Great scoop. If it's too light for the water clip a little weight to it for use in the water then remove
Hi Ray. The handle floats a little too much. I am taking out the foam and letting it fill with water and I think it will be perfect then. Most days we don't have fast currents here so weight isn't that much of a problem. But thanks for the tip! I need to glue in my magnets next.

@GOLDnSILVERStacker yes I have plans to hit some areas with a hookah hose. It's 30 feet deep where people swim and tales of a huge diamond lost.

Hey pirate I’m watching the video and it seems the extreme scoop is more pointed instead of Being round at the lip! It might be more difficult to Sort and skim the sand piles like you do
The pointy parts help go through the coral rocks and shells here like butter. I haven't had any issues with it skimming stuff. I used my old scoop one more time after just to make sure and yeah, its in the closest for back only now.

I don't understand why a scoop cost almost as much as a good quality metal detector. Its a shovel with holes...a nice shovel I give you that but still just a shovel. What's next a $500 screwdriver? Not bashing you I love the vids just think prices are getting out of control we need more competition.
Titanium is expensive and I think the factory is in the USA. You get what you pay for. The weight reduction from steel is worth it for me because I am out there all day. In the water I don't notice much but on dry land its huge.

Hi, thanks. Yeah I needed a break. I did take the time to play around with new ways to edit. It is still sanded in here like crazy. I don't know why its so bad this year. There are some spots but far and few between. Plus bad weather nobody is coming to the beach. I have a pictures here on a Sunday at 3pm with only 2 people on the beach between two lifegaurd shacks. Last year at this time I could almost not walk around people in the water. Something is weird here.
@@pirateofmiamibeach weird ... I have noticed that our summer is starting later every year it seems ... we used to get some beach activity here in September and October ... but lately its now only in November and December
It looks like a great scoop. How is the grip?
I am still getting used to the grip. I have since wrapped it with duct tape and its a huge improvement for grip in the grease waters here. Well will see how the callouses on my hand go. Will I have more or less?😂
I really like my extreme scoop, I did have two minor issues with the grips though. the big one on the end would always keep turning on me every time I went to scoop up a target and the one on the small handle kept slipping off, So I took the one off the end and cut it down to about 2", rubbed some waterproof caulking on the inside and popped it back on, she works like charm now. But I still have issues of the one on the short handle coming off.
I have used it for about a week and haven't experienced anything like that. I know it time things can start to happen. I will keep everyone posted. I do a ton of modifications on all my gear to make it work for my situation.
Hi pirate riding in on the scooter really adds to the video, I think you could make it a longer ride in with a view from the front of the hotels on Main st will make it more interesting! I think the unboxing probably would’ve been better to do at home! I’m waiting to see you use both scoops for a while just to find out which one do you think you prefer? I’m interested in one that I can use on, the New England Shoreline, which is particularly rocky to and heavy! The water here in the northeast is not ad clear as the Miami Shoreline is!
Yeah I am trying to collect more B roll for the videos. The scooter makes everything more accessible and I don't pay for parking. Yes this scoop will tear up the rocks but nothing is unbreakable. I still take my time to get in between the rocks and never put full power into digging.
I could ride my scooter to this one part of MB where the bums attack me every time 😂That would make for some funny video
