On the large fork lift you need perfix glass in front of the cross bars just high enough to stop water fallen on the controls and operators legs

Hi John, James, and get well Zoe. I can appreciate how busy it can be just non stop at the same time how it just works well and organised, Kenny fitting new racks , Pete having a dance, every one just knows what they are doing, busy but not stressed , it all looks good from were I am. I still say that John has done well with that tv, he stuck to his guns on that one and it has paid off. That is a great idea and a money maker, selling part worn tyres, some one pulls in for a set of tyre all round £20 a corner an easy £80 bargain. I think it’s time to get Baxenden Car Breakers uniforms soon for the entire team, especially the drivers as they go out in public. I dropped this comment mid way through the vid and you guys just mentioned hardhats are en route for all the heads in the yard :).

Quite a bit of money to be made in tyres, but you do have to check them and mark them properly these days. When I had Altham Auto Wreckers we had a tyre bay that was pretty busy, with a balancer too. Your only problem I guess is not having a lot of space for punters to bring their cars in for tyre changing.....

How do you get a way without reversing buzzer on all you vehicles. Should have paint floor walkways . Not sure but I think your forklifts need flashing lights when moving ... your drop down site entrance gate . Needs a bit adding to the end public can still walk past it ...... apart from that 9 out 10 😊

I watched the whole video through, then watched it again. The variety of tasks that have to be completed is amazing and the work rate quite a bit beyond that! The style of video is good because it give a much more true idea of the day to day activities and the organisation behind it. It was good to see the ongoing maintenance of the dismantler and possibly, when he has slotted in as a permanent member of the team, we will get to know the new dismantler operator, if that was him, he looks a likely lad who know what he is doing.
Kenny is lightning on that racking the speed he is going with the build, he'll be wracking his brain for something to do very soon. (Play on words there!)
When you have the engines in said racking how do you intend to weather protect them because the Baxenden sunshine you were working in isn't going to do them a lot of good. I was trying to imagine how you would manoeuvre round what looks like a pretty tight area to lift those engines on and off their shelves, it looks like a fairly tight spot from the camera angle.
I missed John's synopsis of plans, progress and achievements he is becoming much more confident with the mic and camera and his two or three minutes helps (me anyway!) to keep abreast of things.
Overall a good video, plenty of action and genuinely interesting.
I was up in Castle Cary at 'my' garage today, chatting to Colin, Drive's dad, he said he enjoys watching the BCB video's, he pointed out something I had taken for granted, "I like watching, they don't talk down to you like a lot of them do." That's part of the attraction!
