so another sweater? you go! totally would think Tegna would work for you. Love how the Ingalls sweater blocked out. As to sewing, you definitely are inspiring on that. Amazing 👗. rock it girl. just enjoy watching your podcasts , if I see you at VK Live I definitely will give you a hug I swear I won't scare you. lmao. you are just super sweet. much success to you always. 💕.
Ahh! Yes!! Hugs all around at VKL. It was so great getting to meet and chat IRL at the MyYak event, last year. It'll be so good to see you again, Anderea! 🤗💖
so sad i missed you at vogue knitting live. i luv and am inspired by your color choices for your different projects . look forward to your podcasts weekly. BTW, when you "hold 2 yarns together" for a project, have you wound them together on your ball winder? i have seen someone do that recently on instagram and wondered if you've tried it. do you think it would change the look of the fabric versus just holding the two yarns together from 2 separate skeins? and YAY! a zippered project bag tutorial!
You crazy!!! Your Maya dress is AMAZING on you!!! xx I started a Weekender last week - it's so good!!! I'll be sharing on my podcast this week; I can't wait to see yours. The yarn is gorgeous!
Hi, I’ve been watching for a bit but don’t think I’ve commented before. I used to live in New York and I’m bummed I no longer do, since I also love Sarah J Mass (and, of course, knitting). Love the colors on your Ingalls sweater.
I've recently been getting my feet wet with sewing and I've been thinking project bags would be a great practice starting point. I would love a tutorial! You've done such a great job on your others (your brioche one in particular really helped me). Absolutely no pressure, but lots of support if you do!
Thank you. You’re lovely. Frankly the wonky elastic was a comfort to see, that you too run into snags. Beautiful dress. I’m still obsessed with your radiate pullover (no pressure) however, I will add hopefully just a whisper in your ear, that I’d love to see those yarns in a shop update. 🥰 I walk. After decades of running, I find it’s much easier on my joints. Same headphones full of Beyoncé. Does the trick just the same.
Awesome episode as always Kristin! I look forward to your podcast every week. Your sewing is such an inspiration, it seems like every week you have something new and amazing to share. In addition to the gorgeous knits, you get so much done each week! Have a great weekend :) - Emily
i love the dress on you..it looks so very nice, and you will get used to it..as it is worth it as it looks so unique and sophisticated and the jewellery goes so well also. i once has a course linen dress with Eygptian motives in stripe sections..it looked so nice that the slight discomfort didn't matter.
Craftsy/Bluprint has a great class for making zippered bags. I needed the extra help because I'm a novice sewist, but I've had great success making project bags from using that class. Also, search zippered pouch on youtube and there are a lot, A LOT of videos on it. That first sweater looks great! I remember when you were trying to pick the yarn, and the choice is beautiful.
Thank you, Pattymac :D And Yes!! They do have some great tutorials on there as well. I also forgot to mention that Hue Loco has a free project bag-making tutorial on her channel.
Voolenvine I’ll go check out that channel and tutorial as well. I’m in process of switching my bedrooms this week to give myself a bigger craft space and office so I’m super excited to get my sewing machine back out and will be making bags again. It’s such a great beginner project! 🧵
Hello Voolevine! I am a new viewer. I like your channel and that you post so often. That pullover is wonderful and it looks great on you! I love that Patton's sock yarn and that particular one is the cutest they have. I already made two pairs of it and I purchased two more skeins to work with to finally make a pair for myself :))
Hellooo! 🙋🏻♀️ Welcome to the channel, CatKanDu! So glad you're enjoying 💖😄 Patons Kroy socks do make great gifts. They hold up so well! And good for you for finally knitting yourself a pair. :D
What a lovely podcast, everything was so beautiful 😍 totally fangirled over your Tegna because I just cast one on and I’m about at the same stage as you 😂
HAH! Points to me for not making it to box of socks because of 3 half finished socks, for forgetting to submit my hat to the Sparkling Cider KAL as well as any of my 12+ garments the the garment KAL. :D Well at least you've made me cast on all the things!
Nope - I wouldn't pick out that elastic I'd hide it instead under a lovely contrast fabric or waist tie or ribbon. The fabric is lovely - Have you bought a pile of pretty hangers for ALL your garments ?
Ugh, not looking forward to picking out all that zig zag stitch. It's a tempting option 😂 I have decent hangers, but thinking about getting special ones. 😄
I love your sweater with the leaf motifs on it. Congrats! You're one podcast away from the big 300th episode!
Thank you Teresa!

It's the perfect New Year's Eve dress. I love the pocket. I hope you choose to keep it.
Great podcast! Enjoyed seeing the finishes. Best wishes
I love your sweater and the colors that you chose!

Thanks so much, Emily! 💖
Love Webs! It’s in North Hampton, Massachusetts. Totally overwhelming but so much fun! Also love your dress Kristen!

Love the maya dress! I like the pocket, but of course, it’s what you like❤️

@@PattymacMakes Congrats! It'll be so great to have a bigger space for making. Who needs sleep when so much creativity is at work?? 😂
I’m looking forward to hearing how your Belladonne dress came out! I love all my versions.
I had so much fun making it! ... except for the bias tape. I should have some colorful words about that 🤣
Love the dress Kristin!

The dress is super cute 👍
What a lovely podcast, everything was so beautiful 😍 totally fangirled over your Tegna because I just cast one on and I’m about at the same stage as you 😂
Thank you!! And yay, Tegna Twins! It's such a great pattern.
Love the Maya dress!
Do the dress again in Liberty Cotton fabric. You’ll love how it feels.
Ooh, I'd love to try that. I definitely have a weak spot for Liberty fabric.
Love how the Maya Dress looks on you!
I love your podcasts. Please take your camera to Vogue Live. I wanna go.
Thank you so much, Marian. And you bet I'll be taking my camera to VKL! 💖😄
That is the same photo that convinced me to make a metamorphic dress and a tegna lol.
I have listened to the Sarah J Maas series A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES more than twice. Did I see somewhere that there is yarn for this series?
So good!! 😄 I do have Feyre and Rhysand colorways ... and I may do some this week! 😉
What will you be giving away for your 300th episode?

Could you wear a belt over the elastic ?
I could ... but I'm not really into wearing belts. 😆
@@Voolenvine That's fair. Lol. I dont like belts either. But I'm also lazy!
🇩🇿... 👕🧣😍
