I am 69 and I agree. Thank you for doing these. You tend to forget stuff as you get older. BTW it's called a ring terminal when you go to buy the connectors.

Just an idea, common wire problem or failures for trailers/rvs. Grounds are critical and corrosion prevention seem key. Quick fixes while on the road, for example driving lights stop working at night. Thanks again.

Thanks for the information. Not too common to use a junction box but very smart idea. I would opt for a good quality durable box... My rv came from the factory with a junction box used in residential wiring with twist on connectors. All the wires barley fit. It is protected in the 5th wheel hitch. Thanks again.

Very good video. I watched 2 of your videos on trailer tires and then found this one. I needed to know where the reverse wire went. Thanks for your help to me and all the folks that watched. I also just Subscribed.

Hello, can I use the Pin 2 (Electric Brake) to light up a LED Stop Light in order to have saparated led light for brakes and turn L/R leds?

So, you installed a junction box and hooked the trailer cord to the box with easy color coded studs......but never hooked the trailer wires to the box . That's the hard part, especially when the trailer wires aren't color coded or numbered . I hope you have another video on the wiring on a utility trailer . I assume you're talking about the commercial highway trailer 7 way plug, which I use both for my RV trailer and my platform utility trailer . I despise the RV industry for not using the commercial highway plug , of which much more utilized in industry . PS, I'm colorblind .

Yes. I explained in the video why the trailer wires are not run to the box. The video is to demonstrate how to wire a 7 way plug for RV application. The first video ever done on this channel was to wire a 7 way plug for utility trailer.

I like your videos, to the point and very helpful. I bought one of the prewired 7 way with junction box (same manufacture as in your link) The colors are not correct for my car trailer, so I will just have to make a "key" of the colors and how they will be connected so I have it for future use for troubleshooting. There seems to be many different color options, not much is standard lol.
