Great job ! I find jumping back into IDPA from IPSC can be a challenge. 11 points down in PE’s at my last IDPA major - dropped me into 3rd MA OA. Good job not breaking all those rules lol ! Looks like JJ got caught in that trap and shot a jazz hands guy too. I told MM when I was training with him earlier this year that he should try out IDPA - that would have been a fun showdown !

You absolutely shred dude. The way you slide into position is incredible and I don't hear a lot of people talk about how important efficient movement is in these games but it seems to be as important as the shooting itself.
If you had to estimate, how many rounds do you fire a year? Any approximate idea of how often a barrel for a pistol like this needs to be replaced? I'm guessing 9mm pistol barrels can go a long time without needing to be replaced but I have never taken one to a round count high enough to need replacements.
last question, I know you shoot both dots and irons, do you have a preference between the two? I'm definitely a dot guy personally but the irons that Canik includes on the TP9SFX Rivals are the best irons I've ever used.

Yup, out of the box SSP legal.
Obviously I suggest weighing your gear before shooting a major match.

Nils: Canik needs to offer an extended striker (.015") for the sfx line to fix the light hit issue.
did you choose to shoot 2 into the berm on one of those runs to drop an empty mag? not familiar w idpa rules
That’s one of the not so great parts about IDPA, not sure which stage you’re referring to but yes probably.

I am glad that some people can enjoy it. For those of us who are not sponsored, have to hold down a job, and can shoot only when time and money allows, this is just a spectator sport. Be well.
Totally get where you're coming from. I competed on my own dime for over 15 years before the opportunity with Canik materialized.
IDPA, USPSA, IPSC, 3gun, etc are all great fun. Expensive compared to some sports/hobbies but cheaper than others.
@@NilsJonasson I wish you safety and success. I begin to see why there are 35,000 USPSA members and 25,000 IDPA members out of 110 million gun owners. Just takes more time and money than most folks can afford. Back 20, 30, 40 years ago, it was less of a kampf. No Practiscore, just a guy with a clipboard and paper and pencil. Working class people with limited time and money. No one really had a lopsided advantage over anyone else. You would win this month, and maybe I would win next month. Those days are long gone. Like many things in life it changed. Some good changes, some not so good.
