when play music i feel the 2 surround speakers are work louder than the beam, they also produce more quality bass than beam specially when the bass is not at low frequncy to let sub kick in fully. My favourate atoms is with disney+ Avanger endgame clips（from 2H:02:30 the avanger building blowup and claps clip, the 2H:07:30 the Big 3 fight thanos clip）gives great atmos and bass when they work together, inside the sonos s2 app you can choose to turn off the surround and sub to compare the difference. make sure you use ARC or eARC channel, the optical doesnt work with atmos. Overall im happy with this system.(not the price for sure). For me the big reason to keep them are :1) clarity of the sound.music and dialogue in movie. 2)like real cinema feel. 3) clean setup and size of the whole system. 4) the build quality.(i do realized samsung HQ950 are cheaper and more powerful than my sets, but that plastic feel and dust collect cover just cant gives me a taste to buy, plus, sonos takes 3 years to make the new gen better, samsung just release upgrade each year.lose point)
For music you have to adjust it even after the true play did it for you..i have the arc,2 sonos one sl as surrounds and dual sub,i have my surround foe music -2 level to make sound of music leveled
@@MrChadder007 beam can not go too loud, when it reach like 70% vol and up it do sound boxy. the demo at store may sounds bad beacause of this. if you try at home after trueplay tonning, beam sounds good. and 30% vol is very loud for me.
Congrats buddy with your system,what do you think about it?mine i have the arc,2 sonos one sl and dual subs,and it really sounds awsome..that sub really rumbles😂i owned 6 different subs in 20 years and the sonos sub is small but really hits deep.and really blends to the system..when you lay down the sub it sounds better?i havent tried it because i dont have place to put it horizontally..enjoy

Do you feel the Beam to have a boxy sound to it? I tried it out in the store and it seems very boxy. Not sure if it needed calibration or not.
