- There was a nice spot on Miami Beach that a lot of sand move and I was lucky enough to find this while underwater metal detecting. Lots of other rings and stuff came up along the way.

I still tend to dig everything until I get tired and then I skip a little.

Nice bracelet, good hunt. Even though Tarpon are a predator fish and get really big, they have sandpaper mouths,no lacerations. And death by Barracuda is almost non existence. But beware of the Bull Shark. I am sure you realize this by now, but I know you water hunt at night. I like your underwater camera work with Mermaids.😊

The Hyundai land and sea show is here. I was at the beach today just setting up and the F32 were ripping over our heads doing test flights! I will be in the water tomorrow but I will try and stop to get a lot of the show when it starts. I will try to focus mostly on the show and leave the gold till Sunday 😁

the next time I go water detecting, I will be applying a couple of magnet strips to the basket. it will help a lot.

I carry my magnet and loupe in my purse at all times.
I usually have them epoxied in the scoop but over time they fall out. I have to put new ones in. And they help catch those little bits of iron so well

Sometimes 3 feet! I very rarely wear a mask and snorkel. It's for when I know I am looking for something deeper or massive waves.

@stevehall734 Buy a good quality mask used for spearfishing and make sure it's comfortable. You will have it on all day also get uv blocker

Yeah he was drunk. He was talking with me for 5 minutes before. And then meander off over the top of me and my coil. It's ok it's Miami Beach. I am used to it. People are here to have fun and enjoy themselves.

@limegreengiant New Smyrna Beach is a Hotspot. We are way south of there. There is a difference in topography on how the shore interacts with the deep ocean. I have seen many sharks here metal detecting and spear fishing. You just have to accept the risk to rewards when entering is all. More people die on bikes and walking the streets here in Miami Beach then by sharks. So it's all perspective. Who is more dangerous and takes more lives?
