Definitely the biggest sound insulation results I saw on mine were doing the whole trunk, it removed the road echoing effect when going on the freeway. Truly amazing what you’ve done to the corolla!
Besides u banging the rear speaker off the glass that’s a nice DIY and also using a factory gutted speaker as an adapter if u don’t have one is very common don’t let “installers” bust ur balls over a DIY video. Good job dude 🤘
Powerbass OE65C-TY component set. Vehicle specific plug and play replacements that actually sound good for the $$. Tweeters fit the stock location perfectly. Also mounted a GM specific set in a friends truck. So easy compared to trying to mount a conventional component set. Didn't sound deaden the truck like the Corolla, but it was still a very noticeable improvement.
I wanted to boost our 2010 corolla s but ended up just getting a 99 gs400 for $2k 300hp/310tq, 4.0l V8, rwd, toyota reliability, dual climate control, premium sound system, leather heated seats, traction control button, sport/snow mode, shift buttons on the steering wheel, hid auto leveling headlights, don't have to deal with a turbo which is amazing and the engine is easy 300k+ miles reliability sure it is almost 1000lb heavier but it's worth it for the luxury and the v8 is truly amazing, it just keeps pulling past 135mph don't get me wrong the corolla has amazing handling for what it is and I like the compact size still but for what you get for that money just didn't make it worth it in my books, love the build though
Honestly that’s a steal of a deal! If I could have choose between the 2 I would have picked the Gs400 as well! Got plenty of power, and all the luxury features that the corolla does not have! I appreciate you watching the build!
This is definitely a great upgraded especially if you daily drive your car, and listen to the radio! And maybe cost about $200 with the speakers and plugs!
@BrandonStellmach also the large foam plug is to be installed directly behind the speaker in the door, and you should have gotten a deep one that helps to couple the speaker to the plug! If you have enough dampner to do the whole door you will get so much more out of your front stage. And just some food for thought if you decide to do a component speaker set up front make sure the tweeters are as far forward and as close as possible aimed to the center of the roof! It will dramatically increase the sound staging and will be amazing also!!
@@bassdrop4420these are all great tips! I appreciate it! I definitely did not know that about the foam. I thought it was just universal and just sat behind the speaker! I plan to go back and upgrade the tweeters, I just did not find a good replacement yet, but will take your tips into consideration when I do upgrade them!
Nice, I just went through this on my ct200h. I'm looking into the alpine kta-450 amp but I'm not sure if you need it if you have an aftermarket unit. I just want to keep my factory head unit.
@@BrandonStellmach I'm sure they do lol. I have TX65's all around and 2 SDR 10's. Running RP1200.1 and RP75.4 amps. 0 gauge OFC wire and a ground straight to the sub frame of car. Also I have a fused distribution block for both amps. I'll post a link to show you everything and some body flex and what it sounds like. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JHw0Yq1Qb8SaeGS8jVMn8DdPl5ungKMC
I got the seat belts from Safety Restore, you send in your old seat belts and you tell them the color you want. I installed them in this video. ruclips.net/video/F8NZ5Y70n0Q/видео.html
Here are the links, I also updated the description as well. Link to foam: amzn.to/4fJgHtT Link to sound deadening: amzn.to/48P7jCT Link to foam tape: amzn.to/4hPp3lF
I ordered them from a guys on instagram. Here is the video I installed them in, and I put is Instagram in the description. ruclips.net/video/axGn6ZlhIrQ/видео.htmlsi=pK3jMth1HV7__6V4

Ok…………..sorry dude. I quit watching as soon as you cut up the factory speaker to use for a mount instead of just buying the correct one!!!! That is the biggest installers no no that there is. I was afraid to see what the rest of the video had. If you’re going to do the job…………do it correctly!!
I appreciate you watching the video! Even if you didn’t watch the whole thing. If you know the corolla platform, there is not any good options for brackets on the front, so reusing them not only saves me the DIYer money, but works just as good as the factory one did! If you did continue watching, you would see the rear speakers I used a set of mounts that work great!
My first time seeing his video or channel and if you’re such of the expert than watch the bigger builds and quit crying with people that are trying or show your system and shut your mouth

My trunk is going to be soon! I bet that’s is where most my exhaust sound is coming from as well!
I already notice a decent difference with the doors!
the putty is meant to be put under the mounting screws as an airtight seal
pretty much what you did with the foam.
That’s good to know! I was looking at it, and had no idea!
That Cheap Corolla is beautiful in my opinion
Thank you! It has been a work in progress!
Only in america where that corolla is called cheap
😂 in the US, the civics and Corollas are considered lower end cars, which makes them fairly cheap compared to many other cars on the road!

👀 you were not supposed to see that part! 😂
But I appreciate it! Thank you!

It’s amazing what just upgrading the speakers can make a big difference! And the sound deadening definitely makes a difference as well!

Yet another upgrade I need to do to my 03 Corolla CE 😢
This is definitely a great upgraded especially if you daily drive your car, and listen to the radio! And maybe cost about $200 with the speakers and plugs!
the foam around the speaker is supposed to be used on the front of the speaker to couple the speaker to the door card to aim the sound bette!!
That’s good to know and makes sense!

bro shldnt be talking when he sees these 141 Corollas from Trinidad and Tobago 😱😱🙂↕🙂↕🤣
😂 I bet they have much bigger and better setups than this! This is just a small upgrade to the stock speakers!
Nice, I just went through this on my ct200h. I'm looking into the alpine kta-450 amp but I'm not sure if you need it if you have an aftermarket unit. I just want to keep my factory head unit.
An amplifier would definitely help even with an after market radio. I might add one in the future to my setup!
can you show your traction control button more in these video
I am not sure I understand? Do you want to see the actual button next to the steering wheel?
I have Skar TX speakers in my car. They have too much midrange in my opinion. They definitely sound better using the hi pass filter on the RP75.4 amp.
That’s good to know! I plan on adding an amp to the setup soon! But I do have to say these sound much better than the stock speakers did!
