First I want to thank you so much for putting this video out. I passed my CA barber exam on September 1st 2021 FIRST TRY, and I wouldn't of be able to do it without this video. Thank you again for putting this up. Second I would like to tell all up and coming Barbers who are about to take the exam, I only had 5 rods done at the end of the 20 mins for chemical waiving, I only did half of the back right quadrant for the virgin relaxer and I also did half of the back left quadrant with the color retouch, but i still passed. So this tells me that as long as you perform perfect sanitation and you show that you wont spread infection or hurt yourself or the client, THAT is what is important to the proctor. Yes it is true that you don't use a disinfectant spray and you use disinfectant wipes instead. I rented the kit so i had to show up at 5:30am and they CLEARLY go over what to do. so i recommend renting a kit from the rent-a-kit right next to Fairfield,CA state board. People still passed who didn't rent the kit but the information they provided was so crucial to me. I also, like an idiot, forgot my 3 steam towels that they give you in a bag because i was so worried about having everything i walked off with the towels sitting at the chair... i only noticed this when i was starting my hot towel procedure for the shave. In the instructions the proctor states to do the best with what you have so instead of freaking out i grabbed a dry towel and did the exact steam towel procedure but with a dry towel and i still passed. So when in doubt do the best with what you have. People were dropping things left and right but used perfect sanitation and they still passed. One more recommendation is to find Ms.Britt on Salon Success and watch her. That video Along with Miss Jackie will have you passing. I literally ONLY watched them because they seem the most up to date on youtube and walked in there and passed first try. Also i watched each video 20+ times(thats around 100 hours in front of the computer). I also wrote down EVERY SINGLE step on what to do on flash cards around the 15th time just to lock it in my mind. The first 5 times of each video your going to be OVERWHELMED with what you have to do and thats OK.. then the next 5 you should be getting it a little better.. then the next 5 its getting engraved in the mind.. and by the last 5 times you watch these videos you can basically know what Miss Jackie and what Miss Britt are going to say before they even say it. Good luck everyone. DM if you want any advice or help.

@@miguelestrada2248 they put like 10 pairs of rubber gloves in yur pack if you rent the kit from the place right next to state board and I asked what were they all for and they told me that the anytime you grab the disinfectant whipes a rubber glove needs to be on. In other words when you touch the whipe you either need to take off the glove or just use hand sanitizer. Never go from touching the disinfectant whipe to touchin the clients face or hair. To Answer yur question I don’t think it matters as long as after you discard the whipe you immediately hand sanitizer. Personally I used the same rubber gloves for almost the entire time because I constantly used hand sanitizer. The first and last thing you do EVERY SINGLE EXERCISE IS HAND SANITIZER…. I really appreciate this video, but I hope you weren't paying your videographer. 75% of this video is either out of focus or in the process of focusing and it's incredibly hard to watch.
Video would be so much better if you didn’t speak so fast or speed the video up kindve messed it up
although i found it fine, you can slow it down in the settings, there are 3-4 speed choices one should work for you
Why do you talk to fast???! Wats the point of making this video if you dont really want to help any one!!! Take a deep breath ok now lets relax and start explaining. If u really want to help then help if not just dont make the video
The video is sped up bro lol
Brother was high .
@@heyro2680 im not a crackhead like u my guy
it seems that this video helped lots of people self included, if it didn’t help you make your own or find another….
Lolol
You need to slow down talking . And it’s too low
