When i came out i had a huge fight with my mom. She kept yelling at me, telling me it was just a phase, grounded me for about a year. We haven't talked in about 4 months since i moved in with my best friend. On the other side, my dad is super supportive and i love him a lot. I just wanted to say...if you're planning on coming out please make sure you have a safe place to go to incase something goes terribly wrong. ❤️

im so sorry that you had to go through that but also, thats amazing advice. Sometimes if ur not sure, come out on April Fools and if they freak out, Dont feel like you had to come out. sometimes its better to stay in the closet especially if u r under 18. I've came out multiple times but the one I like the most is when I came out to my oldest brother by literally coming out of the closet that's in my room and yelling "I'm bisexual!"
I have come out many times in my life but the funniest one was when I came out to my crush at the time (current girlfriend) on April Fools Day because I didn't know of she would accept me or not (she's a femme and I didn't know she was gay at the time). She yelled at me and said she didn't want to be friends with me or date me. The next day she called me and said that she was joking and she accepts me and is gay herself. Then she asked if I was joking too and I said nope and we've been dating for 3 years now and I love her to death
I came out one year ago today. I talked with my mom, who doesn't accept me, about at least treating me like a human. Didn't go down well, but I'm going to mention pride to her. She just hates my more and is trying to force a boy on me because "as soon as I try out guys I'll be hooked on them"
I told my mom about my girlfriend and her reaction broke my heart. She just interrogated me about it and didn't really wanna talk about it - and still gets tense whenever I mention my girlfriend by name. It's basically like I never even told her; she just tuned it out.
My goal for 2019 was to come out to my parents before the year was over, and I came out to them the last day of 2019. I wrote a note and put it on my parent's bedroom door after they had gone to sleep the night before, and woke up to them coming into my room to hug me 🥺 it felt really good to have gone through with it

This was absolutely awesome to listen to!. I have 4 Instances where I came out: Crucial to the story: I'm a 19 year old Bi Guy. First time was at school (it was during my last year of high school, and the school is very supportive because it was known as the gayest school in the city). It ended up being the _IT_ event at my school because one of my fiends' friends was a homophobe (we'll called her religious muffin) and blew it out of proportion. Had to deal with the principle and everything. Eventually all was settled, everyone was supportive, including my best friend (also Bi) Second time was at a gas station when my Mom was filling up. For some reason, my sister decided to come out to me as bi, which then prompted me to do the same. She was immediately happy that her brother, me, was also bi, as was I for her. Third time was when my Mom was in an angry mood and decided to look through my phone. She cried tears of sadness because I had a crush on a guy at the time, so I had to explain to her that I was like my sister (she came out to our mom before I did). After all that, my Mom is more supportive than she was back then, same for my dad, but my dad still shows signs of not being ok with it, but ya know, he's still trying. Last time was when I was working with my Colleges' Robotics club. We were telling each other stories on a break, and I decided to tell them I was Bi. It turns out one guy was trans and also bi, and the only other girl was lesbian. We're all closer now cause of that, and have had great times with each other ever since. After he believed me tho, I heard multiple conversations between him and my stepmom about how gay highschoolers dont know what they want in life yet. I'm in middle school! Does that mean I dont know what I want in life?

When you come out to your mom and she says that's fine honey, I love either way. Then you go to come out to your Granny and she says that she's gay too and that she's always known. I love my Granny so much, she's so sweet and supportive and has been helping me get through some awkward times with being a lesbian I also recently came out again to my entire family and they're all cool with it
I'm finally starting to feel ready to come out (after like 5 years lol). I'm thinking of ways to tell everyone I know. I did tell one friend of mine last week, and she said that was cool, and that I was awesome as I would definitely find a girl/boyfriend easily. It was so nice! The first person I ever came out to was my best friend. It was just as easy as I thought it would be, since she's a lesbian. Her sister thought that she was Pansexual (Her sister, not my best friend) so I looked up the very specifics. I said Pansexual is... and then I said Bisexual is..., like me. She was of course very accepting.

I'm Bi, and I drew the Bi Pride Flag and put it on my door. I plan to come out to my parents soon, but in order for my "plan" to work they need to see the flag on my door. If all goes well, it should look something like this: Mom/Dad: Son, what's that on your door? Me: It's the Bisexual Pride Flag Then after that, my parents will know that I'm Bi.

I just did it this morning. I wrote a letter and put a copy of it on all of my family member's beds. the not basically said that I'm bi and it can't be changed. I had a pretty big talk with my mom and she said that it was fine but she needed some time to get used to it because all of my siblings are gay or bi. have to talk to my dad later today and I'm not very excited. I'm only thirteen so I'm nervous that he wont believe me

I just came out last week to my mom and her boyfriend as gay and I feel a lot better🙂🏳️🌈
When you come out to your mom and she says that's fine honey, I love either way.
Then you go to come out to your Granny and she says that she's gay too and that she's always known.
I love my Granny so much, she's so sweet and supportive and has been helping me get through some awkward times with being a lesbian
I also recently came out again to my entire family and they're all cool with it

I'm finally starting to feel ready to come out (after like 5 years lol). I'm thinking of ways to tell everyone I know. I did tell one friend of mine last week, and she said that was cool, and that I was awesome as I would definitely find a girl/boyfriend easily. It was so nice! It makes me feel better about telling other friends of mine and my family. I've got a huge pride flag and a few bisexual and panromantic items waiting on my Amazon account to buy when I finally tell people. Wish me luck!
Edit- also, this is kind of random, but a girl that I have a serious crush on transferred back into my French class! I'm pretty sure she's gay, so that's good, but I don't think she feels the same about me as I do her. But I have hope. At least now I can see her and talk to her ever other day.
My first coming out was with my best friend, she accepted me and everything went good, but I felt bad because I was like "did I even need to do the coming out? ". The time next my other friend was talking about her crush so I just talked about mine without even thinking and that was awesome, so I don't think that I want to do other coming out and this isn't an important thing for me. 💜

i came out to my friend group while we were studying for our math final. i was doing horribly and kept messing up and everyone was laughing so i just said “this isn’t fair i’m gay i can’t do math,” they all looked at me and my friend, jake, was like “really??” so i nodded and started crying and then they all moved in and hugged me and kept telling me that “they loved me for who i was.” jake and i also platonically flirt a lot and after i came out he referred to me as his gay girlfriend so i call him my straight boyfriend lol. i stg i love my friends so much. 💞💗💓💝💘💕💖
I just come out to my best friend today
The first person I ever came out to was my best friend. It was just as easy as I thought it would be, since she's a lesbian. Her sister thought that she was Pansexual (Her sister, not my best friend) so I looked up the very specifics. I said Pansexual is... and then I said Bisexual is..., like me.
She was of course very accepting.
I'm already out to my friends but today I was wearing a super gay outfit. I said: "I'm feeling super gay today" My friend said: "you go girl"

I'm Bi, and I drew the Bi Pride Flag and put it on my door. I plan to come out to my parents soon, but in order for my "plan" to work they need to see the flag on my door. If all goes well, it should look something like this:
Mom/Dad: Son, what's that on your door?
Me: It's the Bisexual Pride Flag
Then after that, my parents will know that I'm Bi.
