It seems like the AI will just rebuild production. So really you need to clear an area of the map and then prevent them from retaking it. So maybe it would be best to clear the area right next to you to the left with auroras and combat chinooks/comanches and support powers and then drop some dozers and pathfinders off to prevent the AI from coming back into that area and rebuilding production. I think you may have to just keep creeping across the map and holding ground since they seem to just rebuild
Buddy, you still need to beat Kihil Beach! lol I'd definitely like to see you eventually beating this one as well. I'm wondering if you couldn't expand to that area to the northwest of your base a little earlier? There aren't any resources there but it would at least give your base a little more room to breathe.
just beat this mission after watching your video, i did the exact same thing as you but before i lost my oils i queue'd up some avengers and tomahawks set on guard mode to take out the buggies a line of like eight mixed patriots with tomahawk+avenger support will hold the line indefinitely
Do you think avengers and an ambulance could help? To me, the toxic field left by the SCUD storm is the most brutal thing about it since it denies you a big chunk of an area for a long time but a single ambulance detox clears it all up in an instant. And avengers to deal with most of the rockets of the buggy's which would make the DPS from them manageable. The US doesn't have the best artillery in my opinion since Tomahawk's aren't great for defense and area denial. Just my suggestions for unit combo's I can think of. Although, Avenger's are really expensive at 2k a piece so you need to find a way around that.
u didnt need to take the 2nd scud, when its launched it reveals itself for like 5s on the minimap, I think that was a costly mistake. Also laser towers have longer reach, so they usually get all the buggies. Maybe if defences are built somehow without direct line of sight, buggies would have to come closer to get them and this way eliminating the distance. Anyway this is a great attempt for sure!
Scud appear when the construction is complete in the minimap and fades away after a few second. You just need to pay more attention in the minimap when you hear the warning about Scudstorm being constructed. You can verify this at this time stamp 19:01
Others have touched on this, but when he fired the SCUD, it showed on your map- surprised you weren't looking for this- lol, this is a good skill to mark them during massive games against AI- or games against players with hidden SCUDS on multiplayer- tho in 1 v 1's you wont need this admittedly Also, as soon as i knew he had a SCUD- that was counting down, i'd reserve 2 particles JUST for that, and KEEP using sat and spy drone UNTIL i found it ALSO, i dont know ironside, but i see from this he has king raptors- i'd fly king raptors all over looking for it in a emergency, as they reveal stealth AND can't be shot down by stingers without there being a billion of them due to point defense laser. But yeah, once your defenses are set, gotta reserve stuff for the few things that can kill you - the rest, hell, you could build money and slowly take land inch by inch to win and he can't do anything about it, EVEN if his units were scripted or his production is stupid fast or scripted or something...
oky dokes, extreme done - not too bad. (one save scum) - Turtle up, use lasers and avengers - to counter buggies, TF there are no scud spawns. - 5 x drops for cash ~ u need to get one or two up ASAP as very little cash and a particle up, Deal with the first scud on the lower middle - get 2nd particle up, to deal with the next scud in the bottom left which he will rebuild as soon as he can. - deal with waves of quads and buggies - air is not the way to go on this map. laser pallys worked well with snipevee support. - a few bombs to clear out too, - WATCH OUT FOR THE SABOUTER sneak attacks over the hills, if your power goes down you can get wiped. once the economy is up and 4-5 particles, spam out pally runs. secure some areas, as he will stealth rebuild very very quickly so make sure they are locked down with a few snipers or expect buggy bum rush attacks. - taking out all his oil by 45 mins stops most of the rush attacks at your base. - good map, well balanced, and fun
I can see you are more used to 1v1 rush games... But what you need to do on this one, just ignore the enemy base and focus on expanding your own. ESPECIALLY the corridor to the right. It leads you to the next supply as well as the oils. The reason why you couldn't defend them is because you need to absorb them with your base proper first. In terms of defense forget the chinooks and particles and just mix avengers and tomahawks. Thats how you win, bunkering forward plus drop zones. Spreading to that second supply will be a game changer. You will get more building space, so the effect of the scoud will be neutralized. I like to play against 3 brutals and I know one needs to get to the point where economy is so great that the impact of three superweapons to the face is smaller than what I can build until the next hit. So despite enemy activity I constantly get stronger until I can start to hit back. Just focus on growth and I promis you, you will win ;)

might just have one defender near the oils for those bikes that come over the top and put a line of defense near the bottom of the oil road and you can build supplies up that road, millionaire avenue lets call it, basically Im saying buy mayfair and park lane and put hotels on it.
@@DoMiNaToR3 No, point defense laser (fastest in game, it used them faster than other planes!) makes it so stingers can't shot it down unless like 5 or more are shooting at it at ONCE_ and it reveals STEALTH, so you'd find hidden stuff easily, then your double particle cannon you held in reserve can clean up!
after like 7 times i bashed this AI. Really helped much drop doser and build laser defence at mountain where stinger placed near player base. that gave me time so i made some money and sw on my base and left AI base. then spamed like 4 paladins, 2 avangers, 2 sniper and with stars did clean top full supply, made base here and slowly did clean map. comanches good idea just at start. AI building even near player units in same place so need to protect clear areas
Didnt you look at the mini map when the scud storm was fireing. I guess you had more things to mirco at the time. But the second scud is at the bottem left area of the map
A few commanches backing up snd vee's with an airfield of auroras and expanding in the first 5 minutes is the way to go, vee's destroy everything while commanches take any buggies and auroras stream ahead to take any clumped up groups, bunkering in one spot is never a good idea
Needed more snipers to kill the fodder. Not sure what vehicles you can build, would suggest avengers and tomahawk. Otherwise just need to hunt the scuds first then expand.
This Mission is really hard yeah... After i watched your Video i instant downloaded the map and tryed 2-3 trys too... after horrible fails, i did go Medium (the easyest one) to beat it and find some stuff out, but they even fucked me up on medium... the enemy units have 10000000% more dmg / health and the buggys are insane annoying. i tryed with a stragey center with the cannon on the front line, but when 2 or 3 buggys come the strategy center is way too slow. no idea. maybe tomorrow again ;)
I guess u should've made vees instead of some drop zones and could've taken that supply. Of course, supply center and se drop zones , but u would have more map control . And make ur enemy break through

Nah I don't think that's official. I'm pretty sure he had some sort of Tomahawk strike and ICBM superweapon but there's no way he had all of that stuff.

no use in destroying enemy oil they basically have limited cash. also hitting production doesn't effect them it just gets instantly rebuilt you should gain more ground combat chinnoks will do the trick i think
I never really understand the reluctance to deploy a pathfinder on the defensive positions. All those lasers/emps wasting time shooting damn troops. This annoys me so freaking much.

Scuds always lose camo when they fire… that’s why you have to take 1 to the face and destroy it once it is firing

king raptors could be a decent scout to find stuff. Legitimately might want to consider parking sentry drones all over.

When the scud got launched it got appeared on the minimap for some seconds
The second scud did show for a second before it became stealth u have to be fast to react and spot it
