Ok, I get how great EVs are, my wife has one but she still uses my Jeep 4xe or Evo 9 and some occasion my s2k because we're both spontaneous meaning we go on trips unplanned. On top of that, were also busy persons. Two top reasons that gives us no time to charge the car on some trips when car is low on charge. Plus our home charger went bad one time so we had to get it fixed. Regular plugs takes longer to charge. Hybrid is the way to go. EV saving the environment is a scam. They should be more honest, maybe EV saving you bucks from gas prices might be better.
I bought an EV not for environment but because of the instant torque and save money on fuel. Plus charging a Tesla is much better experience than any other EV. Im also a car enthusiast, Tesla model 3s especially dual motors are blast to drive. A lightly modded model 3 can hang with super cars around a track, look up unplugged performance, they beat 911 GT3 RS around many tracks around the world, including one in Japan called Tsukuba. Not bad for a family sedan vs purpose built race car.
I agree with you 100% I also bought it for the same reason and the Tech, huge gas savings, and tired of mechanics and the constant games. Let's face it if you did everything they recommend everytime you have to go there on the gas car you could probably buy Model X Plaid and still would be cheaper 😏
I have professional racing license since 2016 and have driven manual more than automatics or EVs. Most men I beat on the track resorts to either automatic or EVs 😅 not sure maybe its ego too for not being able to beat a woman using a manual transmission😅 I have a Tesla but only use it for work A to B very rare on spirited driving. Tesla is a car I dont mind getting dinged lol hope the day comes when it can fully charge to atleast within 10 minutes.

Well one thing too many moving parts on any engine cars which means too many visits to mechanics plus all the oil changes.
