Good to see 3 tonne getting trained up on the machine, Your luck will change with breakdowns . I think the stone guard should go back on the sprinter with a name for the sprinter like “The Baxenden Flyer” or similar then name the DAF and midlum.(I can do a sticker for sprinter free). Maybe in reverse so when the person in front of you can see it in their mirror
When we came to be nosey we made the mistake of turning left where those highways vans are and going along that lane. Nearly took a wheel off 🤣

Another absorbing video, John Astley is just the guy to have around, James and the 'Astley team' are getting every bit of value out of the baler, and, of course Chris is a great right hand man.
Wow, you were lucky James, not to lose part of your finger, I sincerely hope it's mending, you haven't got time for a trip to "Accy Vic" the way the work in the yard is increasing!
It's strange really how such a comparatively delicate job has to be achieved with chasers and a great sledge hammer. But as usual, you managed it - a job well done.
It's a shame that the machine operator didn't work out, it's like everything else, it had to be tried. However, I think in house training especially with a chap like Threeton (one of my BCB heroes!!) will pay great dividends and, James I think you are the right guy to do the training, you know the machine intimately , you have a good touch when you are using the dismantler and have the ability to pass on that skill.
I always look forward to the videos; this one has been one of the best. Best wishes.

Good to hear you're giving training to 3 ton hopefully he will be putting more then 3 ton in the skip 😂🤣 i bet poor john is getting fed up fixing everything in your yard the last few weeks and wants to go back to hes garage business in the warm and dry you need to get some one in full time mechanic welder fabricator as stuff keeps breaking down as it's hard on the old machines but checking and maintaining the machines before they completely break down is the priority as that saves money in the long run

Making tool's to complete a job has all ways been a thing in the years I been fixing cars due to a special tool needed and over priced.
