Excellent review , saved me from having to do all of the research and reading. Another benefit of the air bags is it make attaching a trailer (gooseneck or bumper pull) that much easier with much less cranking. I just ordered a set for my '19 Ram 3500
Great video. I just had this installed on my truck but had to go on a business trip so this allowed me to see how to operate the remote without even seeing it yet. Thanks!
Since i have been towing my boat, I’ve noticed that now my truck has a mild bit of sag without any load. Can the bags eliminate this sag even when it has no load on the tongue? Also at minimum psi, is it at original height without bags or does it add additional lift? And if so, how much?
I just bought a used truck that had these installed on it. Thought the controller was a garage door opener lol. Anyway -- I take this truck off road for my timber cruising work almost daily. It looks like my preset is at 5 right now, no towing/hauling. When I start my rig up in the morning and throughout the day it sounds like the compressor is kicking in from time to time. Is that normal? Is there a leak? It definitely does a longer run when it's cold out/the truck is cold. I have No idea what I just bought with these.. but they sound cool?
Great video. What’s the reason you went with two different brands? Also been thinking about getting this kind of system on my f250. How much of a difference in your opinion did it make. My truck pulls it fine. I just want to get the squat out.
What do you do if I noticed left side airbag inflated a lot higher than the other side. I tried inflating and deflating and the truck still sits sideways with one bag taller.
Hey brother I have a s10 same brand of bags and wen my truck is stop it keeps on making noise if you get. A chance I would appreciate if I can get a hand on this or is my bags meat up
I have a 2017 ram dually. And I notice a jarring feeling while hitting small bumps while unloaded. My question is if I get these air bags will that eliminate or help out with the jarring feeling while I'm riding around unloaded???
I know it's been 2 years+, but I'll answer for those who come across this. I have a 2018 Ram dually with the 7,500 Airlift. I tow from carriers, to box, to RV. To answer your question, YES! At 5 psi unloaded or 10 psi to cover the hitch weight, my Ram feels like a smooth ride. Those bumps and cracks in the road that I would slow down because of the harsh ride, I no longer feel or very little feel. No more jarring. Ride height is restored. Headlights back on the road. No more "up hill driving" feeling. Very noticeable difference riding, driving, and steering on active airbags. Airlift, Firestone, Ride-Rite, etc. If there's a next truck in my life, it'll have airbags for sure.
You manually (pressing the up button) take it up to the desired PSI. Then you press and hold the designated preset button to set the PSI. You can do this for button 1, button 2, as well as holding 1 and 2 together for a 3rd preset.
While the bags were inflating/deflating watch the clouds in the windows. The bags seem to take quite a while to inflate/deflate. Too bad that information wasn't presented. Almost like it was deliberately withheld.....

Is that same man that installed these for you taking care of the house while you’re away also?

Just got mine today I have a welding rig. See how it goes!!!
Will this system work on a truck that has been lifted?
Great Job on the presentation. It was easy to follow and understand.
I have helper springs on my 1/2 ton, they help somewhat but definitely going to add air bags for this season.

Does that come with the air bags or just yhe compressor did you install it your self?
You've got me thinking about doing this. Nice series.
Top Notch Lawn Care thanks Brian!
Cant wait for set to come in!!!
Can you do a video on how to sync the remote
Yes this video is no help
Great video series. Been thinking pretty hard about getting a system like this.
I just bought a truck that has the same system in it. Sometimes it will fill and release the air sometimes nothing. Any idea what could be wrong?
That’s cool. Think those would work under the front end for a plow?
Nlang 1616 they make them for the front of trucks also.

Would the same thing apply with factory springs.
Factory 350 springs
Very good series.
I wish you had shown how you set the preset to 35. Otherwise I enjoyed all of it.

Hey Fall River; how long does the system takes to get up to your preset setting? More than 10 seconds, more than a minute?

Nice video Kevin! I loved the different camera angles especially the under the truck shots. Now can you come install a set on my truck next? 😂
