- Sometimes I like to mess around to warmup for a tournament, if I can't find any other 1v1 matches. so this time I decided to play GLA Stealth against 7 hard random armies on Death Valley and see what happens. It was kinda reliant on the hijacker finding a dozer early on. I also think that the map and AI pathing plays a huge part in these type of games / challenges.

Recommendation for a replay: Excal vs Vivid, game 8 of their set played today (they are still playing it). Probably the best defense I have ever seen. Truly epic. GLA (Excal) vs Tank (Vivid).
I've been working my way through increasing numbers of hard AI to practice. I've just beaten 1v5 but damn it's hard to manage so much. Gg dom

@@DoMiNaToR3 This was nice victory man , but i have challenge for you , almost impossible to win . To play with " China Tank army " against 7 hard " USA Superweapon Armies " on " Fortress Avalanche " , top middle or bottom middle position , 5000 $ , fastest speed , no limit of superweapons . I think this can beat only some experts like you .
@@XEJTEPall very doable except fastest speed. You'd need copious amounts of Adderall for that.

the AI buys the worker shoes sometimes but u cant tell u exactly which faction or when/why. they sometimes buy buggy ammo and sometimes also dont.

can we get just a 1v1 hard army on like sand serpent or the tournament desert. been super curious how you would play them, but always figured it wouldnt be worth your time. you the GOAT domi.

I play this same map with the same layout, sometimes 1v7 and sometimes FFA
If I play AI hard they have super weapons up in 3 min.. One dozer was just doing nothing..

@Dominator.. play on the Defcon Mayhem 8 player map vs all. Pretty fun and it's a bitch. All units are vet 3 and every structure is hyper built.

AI scripting in zh is so bugged, that even that one medium AI army can take out 7 hard armies.
Plz try it against 7 tank generals
At least you won't have to search for there bases

I know it's a year later
but I faced your same issue when I installed Contra on another directory than C/:
and I had the Vanilla UN-MODDED C&C, Couldn't play it because there was an Error, so it was useless and removed it. and when i removed it the start menu screen appeared Purple. Restored the files on C/: directory and Voila the Purple screen is now fixed.
So my humble advice is to
- Install the game first on it's original path (which is C/:ProgramData(x86)/R.G Mechanics)
- Then Install Contra mod from ModDB site
- Final step is to Install Hot fix patches (Drag and drop them in game files of ZeroHour)
- Try not to use the "Pro MenuBar" while playing and choose the "Standard" or "Contra's Bar"
By the way i've uninstalled it because I do not enjoy the imbalance of mods and stayed with the Original game.

Well, another huge factor is the question , "Is the computer AI all on the same team?" or are they fighting each other?

This probably is a dumb question, but... how are you switching between your factories like that?
Control groups by pressing control and a number to set them. Then press the number
