Haydunn, as a student and full time worker, I cannot be thankful enough that you drop your videos exactly between when I have school and work. My busy ass schedule stresses me out like crazy, but your videos, and specifically your commentary really helps take the edge off.
I was here more than a decade ago watching your wifi battle videos and now I am here watching your video focusing on my favourite Pokémon. What a journey
Perish Song: This song, designated a "Harmful Earworm", is at the same time catchy and dangerous. Once you've heard it, you can't stop playing it in your head, eventually it begins stacking on itself, taking up brain space, and overloading the neurons until you faint from the mental fatigue. Entering a Pokéball clears the song from a Pokémon's head somehow.
Special meowscarada with nasty plot and leaf storm . I used it when meow was in UU for a while and it would constantly catch people off guard . You can run overgrown plus sash for a one time nuke after your nasty plot or just use protean plus coverage to get stab on all three of your attacks. I would run a grass move , dark pulse , and something for coverage like aurasphere for steel types . Surprising and surprisingly effective
Love that you got Whiscash. I rock with a mirror herb dragon dance set with outrage and tera dragon. Ether dies or pops off in the most disrespectful way
Oh, special Feraligatr is one of my favourite 'reversed' mons! I would absolutely love to see you 'ruin' Gliscor by turning it into a special attacker (Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse & Earth Power as coverage). I wouldn't mind a full physical attacker either, as long as it isn't its usual stally self 🙂
Special attacking Feraligator reminds me of one of my old gen 1 favs: Nidoking. Both have high attack, mid special attack, and Sheer Force. But Nidoking doesn't have the option of a good physical build. With the King, his high physical attack is met with a shallow physical movepool, and one of his best stabs doesn't proc Sheer Force. So people play him specially. His lower special attack is offset by better coverage and more Sheer Force abuse. I hope Nidoking and more of my gen 1 favs make a triumphant return in future games, but for now I'll watch special Feraligator to make up for it.
If I did the math right, Gatr actually has more special attack than Greninja when clicking sheer force boosted moves. Granted I could probably count his special moves that matter on one hand, but they're still strong enough to deserve to be taken seriously.
I think they share something in common. They get boosted by the same amount as well, maybe life force is like giving sheer strength/force but when it's a mon without the natural power it hurts in recoil. I feel like they should get rid of the recoil of all moves for sheer force users. Otherwise it does make it more confusing
Could also try Specs Special Gyarados, its got wild coverage. The other thing to try would be Belly Drum Slowbro or Special Mienshao (it gets Calm Mind and randomly has base 95 Special Attack)
The tera electric on feraligatr reminds me of an old TCG card that went around that had tha gatr as an electric type or dragon type that had super energy charged around it! Would be cool to see some tcg themes singles team mons (i imagine some would work but many wouldn’t lol)
You made it work! I’ve got load of ideas I’m thinking either Steel beam steely spirit perserker and Agility farigiraf either a tera blast attacker or a throat spray hyper voice user
I love using this set its as strong as the physical set and it gives feraligatr some nice variety, however i reccomend using focus blast for ferrothorn and good damage
Haydunn my dude , ive been enjoying your content for a couple of years now ,i just wondered if your comentary for the match(es) is on fly or thought out? Can't wait for the next vid❤
Alright. After watching (both?) delphox videos, flareon and more, you get a sub from me my guy. Well deserved, and i look forward to trying out some of your builds!
Considering Nidoking has been legendary in VGC since Gen 6 doing this with a base 85 attack, so the same with base 79 isn’t too crazy, but I have in fact never seen this. I do love to see it tho
I used a special feraligatr with blizzard and muddy water in vgc alongside an Alolan ninetails so it won’t miss a single blizzard. It hits like a truck.
i thought of a idea, make a weather team, like using all the pokemons that have those abilities of benefits on weather example:Chlorophyll, Solar power, Swift swim. Snow cloak, etc Use Tornadus as a Weather setter, it just learn all of the Weather setting moves + Has prankster ability in incarnate form
24:39, another classic reminder of how unbroken these games are! But for realies, I've been enjoying the unexpected uses of certain pokemon like special feraligatr.
his technician boosted moveset still deal less damage than higher base power move, punk rock + 140 boomburst is the optimal play tbh. but id love to see it work
@@ImperialLemon more like unoptimized in a sense of fun way + that has synergy with the game mechanic (niche item, ability, or move) to make it work, not like choosing thundershock over thunderbolt for the sake of it
@@iceseic But this follows the exact same idea as the Feraligatr in the video, just reversed, mixing it up on the opponent with Physical instead of Special attacks.
@@illusionaryheart3325 Im not against physical toxicrity, its that he doesnt have physical attack that get technician boosted. its only electric attack below 60 is nuzzle at 20, as for poison is poison tail at 50 or 75 after technician boost. the thing is he can just use regular poison jab at 80 without boost, which mean you can run punk rock or plus on physical toxicrity and it wouldnt made a difference. while feligatr sheer force still synergize with special attack
This is why I believe Tera is the best generation mechanic. Obviously we all love MEGA's but not every pokemon got a mega. So Teras actually the best. TBH
See if Special Leafeon is worth a try. I normally use mine with Weakness policy, Impish, 80 to 180 Speed investment. etc... It's physical defense (with some HP investment) lets it take a hit. Giga Drain is niche - can't say I've ever built it special, but it does get copycat too ;) - it's not for the faint of heart. (I'd run 180 speed if without sun - but honestly, pfft, who needs sun -...unless you're running weather ball and/or Solarbeam too ;)
You should really try out my rain dance team tyranitar: Adamant Weakness policy Dragon dance Rock slide/ or another strong rock move Surf Dragon tail/roar Divide your ev's into everything but attack and speed And flying tera
Haydunn, as a student and full time worker, I cannot be thankful enough that you drop your videos exactly between when I have school and work. My busy ass schedule stresses me out like crazy, but your videos, and specifically your commentary really helps take the edge off.
I edge to his videos
Technician Toxtricity with snarl, Shockwave, boomburst, and acid spray. With assault vest is lowkeey better than it should be
Poison Electric will also be pretty interesting. Probably either run Throat Spray or Air Balloon
@@survivorofthecurse717 throat spray and tera flying
I see what you did there with low key
Punk Rock is just better though. Overdrive becomes 104Bp and Boomburst is 184BP. Tera Normal Boomburst is absolutely bonkers damage!
You may not have noticed, but this channel is about making suboptimal sets work, not about running the obviously better choice.
Pokémon Stadium Announcer Voice: Looks like Feraligatr has an idea! WOW!!! That was shocking! It's Super Effective! The next one goes down!
We need that guy back
I was here more than a decade ago watching your wifi battle videos and now I am here watching your video focusing on my favourite Pokémon. What a journey
Shoutout to Feraligatr for not missing a single muddy water 👏
Meanwhile my wide lens serperior missing 99% accurate leaf storms
His luck is about to humble his ass 💀
It's sheer force in action. It is a 85% move, however it's sec9ndary effect is to miss whenever you use it, which is nullified by sheer force
The totodile line is my favorite starter line. The simplicity of the design along with the mono typing and an amazing shiny is just phenomenal to me
a gator in muddy water, very florida-coded video thank you haydunn
I’m definitely not hiding in the bathroom at work to watch this video
Back to work
"Get back to work"

FERALIGATR MY FAV MON YESSSSS
Check out his old one! This is the gators second vid!
GATR GANG RISE UP!!
@8:30 I might suggest, for the future, that you just note that you'll let him 'sleep with the fishes.'
0:57 Ayo! What?? 😂
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yes officers, this man Hayden right here
"I got a Pokemon Batman"
@drjonesey5 "What pokemon did you catch Joker?"
Breaks the disguise, and the left side of his game.😂 24:38
Hey now that random electric fer card I have is now lore accurate

Feraligatr used WAVE CRASH. Oh thats right Game Freak hates him so he only gets liquidation or Waterfall.
Love that you got Whiscash.
I rock with a mirror herb dragon dance set with outrage and tera dragon. Ether dies or pops off in the most disrespectful way
Your videos are really amazing! And you’ve helped me understand competitive Pokémon with the chill commentary
Feraligatr is now a water type Skeledirge.
Nah, Skeledirge be Gatr's younger cousin
Special kanto Tauros. Tera grass. Sheer force. Life orb. Has caught all my opponents off guard…. Looking at you gastrodon…. Forrestress
Special feraligatr is absolutely insane and the whole reason I’m subbed! Love the shenanigans you get up to haydunn keep up the great work!
9:46 Bold of you to assume I haven't already hit that like button 😤😤
Loving the content Haydunn!
I was waiting for him to call us out for eating lunch while watching again 🤣🤣
The most amazing thing in this video ia muddy water connecting as much as it did.
An electric water alligator on a grassy terrain Fried a dancing bird.

Would you ever run a physical set with Facade since you are most likely running the toxic orb? EQ, Facade, Poison Jab, protect.

Lapras is probably my favorite surprise attack stat mon, nobody expects the ancient sea turtle
Blunder Policy Zap Cannon sounds like a Haydunn combo if I ever heard one lol

Lunch today: Turkey wrap, some fruit and a side of Haydunn battles 🙌🏽
Special attacking technician scyther with vacuum wave and silver wind

Special Attacking Feraligatr?! Absolutely brilliant! One of my all time fave Pokémon! Such an interesting way to use him holy crap 💙
This makes me want a Special Version of Dragon Dance.
Like Draconian Chant or something

Physical Attack using a Special Set:
Garchomp with Assault Vest
Dragon Pulse, Scorching Sands, Flamethrower, Surf/Tera Blast (Water)
I see a Haydunn upload... I click... I like
I would love to see executor actually used with dragon hammer
Bro really took one of the best physical water types and said "what if it were -purple- special?!?"
24:33 Nintendo Uses Copyright Protection

Hi Haydunn, could you do a special attacking Breloom? Would love to see that as Breloom is one of my favourite fighting type Pokémon ❤
That Alolan Ninetails was unfortunate, but your opponent probablt should have used it before the Rillaboom
Floatzel did the Water Crash Out
5:14 “not faster than these buttcheeks” 😂😂😂

I haven't seen that fancy orange pattern clothing from the second match's opponent before. Wonder where you get it.
You sir are the GOAT!!! 🐐
Gamefreak tried to put those cheeks on his back to make you think they were scales.
Give this man 400 subscribers 😊
Love your videos hello from Malaysia

8:24 Snore Snore!!
Drizzle drizzle.
Muddy water more like missy water; i just cant get myself to use that attack in serious matches but this does still sound like fun :3

I can't imagine Special Mimikyu - but it also gets access to Copycat and sounds fun. I just like the mons I like :p
Haydunn, try to make Shiinotic a viable mon
Never thought to use Feraligatr this way😮. Anyway to get an unorthodox moveset for Lucario?
Surely Meganium is next! Please help the gentle giant find a playstyle that isn't just screens!

Gimmicky but fun
Tera Normal Snorlax looks so baller tbh
Basically a water (or electric) type Nidoking but FAST
I’m watching this while on the 🚽
Love for the one of the best classic starters 🙌🏼
Awesome rain team
Best and most consistent Johto starter.
I challenge Haydunn to make Seviper a monster 👀
Day 1 of asking for Dusknoir. Show some love to the dead boi!!
I second that. His design is so much better than dusclops.. I just wanna see him viable.
YOOOO my boi Totes the Dile AKA Big Snappy.
A True mad lad
How come I just now find out that Sandy Shocks Tera SPINS with it?!?!
Awesome video🎉 But where’s spookshire?! 😢
The true meta breaker
Long time ago i thought you were gonna do a Blaziken video so i never asked for it. If you don’t mind, that would be epic
special gator!!!
Thank you

Adamant
Weakness policy
Dragon dance
Rock slide/ or another strong rock move
Surf
Dragon tail/roar
Divide your ev's into everything but attack and speed
And flying tera
I hope I will see you playing double battle someday.
Now can you get Banette zooming?
I’d like to play 6v6 Pokémon battles, but the game only let me play 3v3… how can I chose this mode?
I missed you Hayden
Nice video!
