- I’ve been excited to share this one with you! The last video before the Iceman expedition.
Back in December, we went to Norway and Sweden for what turned out to be that last ice swim and bike test. Here’s how they went.
A big thanks to the three 19-year-old, young guns, Mathias, Oliver, and Simon, who took two days off from High School to help make this happen.
And a big thanks and shout-out to Simon on this edit (his first long-format video) and putting up with me as co-director. A lot of hard work has gone into making this video. Hope you enjoy it!

Wish id seen this sooner, good luck on your triathlon in Antarctica. Would love to know what wet suit/gloves/boots you're using? Not too sure on your choice of goggles though, look more trouble than there worth. I would suggest vaseline on all exposed skin (maybe a placebo thing though?) Getting in the water to get your face numb as early as possible will let you keep your HR down and take the pain away as you loose feeling. Go hard.

You should reduce the pressure in the fatbike tires, it's gonna be way easier to ride in bad conditions! I usually ride at 3-4 psi when there's snow.

In the beginning of 2019 I cycled with my friend from Nerherlands to Turkey while wildcamping in an icecold tent (it was mid winter). What I see happening is so recognisable and earns all our respects. The moment you stand aside of the ice pool you will go swim in, you are offered for an alternative, and you say, no, I will do the swim.
At those moments everything in your mind tries to trick you in going for comfort and those moments you are the person choosing to go for the discomfort and challenge. Although you know it's a hell. You know there is a huge gift wainting for you after. So much respect for your journey. Wish you all the best and will definately follow your route. Thanks for inspiring!

Pro-tip: If you want to mitigate your water bottle or other food/supplies from freezing I would recommend you keeping them on your body, you could do this by either having a mid-layer that has fabric holsters for water bottles or by using soft flasks(my preference) and sticking them under your top layer. This is an old alpinist trick usually used to melt snow into water at high altitudes when you don't have a lot of gas, but it would work for this use case as well! Good luck!

Hello Anders, I just wanted to say good luck this amazing journey and we are all behind you!!
I wanted to say, that you have inspired me to pursue a long long idea and dream of mine and I have decided to do it! I will be documenting my journey here on youtube at some point.
My idea and dream is not extreme as yours ofcourse but it will take me completely out of my comfort zone and into the unknown!
I will be taking part in my own triathlon on 21/10/2021. And sorry for the name as it is similiar but I have called this idea/dream PROJECT SNOWMAN.
In my small seaside town in Bulgaria where tempretures fall to around -10 degrees, I will give my all to to complete this. hoping that will inspire other people to do something "impossible"!
I will be 32 years old then and my child will be 6, so hopefully I will be able to make him proud of me and show him that nothing is impossible.
I am pretty much out of shape at the moment, never done a marathon or anything like that and just like you I have a background in playing football/soccer but that was years ago!
So, to you once again good luck with the ICEMAN and to all the people in the comments and those who watch the video, Impossible is just a word!

Kæmpe respekt for det du gør, er du vanvittig det er vildt! Nu har jeg selv cyklet i lang tid, og har lært at når man kører i sand og sne, så hjælper det hvis du flytter dit tyngdepunkt lidt tilbage, altså flytter dit lidt længere tilbage på sadlen. Det gør at du får bedre greb i sneen og derved kan holde et jævn tempo. Hvis du allerede vidste, så er det jo lækkert! Hvis ikke, så prøv det en dag. :)

he did it and it took him around 70 hours. so I guess he slept in some house in between. He made a linkedin post a couple of months ago. maybe they are producing a masterpiece or he considers the ~70 hours not being a successful run (which would be my opinion honestly, but I still love the idea).

So did he complete the full marathon in February yet I'd love to see the clips if he has, for the icing up of his water problem he should use the droplets people use to keep coffee hot just warm the droplets up to nuke warm to just keep the water liquid.
