Bill Cushenbery's Space Coupe Completion Project

Bill Cushenbery began creating the Space Coupe in 1963 but lost the car in 1966 and never finished it. In May 1999, five months after Bill passed away we found the Space Coupe in terrible condition on a ranch in Southern California. We began restoring the Space Coupe in 2008, but unfortunately had to put the car back into storage in 2009. In 2017, we resumed the restoration and have made incredible progress over the last 4+ years and are closing in on completion. In February 2021, I drove the Space Coupe for the first time in it's 48 year history. Won't be long until we'll be ready to exhibit this historic one-of-a-kind custom car.
