I love the look on everyone’s faces when Lori is showing the yarn from Summer Camp and HH combined for a sweater 😂. I don’t think they like the combination. 😊. I love watching you all!
So enjoyed this run down on your NY trip and all the venues and then Sheep & wool, sounded wonderful.. I love to do embroidery fun kits for nieces to begin with- thanks for a great update - I am in SC but son in Danbury - I was tempted to fly in and drive up - especially after I saw the weather - fantastic!!! Talking books, Bee Sting - and Claire Keegan - Booker prizes - noticed you have some from the lists - English prize that comes out every year!! Fun to keep up with what they pick.
@@sophiashaikh2168 -I have to agree with the hype about “James” -I did audio for that and really enjoyed it. I’ve gotten back into doing a lot of the classics, Jane Austin. pride and prejudice / Henry James “ the turning of the screw”
Also, yellow face , was a wake up call to social media - just finished a really good one more current- Kate Quinn /the Briarwood house I don’t have it in front of me. I think I’ve got the title correct went to a friend.
We went to Indie Untangled first and I also got that Treehouse Knits sparkly/tweed yarn too! I got the forest green one and also making a Christmas sweater with it!
I would’ve liked to have known what sweaters you were wearing. I love Julie‘s peacefully. That color that she didn’t like I thought it was really beautiful. Maybe not with the color she had chosen but really super I’m going to look at that plus it’s somewhat bulky so hooray for that, I smiled the whole time I was listening to your conversation. Thank you.😊
Thanks! I just added the sweater information to our description box. We planned to talk about a lot more but ran out of time. I do like the Peace Fleece colors, both of them, but I was expecting something different so was dissappointed. i do love their yarn. Thank you for watching!
Hey so lovely to see you, so you have definitely toned down on purchasing. Where are you podcasting from?Love that cupboard behind. LOVE all your purchases.
Julie-I’m loving your version of the Rug sweater. Question: what weight yarn did you use? I can’t find charcoal Tahki in bulky as pattern calls for…I really want to use the colors that you did! What contrast color did you use? Ravelry is missing those details…thanks, love you guys 🥰
I'm sorry that I didn't write more details at the time! I honestly don't remember much...the contrast yarn was probably brown/copper leftovers. It is still one of my favorite sweaters after all these years. I hope you can find a good tweed yarn to use. Sorry I am not more help!
Thanks for watching..I just switched the ad placement. I put this up quickly and didn't realize that I left that on. I also do not like watching videos with so many ads.
I’m wearing Drover by Natalie Bullock. It’s in the Pom Pom Quarterly, Issue 46. It’s probably a combination of the pattern and yarn I used but it is very comfortable!
They do ask you to leave but we did not stay at any of the event until it’s end time for our slots. When events like this 1st introduced the time slot limit I was a bit upset but it really works out well!
Ladies you are fantastic!! Very enjoyable recap. So many goodies. Julie way to stay strong with no yarn purchases. Did you just feel you had to much yarn already? I do think you should keep the mustard colored yarn and exchange the other one. Also the embroidery kits are so adorable.
Always have fun with you gals 🥰
