Before d3 sure. I don’t forgive them for changing voice actors. As he was my favorite. If Baal doesn’t sound like Baal I’ll be even more upset. Lucky I didn’t think Mephisto fit in d2 so I enjoyed that in d4.
loving the videos, since your going through so much lore would love to see a longer video (just like 10 minutes so it could be split in parts) going over some of your thoughts and speculation for the future story of diablo 4. i defiantly have a few
At this point i think the devs are hiding Tyrael for the same reason they're hiding the paladin class. To fanbait us back in, in case we all leave their game.
Hey brother, I love this content. It would be cool to see if you would create a series starting from the beginning of Diablo an entirety of its story. I would definitely watch it during my drives or at work with my earphones on lol. Very enjoyable content, thank you!
But Tyrael was also somehow imprisoned in a soulstone with Baal according to Diablo Immortal. But I don’t know when that is supposed to take place. However, since Blizzard is currently preparing Diablo Immortal for the return of Diablo, I’m wondering what timeline that is or if it even is 100% canon.
Tyrael got fed up with the treatment of the sorcerer class and decided to come back when blizzard manages to come up with a proper balancing of the classes.
Whats your opinion on this: maybe Tyrael didnt even want or need to help with (against) Lilith, because she was almost like an ally, who opposed both the invading Hell, and also Inarius, who went crazy and wanted to destroy Sanctuary. Tyrael was diappointed in angels, so of course he wouldnt help neither Inarius, nor other heavenly forces. And he had no businnes in opposing Lilith, who was actually dedicated to saving the humans, same as Tyrael. And another point, was Lilith really summoned just to protect humanity against forces of Hell? Wasnt she also protecting humans against the crazed Inarius?
I feel like Tyrael felt he had bigger fish to fry - and if he was in the western continent at the time of Lilith’s arrival, he may be unaware. What shocked me is that Inarius is supposed to be imprisoned in hell - if anything I’d figure that Tyrael would report him to heaven to be recaptured.
But she sacrificed a lot of people innocent ppl she started getting power hungry like she said in the game she’s no one’s savior she’s just here to prepare sanctuary for the army’s of hell but it kind of backfired because it made humanity turn on each other and added more chaos like inarius did when he took humanities immortality and powers by destroying the stone so basically the parents of humanity pretty much f’d there children on both sides
I believe why Tyrael got scared and ran away just before D4 is because he still has some kind of connection to the High Heavens and the Angels. I believe he saw a vision where he witnessed what the Angels are doing behind their closed gates. Imperius is preparing for war and is training and bolstering the armies of the High Heavens. Imperius sees his plan coming and moment after Malthael killed at least 50% of the Human race, so Imperius is gonna invade and attack Sanctuary and kill all humans. So Imperius will likely come in expansion 3 or 4 in D4s life cycle and we will have some nice variation on the gameplay front with Angels finally being the enemies.
I was talking with my youngest about this. I didn’t have an answer other than, he’s human now, he maybe dealing with something somewhere else, or he’s dead. ._.
Since in diablo 2 and diablo 3, diablo wasn't the end game boss (Baal and malthael are), I believe in D4 the last expansion for diablo 4 will actually be diablo. As many players complained as to why Diablo isn't the last boss of the game. First expansion - memphisto, second expansion - baal, third and probably last will be diablo himself. And with all 3 expansions they will complete the whole sanctuary. Meaning we'll be able to... For the first time reach any and all parts of sanctuary once all 3 expansions release. We will have complete sanctuary world to roam in. How cool is that.
That would be badass. I hope we can also check out other planes of existence too (like Tragh’Oul’s realm or other pocket dimensions like how the Arcane Sanctuary was)
I think the other thing he could have been afraid of instead of diablo was the nephilim from d3. Altho theyve avoided speaking about the d3 character in d4, the end of d3 has him talking about fearing the nephilim going down the wrong path with all theyre power beacuse there would essentially be no one to stop them
i have a theory, Tyrael sensed that the heavens became a Hells outpost because of Imperius actions, Imperius feared the nephalems and that made him seek power and he "fell" because of his pride and fear, becoming a Demonlord and seizing the heavens to harness an army powered enough to destroy humanity and Sanctuary, and maybe Tyrael is trying to save the remaining angel allies that he had before and also trying to seek the nephalem that disappeared without a trace!
*D1* heroes all got corrupted, and is well covered. *D2* heroes are: Amazon; home training others (HotS) Assassin; joined demon hunters, MAI (D3) Barb; MIA Druid; MIA Necro; trained 2 others (Di & D3) but is still alive (HotS) Sorc; dead (D3) Pally; corrupt by Meph, dead (D4) *D3* : only known is Crusader, Johanna is dead, but not how (D4)
When they said he was scared it made me scratch my head. In the lore Tyrael had led full on assaults against the burning hells and has fought diablo head to head during those excursions. Maybe he's afraid for humanity? Him being personally scared doesn't fit his character
Unless the humans of Sanctuary live longer than us on Earth, shouldn’t Tyrael be already dead, or at least very old and weak? The 50 years time jump is quite a radical one
Nutso theory here, but I think heaven and hell are going to fight over who takes over Sanc. Tyrael went to heaven to convince whatever angels plan to come to not, but it will have been fruitless. Humans will be like a 3rd faction joining the conflict literally stuck between now.
Im certain he is dead as a mortal but built a new army before he did. Cause when he gave up his angel status he gave up the essence of justice so we should see a new angel of justice with a different name.
She was right but I definitely don’t agree with her method. The player character/wanderer is the solution she was looking for from the start - Season 5 starts putting more color on who - or what - the player character may be 🤫
It’s possible but I don’t think so - the Nephalem are known to have much longer lifespans than normal humans, and after the destruction of the world stone which restricted nephalem powers - Blizzard basically gets a free lore pass with the lifespans of their characters Hell, we still had Meshif in the game - not to mention Lyndon & Lorath are from Diablo 3
I'm guessing he's probably off somewhere telling another hero that they aren't good enough and can't save everybody. But then he once again fails to do it himself while the person he said was too weak bails him out and saves everybody. Again.. 😂
Aren't angels reborn just like tge demons? Doesn't make sense that the prime evils come from Anu are reborn and the angels are not reborn though they also come from Anu.
They do and dont. The angels are born of a certain symmetry of harmonic sound and light released from the Crystal Arch. If that same combination is hit - an angel can be reborn, but it will not be the same exact one. The new angel will be a clone
She's multidimensional. She loves Sanctuary and wants to protect it - she just has a very demonic way of going about it, especially when it comes to humans who reject her or follow Inarius instead. I made a video about her here: ruclips.net/video/H8ZqxERXtGA/видео.htmlsi=35yity89OS1Wi7I-

@@ChrisBear1989 Yes yes, we do need to fight the angels, Imperius hated mankind since the beginning of their creation.

Not earth, sanctuary. Whats lore say about what happened to d2 barb, druid, necro, or assasin? Or the d3 heroes? I seen crusader died
Diablo heroes tend to fall from grace after their game is over. It's what happened to the Diablo heroes in Diablo 2, all of them become villains.
