It's not working for me. No matter how many times I click on Reset to default values. Nothing happens. It's not grayed out, but MIUI Optimization is not comming back. I tried lot's of things. Uninstalled Vanced, and many other apps. I just can't get MIUI Optimization back. And my Gestures are not working.

Is game driver an app? You can try enabling miui optimization again, this will fix most of your problem

if you toggle miui optimization than {`~`}
•You'll lose some transition effects, or they'll be replaced with stock android transitions.
Some menus will change (Battery stats, Battery optimization)
Some MIUI apps won't work anymore, or they will present bugs
If you try to take a screenshot with hardware buttons, the resulting screenshot will have a lower quality than with the software button.
Some users say that you don't get OTA updates if you turn optimization off, but I did not face that problem.
Apps that are incompatible or have bugs in MIUI have better performance
RAM usage decreases (you have more RAM available).

If you click rapidly 3-4 times on it than you will get a MIUI OPTIMIZATION. Clicking one time may reset some settings of DEVELOPER OPTIONS. There is no need to worry as it is not harmful.
