw meet must be eaten with alot of ognions its delicious and with special lebanese alcohol called arak its likeor equivilant to gouzo in Greece and way much strong! bon apetit
My favorite lebanese food are tabouleh and grapes leaves.
Me too I’ve never tried raw meat, I get nervous of the idea. I know kibbeh is a traditional lebanese dish, but not all of people eat it. In my family we never prepare this dish.
Nice video, thanks
Im lebaneseee love u❤
Funny Iris is trying to steal the show like she does. Adorable. She won’t take second stage. You guys did a great job. Still peeking. Good job
IT'S A GARLIC SAUCE AND WE DON'T DIP EVERY THING IN IT JUST HAM AND MEAT!
"I really liked the video"
Glad you guys enjoyed every bit of it... a tip for the cabbage is to try and splash a bit of fresh lemon juice on it, you'll love it even more. For the tabbouli, I read some of the below comments where people mentioned not to eat it with our Lebanese bread. Trust me a true Lebanese will eat that bread with everything :) ... a final remark to make, we do use olive oil a lot as it makes our food tasty and it is healthy as well!!
If you get to visit the restaurant, please do try 'Knafa' for desert and you'll love it!
Cheers
I live in Lebanon 🇱🇧
The way they mixed it the tabouli and baba ganoush!!!!! I’m dyingggggg
My favorite lebanese dish is called "Moghrabieh" it's a piece of art. But i don't think you can find it in the US :( And Shawarma of course.. Who doesn't like Shawarma?
all of these foods are amazing! thank you guys you're the best!😍😍
Thats was amazing, guys try to eat one of the Lebanese desserts called "konafa". Make more of these videos❤ im Arabian and i love u😊😊.
I’m Lebanese and so glad u loved our traditional food xoxo
Sa7tain
And plz there is no special way to mix food as long as it taste good you can do it, if somebody tells you that you ate wrong he is the one wrong ( actually here in lebanon each region and even each village has his own way of eating food there is no rules for it so just make sure it tastes good)
Wow everything looks INCREDIBLE! Never had Lebanese food before, but it looks similar to Turkish food. I think I would love every single thing there, other than the raw meat lol. Just knowing it is raw would probably throw me off. But fantastic video guys!
NuMi it i am lebanese and the thought of it raw meat disgusted me but i tried it just don’t think about its raw it tastes good really good with oil and onions
same thing my friend
There's a good reason why Lebanese food look like Turkish food. It's because Lebanon was part of the Ottoman Empire from 1422 until 1918. So I guess heritahe affected the culture 😊
Christian Zeidan Either way.... it looks freaking delicious lol 😋🤤
NuMi lebanese cuisine isnt like turkish one, so different
Tabbouleh: Parsley, Mint, Tomatos, Green Onion, #2 Cracked Wheat, the dressing should be 1) EVOO 2) FRESH lemon juice 3) Sea Salt.....
I'm Lebanese ❤❤
Hello from lebanon, happy that you loved the food. I knew you would even before watching the video. And yes dont mix tabboule with baba ghanouj and you should have tried hummus it's was more yummy. And i'm sure if you come, the food will be way more better ❤️
I am half Lebanese (my mom is full blood), and I LOVE Lebanese food, there are some things that I don't like (like the spinach pie, raw kibbi, and tabouli), everything else is AWESOME, I will tell you one dessert dish that is to freaking die for and that is zalabia, if and/or when you go back to that Lebanese place, ask them if they have zalabia and you will see what I mean, trust me
SBK2552 it’s so funny 😂 that the three things that you don’t like are my favourite and they are the most popular among all the other Lebanese cuisine.
lol, I am sorry, I am a pretty picky eater, but my sister loves those, but I do like cabbage rolls even though I am picky, and I absolutely love grape leaves
SBK2552 yeh zalebya but the ashta with nuts. Is my favorite
the world is in love with lebanese tabouli
As an Arab, I feel so proud that they've tried foods that they dont usually eat, especially middle eastern dishes since many Americans dont want anything to do with us. NEW SUB HERE
Yogurt sauce!!!!
It's garlic the best thing eveeeeer
Do another video with these dishes:
Kishk Soup (traditional gruel)
Manoushi Zaatar (thyme flatbread)
Bayd bi Awarma (eggs with lamb)
Bulgur and Tomatoes
Hindbe with caramelized onions (dandelion greens)
Adas bi hamood (lentils, swiss chard soup)
Kibbeh bi Labanieh (Kibbeh with yogurt soup)
These are more traditional recipes rather than restaurant food but if you ask your local restaurant owners (make sure they are Lebanese) they would be able to make you these upon special request especially if it’s for a video!
Can't wait to watch!

Hey guys.
Lebanese Taboule is number one among Lebanese food. But you have to try the homemade one not the restaurant-made one. The taste of homemade taboule is 1000 times better.
I'm Lebanese. I appreciate your love for our food. Thank you.
I like lesbians food too 😋

+Resistance 313 exactly

Lesbanese [Lezbaneze]
"Pretending" that u misspell the word lebanese just proves that u are Either Blind or completely ignorant or most probably ure just a complete douchebag trying to be funny and failed big time at it.

It's the same thing.

Shady Mohamed mmmm. As far as I know there is no Egyptian cuisine the same as there is no American or English cuisine. Beside I never saw any Egyptian restaurant not in Europe and i never seen one in America.

The salad is Tabouleh, and you eat it with a fork.
The dip is baba ganoush or motabal.
The bean dish is also a dip you eat it with bread.
Glad you guys like the food though 👌🏼💕
i am Lebanese ! And The Way Your Ate The Tabbouleh In BREAD is literally offensive lol you just eat it with a fork hahah
