So much simpler than my setup. Viper geckos are great fun to watch and I've been nothing but pleased with the ones I received from Josh's Frogs. I'm glad to see these guys getting some more love as there isn't nearly enough talk out there about these amazing little geckos. If you have more than one, I've found that it can be beneficial to have multiple humid hides should they all decide to shed at the same time and shallow water dishes for the occasional bath(should the gecko decide that it wants/needs it). And watching them gather around feeding dishes for waiting for food to appear is awesome, but watching them hunt crickets has to be one of life's small joys. I thought my leos got excited when hunting but these guys are something else.
I bought 4 of these adorable little guys from Josh’s Frogs about 5 months ago and they have been awesome! I love playing find the gecko during the day because they’re very cryptic. But at night they are indeed little hunters and are all over the place.
I can't seem to find an answer to this question. I know Viper Geckos can drop their tails, but can they regenerate them (like a leopard gecko) or not (like a crested gecko)? Just curious. :)
This is weird, every time I get interested in one of the animals in their website, they make a video or giveaway about it, first hourglass and clown tree frogs, now viper geckos
Ooooh, a reptile that likes company. Yeah, this is a little bit tempting!

Where are you guys located ?
Great video! :)
I know they are nocturnal but they may get Problems with Rachitis ("rickets" in english I think...) if you only have a heating lamp without UV.
Nocturnal geckos don't need uv
@@jaykrizzle Wrong they are mostly nocturnal but bask outside
@@felixtheswiss that's fine they bask but they are kept successfully without uvb by the vast majority of breeders.
@@jaykrizzle long as you give them their D3.
I really want to get some viper geckos and put them in a little desert enclosure where they can walk around a derailed train-wreck.

Yes they regenerate to the same size but with a finer pattern
Reminds me of tokays.
Should you concentrate more on long enclosures or tall enclosures?
only wish there we're more b-roll
You said UVB is great but what type of UVB is safe for them?

Viper gecko is over $100 wow
Can you keep 1 gecko on its own or would it end up sad?
You can keep one alone! However, this particular species can also be kept in groups.
How similar are these to termite hill geckos?
cool
All about VIPER GECKOS ? Wrong title for this video I'd say
To be honest, i find the music a bit distracting. :\
