Latvian is one of the oldest living languages in Europe and we have one of the largest collection of intangible cultural heritage, like Dainas - folk poetry, recordings of old melodies and other audiovisual materials. Many folk poems comes from ancient past and holds various meanings and purposes. Many are still used till this day in modern adaptations and in general music and culture spheres. Usually each 5 years we hold Song and Dance celebrations where tens of thousands singers and dancers participate.

Thank you so much, it's a beautiful coast full of interesting geological formations called Flysch. Though the song is Baltic and there the sea looks so different I had to use the landscape I had at hand and hope it still conveys the folklore of the song, the lyrics are in English subtitles so people can feel the vibe of what's said and seen.

She starts with ," a beautiful video, beautiful song with a beautiful gentle voice,.The sea is not Latvia and some words merged and hard to distinguish. I listened to Ligo, again clear it's not your native tongue but could understand everything and the fabulousness of the songs, your image and beautiful voice, why so few views?". Audio was entirely rerecorded this Summer because my pronounciation was not good enough, still not perfect but it's a foreign country :) It's been hot here and still is, Been in a few ponds though. Song is mostly acoustic so these are rewardingly simple and just mostly instruments

it's definitely a more complicated song than "ligo" in some points I can`t understand :) /sorry/ but I think it's not due so much to ya pronunciation but due to song mastering sometimes vocoders make the voice too smoth and the detail is lost. huh sea looks deadly :) Thanks for the great another Latvian song !!!!
Thank you, no worries, dveselite was a complicated word me and at auklejums i think too many choirs nlurred it. I kind of can speak it better than sing it due to tempo of the song, I realize i left too many choirs. There is no vocoder and no fx on the voice but reverb, it isjust the way I sing, I rarely use vibrato but it is not smoothed, I sing that way. I had to make a few cuts and combine cos sometimes I would make a mistake, dunno if you may be noticing a jump in take between verses and thank you, live the story of the song and I know it is not perfect but done with the right heart. You have beautiful folklore I love all the mātes. PALDIES. Thanks so much for the listen and honesty.

The formations are called Flysch and we have these North of where I live. I go to the sea rarely, in fact this is a very close location to where I filmed Surrender video too. I always liked this song cos it mentiones one of the Baltic Goddesses, The Mother of Wind in the last verse. :)

it's definitely a more complicated song than "ligo" in some points I can`t understand :) /sorry/ but I think it's not due so much to ya pronunciation but due to song mastering sometimes vocoders make the voice too smoth and the detail is lost. huh sea looks deadly :) Thanks for the great another Latvian song !!!!
Thank you, no worries, dveselite was a complicated word me and at auklejums i think too many choirs nlurred it. I kind of can speak it better than sing it due to tempo of the song, I realize i left too many choirs. There is no vocoder and no fx on the voice but reverb, it isjust the way I sing, I rarely use vibrato but it is not smoothed, I sing that way. I had to make a few cuts and combine cos sometimes I would make a mistake, dunno if you may be noticing a jump in take between verses and thank you, live the story of the song and I know it is not perfect but done with the right heart. You have beautiful folklore I love all the mātes. PALDIES. Thanks so much for the listen and honesty.

Eso es que el subconsciente reconoce el paisaje, puesto que son los Flysch de la costa vasca y ahí ruedan las escenas de Dragonstone en Games of Thrones and House of the Dragons :) but I'm very far from those characters though LOL
