One word RUSSIAN... Just look up Eugene Kaspersky... That dude was educated at an KGB sponsored tech college. I wouldn't trust anything coming out of that tyrannical ruled piece of poop country... Seriously F' Kaspersky and their entire team...
I’ve used Kaspersky for 15+ years…. tried others like Norton, BitDefender, GData, F-Secure… and always go back to Kaspersky.. even post-Ukraine War and despite US Gov sanction. If Putin wants to play on my Star Trek Online or Mechwarrior Online account, that’s ok.
I've used it for 10+ years but this latest UI stinks. I was forced to download the new Standard (internet security) because Safe Money stopped working. Everything is huge instead of streamlined. I don't like CLEAN & SPEED UP are packaged with Antivirus. I just want virus/malware protection.
I have been using Bit Defeender since 2006. Never a problem or a virus! Still using today! I have been an IT professional since 2002 and started with Norton and switched to kaspersky. Switched to Bit Defender because i don't support Russian companies.
with alots annoying pops nonfiction's & delete some of the files i need it , no wayy trashed that , i dont care is cheap or expensive , the BEST i like & use is Kaspersky or Bitdefender both of them is TOP notch & piss on the rest!
Norton scoring 20 instead of 14 for the one section in performance should have dropped the score to 5.5 at best. You docked BitDefender for missing 1 thing in usability.
I have been using it for 7+ years in INDIA and it is just GREAT. I do understand the political issue between Russia and the USA, hence Americans don't consider Kaspersky safe.
Just if anyone reads this. The best choice both economically and effectively is to choose Bitdefender and Kaspersky. Rest (except eset) don't have any properly working behavioral guard except maybe if you put all of their security standards to the strictest, which will result in lots of false-positives anyways.
I have not even watched the video yet and I can already guess whats going to happen. Looks at the garbage that is AVTest for metrics. Performs zero testing. Recommends the one that gave a better discount code. I shall edit this comment with if I was right or wrong. Edit: As expected I was 100% right
Norton and McAfee are the Harley Davidson of AV. Been around forever, have a strong brand presence...outdated and nowhere near as good as their competitors for the same money. I love my FLHXS, but realize the other brands kill HD in many categories...for less money.
i used to use Norton but now i am using avg internet security its surprising that you did not even include avg or avast. I have used bitdefender as well although my personal experience with it was horrific. ram usage high(over 400 mb most of the time), definition update used to get stuck occasionally, fast battery drain etc.
norton is the best. It performs incredibly well on my win 11 lappy which has core i3 11 gen processor and 8 gb of ram Ram usage is on the higher side and occasionally reaches over 400 mb but the ram usage reduces significantly when more programs are open on my lappy. i use the basic plan which is quite affordable

Are you Russian

THIS AV IS BANNED

Norton pricing isn't low. Even the first year deal puts it as the most expensive and after that it's nearly double.

Norton Really Slows The Computer Down A Lot. That's Why I Stopped Using It.
As an ex-tech I loved Norton. Gave me far more work than any virus ever did.
Norton's constant upselling is making me think I may try ESET when my Norton subscription is up.
I tolerated Nortons constant nagging popups for years until I could no longer deal with it. I switched to Bit Defender which silently does its job.
Also I use Kaspersky for 5 years now ,and lovin it
Both of them top notch & the best out there, piss on the rest🤙 f Norton
You found a way to get rid of BD's popups? For me, they're almost as bad as website popups.

I'm sorry, I dont' get it, how did you guys tested against zero day vulnerabilities?
I'm pretty sure that 14.6 is higher than 14.5. There were only 5 scores to keep track of so not sure how those got reversed?

MCAFEE. Stop install in New computer please. We don't want to see it anymore.
Eset is the best

Here in the UK, I get full Norton suit free with my Broadband connection..
Nice video, but man, your video effects and edits seem to have escaped from the '90s or something
The pricing alone is disingenuous for a few of these. That first year pricing but may boost up significantly easily knocks it down a rung or two.

Not enough criteria to fully judge methinks.
What about Webroot?
What about AVG anti virus any opinion ?

Bitdefender ❤
I use Eset
I had to ditch Norton for one reason. All the popups and upselling notifications. It has gotten worse than a bad phone game.

63$eset vs 28$ kaspersky and he rank 4.7 vs 4.8 this is a joke.
This was horrid. Comedy should not be combined with security. Not even going into how these products are arguably the virus, not the solution.
Norton is greedy as hell.
